Claims (10)

  1. Ein durch die nachstehenden Schritte gekennzeichnetes thermisches Bilderzeugungsverfahren :
    (i) Inkontaktbringen einer Außenschicht eines Aufzeichnungsmaterials, das auf einem Träger zumindest ein wärmeempfindliches Element enthält, mit einer Heizquelle, wobei das wärmeempfindliche Element ein wesentlich lichtunempfindliches Silbersalz und ein Reduktionsmittel in thermischer wirksamer Beziehung dazu enthält,
    (ii) die bildmäßige Beaufschlagung des Aufzeichnungsmaterials mit von der Heizquelle gelieferter Wärme, wobei zwischen dem Aufzeichnungsmaterial und der Heizquelle ein gegenseitiger Kontakt, jedoch mit relativer Bewegung, aufrechterhalten wird, und
    (iii) die Abtrennung des Aufzeichnungsmaterials von der Heizquelle,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der dynamische Reibungskoeffizient während dem Kontakt zwischen der Außenschicht des Aufzeichnungsmaterials und der Heizquelle einen Höchstwert von weniger als 0,3 aufweist und das Verhältnis des Höchstwertes des dynamischen Reibungskoeffizienten zum Mindestwert des dynamischen Reibungskoeffizienten weniger als 1,9 beträgt.
  2. Thermisches Bilderzeugungsverfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Heizquelle ein Dünnfilmthermokopf ist.
  3. Thermisches Bilderzeugungsverfahren nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Außenschicht die Außenschicht des wärmeempfindlichen Elements ist.
  4. Thermisches Bilderzeugungsverfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Außenschicht eine auf das wärmeempfindliche Element aufgetragene Schutzschicht ist.
  5. Thermisches Bilderzeugungsverfahren nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Außenschicht ein hydrophiles Bindemittel enthält.
  6. Thermisches Bilderzeugungsverfahren nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Außenschicht vernetzt ist.
  7. Thermisches Bilderzeugungsverfahren nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Außenschicht ein Mattiermittel enthält.
  8. Thermisches Bilderzeugungsverfahren nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Außenschicht zumindest ein Gleitmittel enthält.
  9. Thermisches Bilderzeugungsverfahren nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Gleitmittel aus einer Gruppe bestehend aus Silikon-Derivaten, Polyolefinen, Fettsäure-Derivaten, Fettalkohol-Derivaten und Phosphorsäure-Derivaten gewählt wird.
  10. Thermisches Bilderzeugungsverfahren nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das wesentlich lichtunempfindliche Silbersalz ein wesentlich lichtunempfindliches organisches Silbersalz ist.
