  6. Running-rail arrangement according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the covering profile (5) is provided at least with one transverse web (33), preferably located beneath its top border, which, in the installed state, rests on the associated step (29) of the profiled running-rail carrier (11).
  7. Running-rail arrangement according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the covering profile (5) is provided with a longitudinally running transverse web (33) in each case beneath its top boundary and above its bottom boundary, the clear distance in between the two transverse webs (33) corresponding to the overall distance from the top to the bottom step (29) of the profiled running-rail carrier (11).
  8. Running-rail arrangement according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the height of the transverse web (33) corresponds to the height of the step (29).
  9. Running-rail arrangement according to one of Claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the covering profile (5) can be fitted onto the profiled running-rail carrier (11) until it is in full surface contact with the central wall section (13").
  10. Running-rail arrangement according to one of Claims 1 to 9, characterized in that a spacer (35) of different thicknesses can be introduced between the covering profile (5) and the adjacent wall section (13") of the profiled running-rail carrier (11).
  11. Running-rail arrangement according to Claim 10, characterized in that the covering profile (5) can be fixedly connected to the spacer (35) by means of an adhesive bond, and the spacer (35), in turn, can be fixedly connected to the adjacent wall of the profiled running-rail carrier (11) by a further adhesive bond.
  12. Running-rail arrangement according to one of Claims 1 to 11, characterized in that formed on the side which is directed towards the running rail (23), at least on the top longitudinal web (27), is an angled extension (41) in which a cover profile (43) can be introduced and anchored by way of rearward, oppositely oriented retaining angle (45).
  13. Running-rail arrangement according to Claim 12, characterized in that the cover profile (43) is also provided with a profile leg (47) which is supported on the adjacent wall of the profiled running-rail carrier (11), beneath the angled extension (41).
  14. Running-rail arrangement according to one of Claims 1 to 13, characterized in that a chamber (18') provided in the region of the double-walled profiled-carrier section (13), preferably the top chamber (18'), is provided with a running-rail-side longitudinal slot (53), the height of which is smaller than the height of the chamber (18'), and in that the cover profile (43) is fastened by means of screws which pass through the profile leg (47) of the cover profile (43) and can be screwed, via the longitudinal slot (53), into corresponding sliding blocks (51) which are introduced into the chamber (18') and have corresponding threaded bores, the height of the sliding blocks (51) being greater than the height of the longitudinal slot (53).
  15. Running-rail arrangement according to one of Claims 1 to 14, characterized in that formed on the profiled running-rail carrier (11) is a laterally projecting running-rail carrying section (19) in which there is formed a receiving groove (21) for receiving an exchangeable running rail (23).
  16. Running-rail arrangement according to Claim 15, characterized in that introduced in the receiving groove (21) is a damping body (25) into which, in turn, the running rail (23) is introduced.
  17. Running-rail arrangement according to Claim 15 or 16, characterized in that the running rail (23) has a 180°-rotational symmetry or 90°-rotational symmetry with at least two running-rail surfaces which are located opposite one another, preferably four running-rail surfaces which are offset by 90°.
