Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a shoe for sliding sports such as a skate of the type with in-line wheels obtained from an outer sole, intended to be made integral so removable or not from the upper plate of a chassis on which the wheels are arranged constituting the sliding member and from which the sole extends a rod covering the foot and extending in the direction of a skater's ankle.
  • This type of skate is intended for the training of ice skaters outside the rink, but also to all athletes wishing to maintain or improve on hard paved soil, cemented, etc. techniques used in board sports such as downhill skiing, cross-country skiing background, ice skating, etc.
  • a shoe of this type is known from US Patent No. 5,171,033. This describes a shoe having the particularity of being made from a rigid shell including an area bordering the sole has a plurality of ventilation openings opening into the internal volume of the hull. A bootie is freely placed in this shell so that the movements of the foot cause internal ventilation by cooperation between an action of pumping provided by the movement of the liner and said openings of the shell.
  • EP 117 372 shows a skate shoe specially designed for the practice of hockey.
  • the violence of this sport requires perfect protection of the foot, especially the forefoot while allowing a certain flexibility of the ankle.
  • the shoe described in this document presents a molded shell base surmounted by a portion of rod whose exterior is leather.
  • the lower part of the rod which takes up the classic construction of a shoe with molded shell, does not improve comfort, neither in terms of flexibility, nor in term of ventilation of the lower front part of the foot.
  • a skate shoe of the in-line wheel type obtained from an outer sole, intended to be made integral with the upper plate of a chassis on which are arranged the wheels and from which sole extends a rod covering the foot and extending towards the ankle of a skater, characterized in that the upper consists of a first part made of a relatively rigid material from the sole to form a low shell provided at its upper part with a longitudinal opening extending from a raised area forming a rear buttress up to '' near an opposite end end and a second part constituting a slap, made of a relatively flexible material attached and fixed on the periphery of the longitudinal opening of the low shell to come to cover a front -foot and contribute to achieve in association with said low shell, the upper of the shoe.
  • a rod construction achieves both the objectives of holding the foot by the low shell and comfort and lightness by the flexible rod part.
  • the present invention also relates to the characteristics which will emerge during the description which will follow, and which should be considered in isolation or in all their combinations possible techniques.
  • the inline skate 1 designated as a whole and shown in Figure 1 comprises a shoe 2 consisting of an outer sole 3 intended to be made integral with the upper plate 4 of a chassis 5 on which the wheels 6 are arranged, sole 3 from which extends a rod 7 covering the entire foot and extending towards the skater's ankle.
  • the sole 3 of the shoe 2 is made integral with the chassis 5 forming the upper plate horizontal 4 on which said sole 3 is fixed by means of fixing means, in the occurrence of the screws 8 passing through the plate 4 to be screwed into the lateral edges of the sole 3. It can also be fixed by rivets or other non-permanent fixing means.
  • the chassis 5 also includes a lower part perpendicular to the plate 4 along its axis longitudinal and for example constituted by two vertical lateral wings 10 parallel to each other and arranged on either side of the longitudinal axis.
  • the lateral wings 10 extend respectively at their upper part by a return perpendicular 11, each of them being directed outwards and constituting a plane defining the horizontal plate 4.
  • the vertical lateral wings 10 define generally with the sole 3 of the shoe 2, an inverted U between the wings of which are arranged a plurality of wheels 6, for example four in number, via the transverse hinge pins 12 secured to the chassis 4 to constitute a running gear.
  • Openwork 13 has the essential purpose of lightening the structure of the chassis 7 described above.
  • the rod 7 consists of a first part 14 made in a relatively rigid material from the sole 3 to form a low shell provided at its part upper of a longitudinal opening 15 extending from a raised area 16 forming a rear buttress near an opposite end end 17 and a second part 18 constituting a slap made of a relatively flexible material attached and fixed on the periphery of the longitudinal opening 15 of the lower shell 14 to cover a forefoot and contribute to achieving, in association with said low shell 14, the upper 7 of shoe 2.
  • the slap 18 is obtained from a piece of a relatively flexible material constituted by a fabric so as to provide both comfort and foot support.
  • the fabric constituting the flexible material in which the slab 18 is obtained is a large mesh fabric forming a net.
  • the lower shell 14 is made of a rigid plastic material for holding the foot optimum.
  • the central zone of the flexible slap 18 comprises a longitudinal slot 19 delimiting two transverse flaps 20 provided with clamping means 21 intended to act after introduction of the foot of a skater.
  • the tightening means 21 are constituted by laces arranged at in the traditional way, but may also be constituted for any other means such as hooks, hook-and-loop systems, etc.
  • the slap 18 is obtained from a piece of a relatively flexible material in which have been made side notches 22 starting from its lower peripheral edge 18 a and directed towards its longitudinal axis in a direction substantially perpendicular thereto, in order to obtain a softening and a lightening of the rod 7, while retaining the necessary foot support and also providing a certain ventilation of the foot, in the manner of a sandal, whose lateral tabs 23 from a central zone 24 and demarcating said notches 22 cooperate fastener 25 at their free ends with a peripheral edge 14a of the longitudinal opening 15 of the lower shell 14.
  • Connection means 26 are arranged between the lower peripheral edge 18 a of the vamp 18 and the upper peripheral edge 14a of the lower shell 14.
  • These means 26 may be constituted by a peripheral seam joining the lower edge 18 a of said slap 18 and the upper edge 14 a of said lower shell 14, or by other fixing means such as rivets, glue, etc. .
  • the rod 7 is a low rod not extending in height beyond the rear buttress 16, and comprising an articulation 27 disposed near the upper ends 16 has side walls of the rear buttress 16 of the lower shell 14 for receiving a clamp 28 for clamping a lower leg, said collar 28 extending upwards from its articulation 27, beyond the upper end 16 a of the rod 7.
  • This collar 28 is obtained from a semi-rigid plastic material and allows lateral or holding in transverse direction of the rod while retaining the freedom of flexion movement of the foot / ankle joint.
  • the rod 7 formed by the low shell 14, the slap 18 or the collar 28 comprises at least one element of internal comfort.
  • the internal comfort element consists of a one-piece liner 29 slidably removed inside the upper 7, said liner 29 consisting of a first lower and rear part 30 corresponding substantially to the lower shell 14 and extending towards the high to form the rear zone 31 of the collar 28 and of a second front part or tongue 32 rigidly secured to the first part 30, 31 and corresponding substantially to the slap 18.
  • This boot thus formed is for example made of polyurethane foam and the fact of being removable will allow it in known manner, to be removed from the shoe to be dried or washed.
  • the internal comfort element is consisting of two distinct parts 32 and 33, one of which 32 is a liner fixedly fixed at the interior of the lower rod 7 constituted by the lower shell 14 and the slap 18 and the other 33 of which is a padding of the articulated collar 28 which constitutes the upper part of the rod 7 and to which it is returned solidarity.
  • the liner 32 comprises on its part substantially corresponding to the slap 18 of the rod 7, an elastic zone 34 capable of promoting the introduction of the foot and allow ventilation thereof through openings 35 therein practice.
  • the element comfort shown in Figure 3 consists of three parts 36, 37 and 38, the first 36, corresponding to the internal volume of the lowermost shell 14, is freely disposed therein and in fact constitutes an insole in the form of a shell; of which the second 37 corresponding to the slap 18 and conforming to its outline, is an element of padding which is integral with it; and of which the third 38 corresponding to the articulated collar 28 constituting the upper part of the rod 7 is also an element padding attached thereto.
  • the second part 37 of the comfort element performing the padding of the slap 18 comprises notches 39 corresponding to the notches 22 of said slap 18.
  • the shoe 2A as shown in Figure 4 differs primarily from the previous in that the low shell 14A is molded from a rigid plastics material, at the upper peripheral edge 14A which has were performed starting notches 22A of said edge and directed substantially perpendicular thereto towards the sole 3 in order to obtain a softening and a lightening of the rod 7A, lateral tabs 23A delimited by said notches 22A cooperating in fixing by their free ends 40 with an edge lower device 18A has slap 18A.
