Durch die Erfindung werden die Stillstandszeiten der Druckmaschine, die durch das Zusammenwirken der Waschvorrichtung mit der Trocknereinrichtung entstehen, spürbar reduziert. Vielmehr wird die Trocknerleistung von dem für den Druckprozeß vorher bestimmten Leistungswert auf einen festgelegten niedrigeren Leistungswert reduziert. Die Trocknereinrichtung bleibt dabei im Stand-by-Betrieb, während die Waschvorrichtung mit der Absaugeinrichtung aktiviert ist. Nach Beendigung des Reinigungsprozeßes (Waschvorrichtung und Absaugeinrichtung sind stillgesetzt) wird die Trocknereinrichtung aus dem Stand-by-Betrieb auf die vorher festgelegte Trocknerleistung hochgefahren. Im Stand-by-Betrieb ist die Trocknerleistung relativ gering, so daß keine Explosionsgefahr besteht, jedoch die Anlaufzeit zum Erreichen der vorher bestimmten Trocknerleistung relativ kurz ist.By means of the invention, the downtimes of the printing press caused by the interaction the washing device with the dryer device, noticeably reduced. Das Verfahren geht dabei von einer Waschvorrichtung aus, die an einem Druckmaschinenzylinder,
beispielsweise einem Gummituchzylinder, einem Formzylinder für ein Lackierwerk
oder einen Gegendruckzylinder an- und abstellbar ist. Der Waschvorrichtung ist eine
Absaugeinrichtung zugeordnet, die mit einer Saugquelle und mindestens einer Leitung ins
Freie gekoppelt ist. Der Waschvorrichtung ist weiterhin eine Trocknereinrichtung benachbart
angeordnet. Die Trocknereinrichtung ist dabei einem bogenführenden Zylinder zugeordnet.
Dies kann der Gegendruckzylinder oder auch ein Transferzylinder der Druckmaschine
sein. Im Druckbetrieb ist die Trocknereinrichtung aktiviert.
Soll jetzt der Reinigungsprozeß durchgeführt werden, so wird die Waschvorrichtung sowie
die Absaugeinrichtung aktiviert und gleichzeitig wird die Leistung der Trocknereinrichtung
auf einen Wert reduziert, der eine relativ geringe Wärmeentwicklung ermöglicht. Nach Ende
des Reinigungsprozeßes wird die Absaugeinrichtung stillgesetzt und gleichzeitig wird
die Leistung der Trockereinrichtung auf einen vorher festgelegten Wert erhöht. In bevorzugter
Ausführung ist der erste Wert der Leistung der Trocknereinrichtung für den Reinigungsprozeß
kleiner oder gleich 50% der Gesamttrocknerleistung. Der zweite Wert der
Trocknerleistung nach Beendigung des Reinigungsprozeßes ist größer 50%. Die Werte für
die Trocknerleistung sind über eine Steuerung frei wählbar.The invention will be explained using an exemplary embodiment.

Claims (3)
- Method for cleaning a cylinder of a rotary printing press with a washing device with fitted suction unit for the feeding away of cleaning fluid, aerosols and/or cleaning fluid vapours and which can be set on and off against the rotating cylinder, and a neighbouring activated dryer unit fitted to a sheet guiding cylinder, characterised in that at the beginning of the cleaning process, the washing device as well as the suction unit is actuated and simultaneously the power of the dryer unit is reduced to a fixed first value, so that the dryer unit operates in standby operation and that at the end of the cleaning process, the washing device as well as the suction device are rendered stationary and simultaneously the power of the dryer unit is raised from the standby operation to a fixed second value.
- Method according to Claim 1, characterised in that the fixed first value is < 50% of the power of the dryer unit.
- Method according to Claim 1, characterised in that the fixed second value is > 50% of the power of the dryer unit.
