Definitions
- the invention relates to a mechanical toggle press with the top arranged drive, which two opposite and angularly synchronous rotatable drive cranks and two associated toggle lever systems has, via which the press ram in the press stand relative to Press table can be raised and lowered, each drive crank attacks the associated knee lever system in the knee joint area and the press ram each having a lower end joint of these toggle lever systems via a fork head and an adjusting spindle height-adjustable connection.
- a toggle press with a two-part press ram in which an inner Plunger performs the actual forming and an outer plunger e.g. to be reshaped Sheet metal is jammed, is also known from US-A 1,993,639. Also here the horizontal forces that occur are first introduced into the press ram, and with eccentric connecting rod forces there is a defined one Emigration movement to one side and to a side berth. This is also not by connecting the outer toggle lever systems by means of a Coupling rod prevented, because this coupling causes only one internal strut of the drive system, which is otherwise completely free in the Press lies.
- toggle presses of this type they are the press ram protruding fork heads of the adjusting spindles mounted in it each in a pot arranged on the press ram led to prevent that coming from the press drive Lateral forces adversely on the in and on the press ram housed actuators for the adjusting spindles can.
- a disadvantage of this known construction is that the interaction of the fork heads of the adjusting spindles with the pots of the press ram caused by the latter tipping forces introduced into the press stand during its working movement become.
- the resulting from the tipping forces of the press ram Stresses on the press stand can at least after one certain operating times his leadership qualities for the press ram affect, if care is not taken to ensure that the Press stamp in the area of its guides for the press ram a significantly strengthened and therefore costly design receives.
- each toggle system has two parallel knee joints has a connecting rod or a common bearing base Have push rod, on which or which on the other hand one of the Drive cranks attacks.
- the common storage base for the section of the toggle system forming the two knee joints Connecting rods or the push rod can be designed as a fork piece both levers coupled with this in a common effective level become. This advantageously results in a relative to completely symmetrical toggle lever system in its middle plane of action, that can take up high damage without damage.
- the invention provides that the coupling of two at a distance cheeks arranged parallel to each other, which on the lower End joint pin of both toggle lever systems near each attack the ends facing away from each other. Apart from this, that this measure facilitates the construction and installation of the paddock , it connects the two toggle lever systems together symmetrical arrangement to their effective level and thereby provides sure that horizontal forces emanating from these are also symmetrical to these planes of action and at the same time in a relatively large area into the stand-fixed ones Guide and support crossbars can be initiated.
- the invention also provides that the adjusting spindles associated actuators on brackets of the press ram rest, which is also a support base for a ram weight compensation system can form, which on a traverse of the Press stand rests and on the one hand at least one rubber bellows support cylinder and on the other hand one in fluid communication with it held pressure expansion tank includes.
- This ram weight compensation system its mode of action is particularly similar to that Air suspensions often used in vehicle construction.
- the mechanical toggle press 1 shown in the drawing has a press stand, for example, in a welded plate construction 2.
- This has two identical designs and one to the other parallel trolleys 3 and 4, each with a window opening 5 and 6 is provided. They are interconnected outer side walls 3 and 4 of the press stand 2 each at least two transverse cheeks 7 and 8, which are close to the upright boundary edges the window sections 5 and 6 are located in extend at right angles to the outer side cheeks 3 and 4.
- the press stand 2 essentially at least in some areas box-shaped design, but in the area of the window cutouts 5 and 6 of the two outer upright cheeks 3 and 4 as well as in the area of window sections of the transverse cheeks 7 and 8 is open.
- the press stand 2 has two additional stand cheeks 9 and 10, which are parallel to the outer upright cheeks 3 and 4 aligned and with these at least above and below through crossbars 47 are connected.
- the clear distance 11 between the two additional stand cheeks 9 and 10 correspond to only one Fraction of the clear distance 12 between the two outer ones Stand cheeks 3 and 4.
- the distances 11 and 12 are preferably to each other in a ratio of about 1: 3, with the installation levels for the additional stand cheeks 9 and 10 symmetrical to the vertical between the two outer upright cheeks 3 and 4
- Main longitudinal median plane 13-13 are arranged like that 2 and 3 of the drawing clearly show.
- window sections 5 and 6 on the outer stand cheeks 3 and 4 and also the additional stand cheeks 9 and 10 of the (not shown) fixed press table mounted can serve the upper part of these window sections 5 and 6 laterally delimiting, vertical edge sections 14 and 15 of the Formation or attachment of vertical guides for a press ram 16, which is relative to the press stand 2 and the therein Mount the press table so that it can be raised and lowered.
- the drive for the press ram 16 is in the press stand 2 above arranged.
- This drive has two opposite and angularly synchronous Drive cranks 17 and rotatably mounted in the press stand 18 on, which are constructed identically and of which the drive crank 17 in Fig. 3 of the drawing can be clearly seen.
- Fig. 3 the Drawing also shows that the bearing 19 for each of the Drive cranks 17 and 18 in the additional stand cheeks 9 and 10 are located. It is advantageous that each of the drive cranks 17 and 18 required only a relatively small overall length and therefore easily manufactured in a dimensionally stable design.
- Each drive crank 17 and 18 works via a connecting rod or a Push rod 20 or 21 with its own toggle lever system 22 or 23 together, which is suspended on the one hand in the press stand 2 and on the other hand attacks on the press ram 16.
- Each of the toggle systems 22 and 23 has an upper lever 24 and a lower lever 25, the upper lever 24 via one forming the upper end joint Bolts 26 in fixed bearings 27 between the additional Stand cheeks 9 and 10 is suspended, as clearly shown in FIG. 2 can be removed.
- the lower lever 25 engages over as lower end joint serving bolt 28 on a clevis 29, the forms the upper end of an adjusting spindle 30, which in turn by an actuator 31 adjustable in height on the press ram 16 connected.
- Each of the toggle lever systems 22 and 23 still have two parallel knee joints, the bolts 32 and 33 a common bearing base in a fork piece 34 of the connecting rod or Have push rod 20 or 21.
- the upper lever 24 engages each Toggle lever system 22 or 23 within the fork piece 34 on the bolt 32 on, while the lever 25 in the fork piece 34 by the bolt 33 is held.
- toggle lever system 22 can be seen from the toggle lever system 22 that this overall to the main vertical longitudinal median plane 13-13 of Press stand 2 is symmetrical and its installation space has between the two additional stand cheeks 9 and 10.
- the small construction width of the toggle lever systems 22 and 23 and their Symmetrical design makes it possible to use both the end joints acting bolts 26 and 28 as well as those acting as knee joints Bolts 32 and 33 each have a relatively short dimension and thus the entire toggle system 22 or 23 to give a high rigidity.
- the peculiarity of the toggle press shown in the drawing 1 is that the two bolts 28 each have a Clevis 29 with the two adjusting spindles 30 coupled lower End joints of both toggle systems 22 and 23 together by a extending normal to the direction of movement of the press ram 16 Coupling 35 are connected, in particular in FIGS. 1 and 2 and 4 and 5 can be seen.
- the ends turned away from each other 36 and 37 of this coupling 35 lie against stationary guide and support beams 38 and 39.
- the guide and support beams 38 and 39 are between the additional stand cheeks 9 and 10 of the press stand 2 arranged and are fixed together by this connected, as is clear from Fig. 5.
- adjusting spindles 30 associated actuators 31 on from the press ram 16 cantilevered consoles 42 rest, preferably through window openings in the transverse cheeks 7 and 8 of the press stand 2 to the outside protrude.
- These brackets 42 can also be a support base form for a ram weight compensation system 43, which on a crossbar 44 rests in the press stand 2 and on the one hand a rubber bellows support cylinder 45 and on the other hand one in Connected surge tank 46 includes.
- This Ram weight compensation system 43 works approximately on the principle the air suspension mainly used in vehicle construction, can thus be different in its operating behavior Coordinate operating conditions.

Description
The invention relates to a mechanical toggle press with the top arranged drive, which two opposite and angularly synchronous rotatable drive cranks and two associated toggle lever systems has, via which the press ram in the press stand relative to Press table can be raised and lowered, each drive crank attacks the associated knee lever system in the knee joint area and the press ram each having a lower end joint of these toggle lever systems via a fork head and an adjusting spindle height-adjustable connection.
The aforementioned disadvantages also lie with one that has become known from US Pat. No. 3,524,405 Toggle press. This has a two-part plunger and works without drive cranks. Rather, the toggle levers become linear by means of Hydraulic cylinder acted on.
A toggle press with a two-part press ram, in which an inner Plunger performs the actual forming and an outer plunger e.g. to be reshaped Sheet metal is jammed, is also known from US-A 1,993,639.
In known toggle presses of this type, they are the press ram protruding fork heads of the adjusting spindles mounted in it each in a pot arranged on the press ram led to prevent that coming from the press drive Lateral forces adversely on the in and on the press ram housed actuators for the adjusting spindles can.
A disadvantage of this known construction, however, is that the interaction of the fork heads of the adjusting spindles with the pots of the press ram caused by the latter tipping forces introduced into the press stand during its working movement become. The resulting from the tipping forces of the press ram Stresses on the press stand can at least after one certain operating times his leadership qualities for the press ram affect, if care is not taken to ensure that the Press stamp in the area of its guides for the press ram a significantly strengthened and therefore costly design receives.
It is the object of the invention on a mechanical toggle press with the features specified at the beginning, if possible simple arrangements to ensure that those in the Toggle presses not only effective horizontal forces enter the press stand via the press ram, but rather can be initiated in the shortest possible way and the press ram only those from the press tool resulting forces has to absorb.
- that the end joints of the two toggle lever systems carrying the adjusting spindles are connected to one another by a coupling which extends normally to the direction of movement of the press ram,
- that the ends of these couplings which face away from one another rest against guide and support beams which are fixed to the stand, and
- that the guide and support crossbars extend above the likewise fixed ram guides parallel to vertical axis planes through the lower end joints of the toggle lever systems.
Since the coupling to the die at a distance above the press ram lower end joints of the fork heads receiving the toggle lever systems of the two adjusting spindles and securing the specified Center distance between the lower end joints of the two Knee lever systems between the fixed guide and support beams is held, come via the adjusting spindles on the press ram essentially only vertical forces resulting from the drive to the effect. Tipping forces can therefore only on the press ram insofar as they arise from the arrangement, training and the operation of the built-in between the press ram and the press table Press tool result. One therefore comes with an essential simplified and therefore correspondingly inexpensive design for the press stand.
A design of the toggle press has proven itself according to the invention, where each toggle system has two parallel knee joints has a connecting rod or a common bearing base Have push rod, on which or which on the other hand one of the Drive cranks attacks. If the the common storage base for the section of the toggle system forming the two knee joints Connecting rods or the push rod can be designed as a fork piece both levers coupled with this in a common effective level become. This advantageously results in a relative to completely symmetrical toggle lever system in its middle plane of action, that can take up high damage without damage.
The invention provides that the coupling of two at a distance cheeks arranged parallel to each other, which on the lower End joint pin of both toggle lever systems near each attack the ends facing away from each other.
An important design feature of the toggle press according to the invention is also that the press stand above the Movement range of the press ram two additional inside Stands cheeks, the distance from each other only a fraction of the distance between the parallel outer ones Stand cheeks corresponds and that each of these additional Stand cheeks both bearings for the drive cranks and bearings for the upper end joints of the toggle lever systems. It is because this not only possible, relatively short and thus to use dimensionally stable drive cranks, but even the toggle lever systems only need to train the joints relatively short and therefore rigid bolts.
It has proven useful if the distance between the two additional ones Stand cheeks about a third of the distance between the corresponds to parallel outer upright cheeks and on the one hand the length of the offset area of the drive cranks is limited and on the other hand also for the maximum construction dimensions of the Coupling is determining. It has been shown that relatively low stator weight a very rigid design of the entire Toggle press can be reached.
Finally, the invention also provides that the adjusting spindles associated actuators on brackets of the press ram rest, which is also a support base for a ram weight compensation system can form, which on a traverse of the Press stand rests and on the one hand at least one rubber bellows support cylinder and on the other hand one in fluid communication with it held pressure expansion tank includes. This ram weight compensation system its mode of action is particularly similar to that Air suspensions often used in vehicle construction.

The peculiarity of the toggle press shown in the
With the help of the
2 and 5 that the
Einsatzbedingungen abstimmen. From Fig. 1 of the drawing it can still be seen that the adjusting
