Definitions
- the present invention relates to a puzzle type game. comprising a set of parts to be assembled by juxtaposition and / or nesting in one way so as to reconstitute a flat plate whose face upper represents a predetermined image.
- the puzzle game is well known as a puzzle game. patience intended to reconstruct an image from of pieces, each of which is an element of the image to reconstruct. The goal of such a game is to develop children's intellectual qualities, such as the mind analysis and synthesis.
- the game consists for a young child at olfactory recognition of the different parts of the puzzle representing an image of a flower, a seashell or other pattern that can be associated with an odor, by placing a small container on the part recognized by the child, the opening of the container lid allowing the release e the smell corresponding to the image of the puzzle on which find the container.
- a puzzle type game associated with an event sound is described in patent FR-A-2629.731.
- Each piece of the puzzle has a portion of the electrical circuit to be achieved by placing all the parts, the connection between the parts being ensured by lugs protruding from the edges of the pieces.
- lugs protruding from the edges of the pieces.
- the object of the invention is to achieve a puzzle game in which the successful placement of parts closes an electrical circuit triggering a sound, visual or olfactory manifestation, the pieces do not with no apparent structural element allowing the player to place said pieces more easily on the support.
- the object of the invention is therefore a puzzle type game.
- a puzzle type game comprising a set of rigid parts which can be assembled by juxtaposition and / or nesting of a single so as to form a flat plate whose face upper represents a predetermined image, in which an electrically conductive circuit is closed when all parts have been properly assembled on a support.
- the conductive circuit includes a battery in series food and at least one manifestation element sensory which is activated by the electric current supplied by the battery when the circuit is closed.
- each of the parts whose assembly constitutes the underside of the plate is coated an electrically conductive layer and the assembly parts are made on said support of identical shape to the plate and having virtual locations corresponding to the rooms, each location being connected at two other locations by a conductive link of electricity except two end locations each connected to a single location so as to form the electrically conductive circuit bringing together all locations between the end locations when the parts were assembled.
- the game according to the invention is of the puzzle type consisting in bringing together by juxtaposition and / or nesting a number of parts generally made of cardboard, including the visible upper side is an element of a composite image by assembling all the elements in a way predetermined.
- the game has a support 10, of the same shape (generally rectangular) that the assembly made up of the pieces assemblies, on which the child comes to place his pieces in a unique way.
- each piece not visible on the support is shown in dotted lines in FIG. 1.
- Each room location for example location 12, is connected to two neighboring locations 14, 16, by a electrically conductive bond, for example of metal (copper, aluminum or other metal). So the bond conductor 18 connects location 12 to location 14, and link 20 connects location 12 to location 16.
- Each of the game pieces has its underside covered with an electrically conductive layer, by example in metal such as copper, aluminum or other metal.
- an electrically conductive layer by example in metal such as copper, aluminum or other metal.
- the puzzle plate with its image on the upper face is cut into its different parts. It is therefore easy to coat the underside of the plate with a metal layer before cutting.
- the conductive layer on the face lower part of the room then ensures the electrical connection with the two neighboring locations.
- all connections are made and form a circuit conductor between two end locations 22 and 24. Obviously, the support is made so that all the documents are necessary to establish the circuit between the two end locations.
- the end location 22 is connected by a connection 26 to the terminal of a supply battery 28, by example of 9 volts, the other terminal of which is connected to the switch 30 intended to be placed in the closed position at each time you start the game.
- the circuit closes at the connection 32 of the end piece 24 by means of element 34 used for a visual, sound manifestation or olfactory when the pieces of the puzzle have been placed correctly on the support 10.
- Element 34 when it triggers a manifestation sound, can be a simple sound generator that can play a single sound or melody, or a music player cassette providing image-related recording reconstructed.
- item 34 triggers a visual manifestation, it can be a simple indicator light or a screen displaying a luminous message of the "Won" type.
- the element 34 can trigger a release of odor or perfume in connection with the image reconstructed by the puzzle.
- the element 34 is a heating resistor located in a tank filled with animal or vegetable fat containing an aromatic or perfumery concentrate. When the resistance is supplied, it heats up and the rise in temperature in the container causes the release of the perfume or odor.
- the release of perfume or odor occurs under the action of an air flow 60 created for this purpose and along an odorous element 61 exhaling a perfume corresponding to the object represented by the completed puzzle.
- a wall of the casing 10 of the puzzle for example a side wall 62, is provided with an opening, in which is disposed a removable odorous element 61, for example in the form of a rod or a plastic pellet loaded with an odorous material.
- a removable odorous element 61 for example in the form of a rod or a plastic pellet loaded with an odorous material.
- the available pellets or rods have odors compatible with the objects represented by the puzzle, so that when it is finished, the corresponding smell is emitted, contributing to the olfactory education of the young child.
- a micro-fan 63 is placed inside the housing or support 10 of the puzzle, in the vicinity of the scent rod or pastille 61.
- the power supply of the micro-fan 63 is connected in the electrical circuit 64 of the parts. of the puzzle, so that the micro-fan 63 starts up as soon as the puzzle is finished.
- the upper wall 65 of the puzzle box is provided with a orifice 66 or a grid letting the air flow 60 of the micro-fan pass, charged with the smell of the lozenge or the fragrant wand.
- Elements in series 28, 30 and 34 can be in a compartment adjoining the support. But the way to arrange each of them with respect to the support is not decisive in the context of the invention.
- the conductive links connecting the locations of the parts on the support can be done in different ways. So we can predict the ends of the links have a protuberance ensuring better contact with the conductive layer found on the underside of the parts.
- Figure 2 shows a second mode of realization in which several sets of parts can be used in a similar way to what comes to be told.
- closing the circuit outside the support can be done according to several leads.
- the player has a busbar associated with all of pieces he has just chosen, and which he must place in a space provided for this purpose.
- the establishment of this busbar, for example 40 closes the circuit formed of the support between the two connections 26 and 32, the supply battery 28 and element 42, replacing this makes switch 30 of the previous embodiment (see figure 1).
- Element 42 is also related with the puzzle pieces.
- the busbar 40 to be installed to ensure the contact is marked "jasmine” and element 42 is then a heating resistance type container in animal or vegetable fat containing a concentrate of jasmine.
- the game may include several busbar / element assemblies event 40-42, 44-46, 48-50, 52-54, each elements 42, 46, 50 and 54 which can be a container for heating element containing a different scent, or a sound generator emitting a different melody, or any other sound, visual or olfactory manifestation.
- the invention makes it possible to produce a puzzle type game retaining the inherent qualities of puzzle, namely a development of qualities intellectual, while associating it with an interest complementary relating to the implementation of faculties sensory of the child.
