Claims (6)

  1. An injection pump (4) for diesel engines with a pump piston (19) guided into the pump cylinder (22) which contains a widened foot (18) and is actuated by means of a rocker (3) driven by a camshaft (1), while its end on the pump side acts in combination, via an idler (15) directly with the foot area of the pump piston (19), which is characterised by the fact that on the rocker (3) away from its end on the pump side, a spring (11) is strained which tenses the rocker (3) against a cam (2) in the camshaft (1) and that the foot (18) and idler (15) are loosely connected with one another by way of a dog (20).
  2. An injection pump according to claim 1 which is characterised by the fact that the axial dimension of the idler (15) approximately corresponds to the diameter of the foot area of the pump piston (19) and that the foot area is shaped precisely in order to achieve line contact.
  3. An injection pump according to claim 1 which is characterised by the fact that the idler (15) is composed of an external (16) and internal roll (17) which are closely coaxially fitted into one another.
  4. An injection pump according to claim 1 which is characterised by the fact that the dog (15) is held on to the attached end of the rocker (3) and the widened foot (18) of the pump piston (19) reaches backwards with a drip pan (21).
  5. An injection pump according to claim 4 which is characterised by the fact that the foot (18) of the pump piston (19) is held with narrow backlash between the drip pan (21) and the idler (15).
  6. An injection pump according to claims 1 which is characterised by the fact that the dog (15) is coaxially placed with the idler (15) and is swivel-mounted at the rocker (3).
