Claims (7)

  1. Verfahren zur Steuerung eines Kathodolumineszenz- Bildschirms, welcher Anoden (9), Kathoden (2) und Gitter bzw. Gates (3) umfasst, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es zwischen Bilderzeugungsphasen Regenerationsphasen (Td) vorsieht, während welchen sich wenigstens ein Teil der Anoden auf niedrigem Potential befindet, derart dass sie keine Elektroden anziehen, und die entsprechenden Kathoden in einen Elektronenemissions-Zustand vorgespannt sind
  2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, bei welchem während der Regenerationsphasen sämtliche Anoden sich auf dem niedrigen Potential befinden und die Gitter bzw Gates in den genannten Elektronenemissions-Zustand vorgespannt sind.
  3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, bei welchem der Bildschirm einer mit Mikrospitzen (Mikrospitzen-Bildschirm) ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jede Anode jeweils in zwei gesondert adressierbare Teile unterteilt ist, dass die Regenerationsphasen jeweils an einem ersten Teil ausgeführt werden, während sich ein Bild an einem anderen Teil in Aufbau befindet, und dass während einer Regenerationsphase der erste Anodenteil sich auf dem genannten niedrigen Potential befindet und die Mikrospitzen und gegenüberstehenden Gitter bzw. Gates in den genannten Emissionszustand vorgespannt sind.
  4. Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die genannte Regenerationsphase jeweils zwischen aufeinanderfolgende Einzel- bzw. Rasterteilbilder der Bilderzeugung zwischengeschaltet ist.
  5. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass während der genannten Regenerationsphase die Gitter-bzw. Gatezeilen aufeinanderfolgend-sequentiell vorgespannt werden, während die Kathodenspalten in den genannten Emissionszustand vorgespannt sind
  6. Verfahren nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die sequentielle Vorspannung in Gruppen von Gitter-bzw Gatezeilen erfolgt.
  7. Verfahren nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Gitter bzw Gates aufeinanderfolgend-sequentiell und in Überlappung vorgespannt werden.
