Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung, insbesondere zum Anbringen an raumbegrenzenden Flächen, mit einem ersten Dämpfungselement für tiefe Schallfrequenzen und einem zweiten Dämpfungselement für hohe Schallfrequenzen, wobei das erste Dämpfungselement einen Plattenabsorber und ein Abstandselement umfaßt und das Abstandselement zur beabstandeten Anordnung des Plattenabsorbers zu einer raumbegrenzenden Fläche auf einer Seite des Plattenabsorbers angeordnet ist, wobei das zweite Dämpfungselement einen auf der anderen Seite des Plattenabsorbers angeordneten porösen Absorber aufweist und wobei das Abstandselement und der poröse Absorber aus einem Kunstschaumstoff bestehen.
Zur Bedämpfung von akustischen Räumen wie beispielsweise Tonstudios aber auch Windkanalanlagen sind Schalldämpfungsvorrichtungen zum Anbringen an raumbegrenzenden Flächen wie Wänden und Dekken bekannt.
Zur Schalldämpfung werden bisher aufwendige Keilstrukturen mit etwa 60 bis 120 cm langen Keilen verwendet, die an Wänden und Decken von zu bedämpfenden Räumen angebracht werden. Diese vorwiegend aus Schaumstoff bestehenden Keile ragen entsprechend ihrer durch die Schallwellenlängen bedingten Länge etwa 1 m weit in den Raum hinein.
Es sind auch flachausgebildete Schalldämpfungsvorrichtungen bekannt, die ebenfalls an Wänden und Decken von akustischen Räumen angebracht werden. Derartige flache Schalldämpfungsvorrichtungen umfassen grundsätzlich einen porösen Absorber und einen Helmholtz-Resonator.
In der US-A 2,169,370 ist ein flachausgebildeter schallabsorbierender Artikel offenbart, der ein erstes Dämpfungselement für tiefe Schallfrequenzen und ein zweites Dämpfungselement für hohe Schallfrequenzen umfaßt. Dabei ist das erste Dämpfungselement durch ein Abstandselement beabstandet zu einer Fläche, an der der schallabsorbierende Artikel befestigt wird, angeordnet. Somit wird zwischen den Dämpfungselementen und der Fläche ein Hohlraum geschaffen. Bei dem ersten Dämpfungselement handelt es sich um eine Membran, während das zweite Dämpfungselement aus porösem Material besteht.
In der FR-A 1,352,581 ist weiterhin ein Schallschutzartikel beschrieben, bei dem zwei Dämpfungselemente vorgesehen sind. Diese Dämpfungselemente sind über einen Abstandhalter an einer Wand befestigt. Durch diese Konstruktion wird durch das Dämpfungselement, den Abstandhalter und die Wand ein Hohlraum eingeschlossen.
Die FR.A.1352581 stellt eine Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung dar, die die Merkmale des Oberbegriffes des Anspruchs 1 aufweist.
Aus der WO-A 94/24382 ist schließlich eine Unterdecke zur Absorption von Schallwellen bekannt, bei der ein poröses Material mit einer Deckenmembran verbunden ist.
Ausgehend vom genannten Stand der Technik liegt der Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung der eingangs genannten Art derart weiterzubilden, so daß diese in der Raumtiefe wenig Platz verbraucht und über einen breitwandigen Frenqenzbereich schalldämpfend wirkt. Darüber hinaus soll sie einfach und kostengünstig herstellbar sein.
Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß eine Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung, insbesondere zum Anbringen an raumbegrenzenden Flächen vorgeschlagen, bei der der Kunstschaumstoff des Abstandselements und des porösen Absorbers ein offenzelliger Kunstschaumstoff ist und daß eine das Abstandselement seitlich umgebende Umhüllung vorgesehen ist. Durch diese erfindungsgemäße Ausgestaltung einer Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung werden platzaufwendige Keilstrukturen vermieden. Die erfindungsgemäße Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung ist besonders einfach aus zwei Dämpfungselementen aufgebaut, wobei das erste Dämpfungselement zur Absorption von unterhalb von 500 Hz liegenden Schallfrequenzen dient. Das auf dem ersten Dämpfungselement angeordnete zweite Dämpfungselement dämpft darüberliegende Schallfrequenzen durch Reibungs- und andere Energieverluste. Die erfindungsgemäße Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung zeichnet sich durch eine kompakte Bauweise und insbesondere durch eine glatte Oberfläche aus. Raumverluste werden dadurch gering gehalten. Bei einer Verwendung in Windkanalanlagen werden durch die erfindungsgemäße Ausgestaltung die bisher durch die Keilstrukturen bedingten Strömungsverluste verringert.
In vorteilhafter Ausgestaltung der Erfindung ist das Abstandselement rahmenförmig ausgebildet und der auf dem Abstandselement angeordnete Plattenabsorber schließt mit der Wand- oder Deckenfläche einen Hohlraum ein. Die Ausgestaltung der Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung mit einem zur raumbegrenzenden Fläche hin liegenden Hohlraum bewirkt eine besonders gute Dämpfung von tiefen Schallfrequenzen.
In weiterer Ausgestaltung der Erfindung besteht der Plattenabsorber aus einem biegeweichen Material. Dadurch wird die Schalldämpfung im tiefen Frequenzbereich weiter verbessert.
In vorteilhafter Ausgestaltung der Erfindung ist der Plattenabsorber eine geschlossene Kunststoffolie, insbesondere eine Folie aus Polyurethan.
In besonders vorteilhafter Ausgestaltung der Erfindung beträgt die Dikke des Plattenabsorbers zwischen 20 µm und 200 µm. Als besonders vorteilhaft erweist sich eine Dicke des Plattenabsorbers von 25 µm bis 50 µm.
Erfindungsgemäß besteht das Abstandselement aus einem offenzelligen Kunstschaumstoff, wie z.B. Polyurethan- oder Melaminharzschaumstoff.
In Ausgestaltung der Erfindung beträgt die Dicke des Abstandselements etwa 100 mm.
Eine vorteilhafte Ausführungsform der Erfindung sieht vor, daß die seitliche Umhüllung aus Blech ist.
In weiterer Ausgestaltung der Erfindung besteht der poröse Absorber aus einem offenzelligen Kunstschaumstoff, wie Polyurethan- oder Melaminharzschaumstoff.
In besonders vorteilhafter Ausgestaltung der Erfindung ist auf der schallzugewandten Fläche des porösen Absorbers eine gelochte Folie vorgesehen. Durch eine derartige Folie werden die Absorptionscharakteristika der Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung für hohe Frequenzen nicht beeinträchtigt. Dabei ist ein Lochflächenanteil der gelochten Folie von 20 bis 80 % vorteilhaft. Als besonders vorteilhaft erweist sich ein Lochflächenanteil von 30 bis 50 %.
In weiterer Ausgestaltung der Erfindung ist der poröse Absorber im wesentlichen quaderförmig und weist eine Dicke von etwa 130 mm auf.
Die Erfindung wird anhand eines in der Zeichnung dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiels im folgenden näher dargestellt und erläutert.

Figur 1 zeigt eine Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung 1, die an einer raumbegrenzenden Fläche 6 (Wand oder Decke) angebracht ist. Die Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung 1 umfaßt zwei Dämpfungselemente.
Das erste Dämpfungselement für tiefe Schallfrequenzen weist ein rahmenförmiges Abstandselement 2 sowie einen auf dem Abstandselement 2 angeordneten Plattenabsorber 3 auf. Das Abstandselement 2 ist an der raumbegrenzenden Fläche 6 beispielsweise durch Verkleben angebracht. Durch das rahmenförmige Abstandselement 2 und dem darauf (beispielsweise durch Verkleben) angeordneten Plattenabsorber 3 wird mit der raumbegrenzenden Fläche 6 ein mit Luft gefüllter Hohlraum 5 eingeschlossen. Das Abstandselement 2 besteht aus einem Schaumstoff, insbesondere einem offenzelligen Schaumstoff, wie beispielsweise Polyurethan- oder Melaminharzschaumstoff. Der Plattenabsorber 3 besteht aus einem biegeweichen Material, vorteilhafterweise aus einer Kunststoffolie. Durch diese erfindungsgemäße Ausgestaltung des ersten Dämpfungselements werden Schallfrequenzen unterhalb von etwa 500 Hz durch den biegeweichen Plattenabsorber 3 und den zur raumbegrenzenden Fläche 6 liegenden Hohlraum 5 gedämpft. Das Abstandselement 2 kann, wie in der Figur dargestellt, seitlich von einer Umhüllung 7 umgeben sein. Durch diese Umhüllung 7, die beispielsweise ein dünner Metall- oder Blechstreifen oder dergleichen sein kann, wird die Absorptionsqualität des ersten Dämpfungselements weiter verbessert, und es erfolgt eine Abgrenzung gegenüber angrenzenden weiteren Schalldämpfungsvorrichtungen.
Das zweite Dämpfungselement der erfindungsgemäßen Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung 1 ist direkt auf dem Plattenabsorber 3, beispielsweise durch Verkleben, angebracht und umfaßt im wesentlichen einen porösen Absorber 4 aus Schaumstoff, insbesondere aus einem offenzelligen Kunstschaumstoff wie Polyurethan- oder Melaminharzschaumstoff. Auf seiner dem Schall zugewandten Fläche kann der poröse Absorber 4, wie dargestellt, eine mit Löchern 9 versehene Folie 8 aufweisen. Der Lochflächenanteil dieser gelochten Folie 8 beträgt 20 bis 80 %. Als besonderes vorteilhaft hat sich ein Lochflächenanteil von 30 bis 50 % erwiesen.
In dem zweiten Dämpfungselement der erfindungsgemäßen Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung werden oberhalb von 500 Hz liegende Schallfrequenzen durch Reibungs- und andere Energieverluste in dem porösen Absorber 4 bedämpft.
Die Dicke des Abstandselements 2 beträgt etwa 100 mm, die des porösen Absorbers 4 etwa 130 mm. Da die als Plattenabsorber 3 dienende Kunststoffolie maximal nur 200 µm, vorteilhafterweise nur 50 µm dick ist, verfügt die gesamte Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung über eine Dicke von nur etwa 230 mm. Damit ist, verglichen mit den sonst üblichen etwa 1 m langen Teilstrukturen ein deutlicher Raumgewinn verbunden, so daß die zu bedämpfenden akustischen Räume durch eine Ausstattung mit erfindungsgemäßen Schalldämpfungsvorrichtungen mehr Platz bieten, bzw. von vornherein kleiner gebaut werden können. Eine Anwendung der erfindungsgemäßen Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung in Windkanalanlagen bietet sich an, da durch die ebene, parallel zur raumbegrenzenden Fläche verlaufende Oberfläche die Strömungsverluste gering gehalten werden.
Die erfindungsgemäße Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung dämpft entsprechend der nachfolgend wiedergegebenen Ergebnisse einer Meßreihe Schall in einem breitbandigen Frequenzbereich. Bei dieser Meßreihe wurde der Schallabsorptionsgrad nach DIN 52212 bestimmt. Die Dikke des porösen Absorbers 4 aus Basotect betrug 130 mm, die Dicke des Plattenabsorbers 3 betrug 50 µm und die Dicke des eingeschlossenen Hohlraums 5 betrug 100 mm. Die Prüffläche betrug 9,8 m2, der ausgemessene Hallraum hatte ein Volumen von 210 m3. Gemessen wurde der Schallabsorptionsgrad αs über der Frequenz f in Hz.

Wie aus diesem Meßergebnis ersichtlich ist, ist der Schallabsorptionsgrad αs über einen breiten Frequenzbereich von 200 Hz bis 5000 Hz durchweg größer als 1. Erst unterhalb von etwa 180 Hz fällt der Schallabsorptionsgrad unterhalb von 1. Diese Meßergebnisse sind in Figur 2 in einem Balkendiagramm graphisch dargestellt, wobei auf der Abszisse die Frequenz in Hz und auf der Ordinate der Schallabsorptionsgrad αs aufgetragen sind.

Claims (16)

  1. Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung, insbesondere zum Anbringen an raumbegrenzenden Flächen, mit einem ersten Dämpfungselement für tiefe Schallfrequenzen und einem zweiten Dämpfungselement für hohe Schallfrequenzen, wobei das erste Dämpfungselement einen Plattenabsorber (3) und ein Abstandselement (2) umfaßt und das Abstandselement (2) zur beabstandeten Anordnung des Plattenabsorbers (3) zu einer raumbegrenzenden Fläche (6), auf einer Seite des Plattenabsorbers (3) angeordnet ist, wobei das zweite Dämpfungselement einen auf der anderen Seite des Plattenabsorbers (3) angeordneten porösen Absorber (4) aufweist und wobei das Abstandselement (2) und der poröse Absorber (4) aus einem Kunstschaumstoff bestehen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Kunstschaumstoff des Abstandselements (2) und des porösen Absorbers (4) ein offenzelliger Kunstschaumstoff ist und daß eine das Abstandselement (2) seitlich umgebende Umhüllung (7) vorgesehen ist.
  2. Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Abstandselement (2) rahmenförmig ausgebildet ist und daß der auf dem Abstandselement (2) angeordnete Plattenabsorber (3) mit der raumbegrenzenden Fläche (6) einen Hohlraum (5) einschließt.
  3. Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Plattenabsorber (3) aus biegeweichem Material besteht.
  4. Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Plattenabsorber (3) eine geschlossene Kunststoffolie ist.
  5. Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kunststoffolie eine Polyurethanfolie ist.
  6. Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Dicke des Plattenabsorbers (3) zwischen 20 µm und 200 µm beträgt.
  7. Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Dicke des Plattenabsorbers (3) 25 µm bis 50 µm beträgt.
  8. Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Abstandselement (2) aus Polyurethan- oder Melaminharzschaumstoff besteht.
  9. Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Dicke des Abstandselements (2) etwa 100 mm beträgt.
  10. Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Umhüllung (7) aus Blech ist.
  11. Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der poröse Absorber (4) aus Polyurethan- oder Melaminharzschaumstoff besteht.
  12. Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß auf der schall-zugewandten Fläche des Plattenabsorbers (4) eine gelochte Folie (8) vorgesehen ist.
  13. Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die gelochte Folie (8) einen Lochflächenanteil von 20 bis 80 % aufweist.
  14. Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Lochflächenanteil 30 bis 50 % beträgt.
  15. Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der poröse Absorber (4) im wesentlichen quaderförmig ist.
  16. Schalldämpfungsvorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Dicke des porösen Absorbers (4) etwa 130 mm beträgt.
