Werden besonders schmal bauende Querverbinder 3 eingesetzt, müssen die doppellagigen, in der Ebene der Querleiste der schmal bauenden Querverbinder 3 liegenden Flachstecker 6 mit der Stromschiene 4 elektrisch leitend kontaktiert werden, die ihrerseits innerhalb der Reihenklemme deren Leiteranschlüsse 5 elektrisch leitend miteinander verbinden, mit der Stromnschiene 4 elektrisch leitend kontaktiert werden. Dabei ist bei Verwendung dieser schmal bauenden Querverbinder 3 vorgesehen, in der Aufnahme 2 zwei parallel zueinander anzuordnende Querverbinder 3 einzusetzen, um bezüglich der Potentialverteilung durch die Querverbindung so flexibel wie möglich zu sein. Zweckmäßig werden dabei ein rechter und ein linker Kanal für die beiden parallelen Querverbinder 3 mit einer Orientierungshilfe definiert. In besonders zweckmäßiger Ausgestaltung sind hierzu schmale Mittelstege 7 vorgesehen, die in ihrem unteren Bereich seitlich versetzt oberhalb der Stromschienen 4 enden. Sie liegen in der Nähe des Randbereiches des Gehäuses 1 und definieren mit den Schmalseiten ihrer nach oben vorstehenden Mittenbereiche einen rechten und einen linken Aufnahmekanal innerhalb der Aufnahme 2. Im Ausführungsbeispiel nach Figur 2 ist nur der linke Aufnahmekanal mit einem schmalen Querverbinder 3 besetzt dargestellt.
