Description

The present invention relates generally to an assembly modular electrical devices usable in distributed distribution, comprising a plurality of operator modules each intended for perform a specific electrical function and having a front face from which one or more movable control elements make protrudes outward and can move substantially parallel to said front face.

A conventional distributed distribution generally comprises, of a share a distribution path that extends in a straight line, for example the along a wall, and which includes several continuous electrical conductors, parallel and longitudinal, and on the other hand several electrical devices each of which can be connected to the distribution channel, in one place any along this path.

It is also known to constitute an assembly of modular electrical devices in which the modular electrical devices are divided into a first group of devices each of which constitutes a circuit breaker module and a second group of devices each of which constitutes an operator module which can optionally train a circuit breaker, a differential protection block, a remote control, a circuit breaker control by current emission, a circuit breaker control by undervoltage or any electrical auxiliary, from which it follows that a person can arrange on the distribution channel electrical equipment by connecting to this distribution channel:
  • a circuit breaker module selected from said first group of modular devices; and
  • an operator module of his choice taken from said second group of modular devices, the two modules thus connected to the distribution channel being associated side by side and connected to each other to together constitute the desired electrical equipment .

In general, in such known assemblies, the module circuit breaker and operator module are designed so that, when arranged side by side and thus brought together, electrical contacts and / or mechanical connections are made between them at their respective large side faces. Of this way it is necessary to move laterally, i.e. along the distribution channel, one of the modules relative to the other to establish the connection or disconnection of the two modules. So if a person agency side-by-side more than two modules and if it then wishes change one of these modules, it must shift laterally all the other modules on one side so that you can extract the module at change and then shift sideways in the other direction all these other modules in order to reestablish the connection. This operation is not desirable and in some cases it may be impossible to achieve.

Another disadvantage is that an electrical appliance thus constituted by two juxtaposed modules has a front face which corresponds to the juxtaposition of the front face of each of the two modules, and therefore this resulting front face does not match with a single piece but with two juxtaposed pieces, which is not very practical and unattractive.

Document US-A-2904649 describes a mechanical interlock between two circuit breakers mounted on a panel with an offset predetermined. Each circuit breaker has a protruding handle of an opening of the front face. Two pairs of levers cooperate with the and are interconnected with connecting rods so to authorize the closing of a single circuit breaker.

An object of the present invention is to propose a new assembly of modular electrical devices usable in distribution distributed, with which it is possible to change a modular device without move other mounted devices side by side on the same track distribution.

Another object of the present invention is to provide such a assembly of modular electrical devices in which each modular device has a front face corresponding to a single room.

If we refer to Figures 2 to 7, we see that the assembly 1 according to the invention may include a first group of operator modules 25 of which each constitutes a circuit breaker 25 and a second group of operator modules 26, 27, 28 each of which can optionally constitute a circuit breaker (26 in the figure 2 or 5), a differential protection block (27 in Figure 3 or 6), a remote control (28 in FIG. 4 or 7), a disjunction control by current emission (not shown), a disjunction command by lack of voltage (not shown) or any other auxiliary electric (not shown).

It follows from this that a person can arrange on the distribution channel electrical equipment by plugging into this distribution channel: (1) a operator module 25 taken from the first group of operator modules and (2) an operator module of his choice (26, 27, 28 or other) taken from said second group of operator modules, the two operator modules thus connected to the distribution channel being associated via the coupling module 6 which comes to be applied by overlapping them.

In Figures 2 and 5, we see that a person who has the assembly according to the present invention can for example constitute a electrical equipment consisting of a circuit breaker 25 and another circuit breaker 26. In this case, it is advantageous to arrange a coupling module 6 comprising a first rod 7a provided at its two ends with holes through which come respectively thread a rod 4a, 4b serving as elements of operation of the two circuit breakers 25 and 26 and another rod 7b provided with its two ends of holes through which thread respectively a rod 5a, 5b serving as a trigger for the two circuit breakers 25 and 26. The assembly thus formed performs the function of a bipolar circuit breaker or a two-way circuit breaker. If either of the circuit breakers trips, the two circuit breakers 25 and 26 break at the same time. An action to rearm one of the circuit breakers causes the two circuit breakers to reset same time. We can of course consider coupling more than two circuit breakers, for example three or four. In these latter cases, the command 6 is longer so as to overlap and interconnect simultaneously the three or four circuit breakers.

In Figures 3 and 6, we see that a person who has the assembly according to the present invention can for example constitute a electrical equipment comprising a circuit breaker 25 and a protection block differential 27. In this case, the two operating rods 4, 4 ′ are connected similarly by a rod 7a while another rod 8a is connected by through a hole in the movable control element 5a which constitutes the trip device of the circuit breaker 25 and another mobile control element 5b of the block 27. However, the other control element 5b is not connected by being threaded in a hole in the rod 8a but simply comes to rest on the end of this rod 8a so that it can actuate the rod 8a only in one direction (in the direction of the push).

In Figures 4 and 7, we see that a person who has the assembly according to the present invention can for example also constitute a other electrical equipment comprising a circuit breaker 25 and a remote control 28. In this case, only one rod 7a is provided which is connected to a rod 4a serving as operating element of the circuit breaker 25 and to another rod 4b serving as an operating or controlling element of the remote control 28.

It will therefore be understood that the coupling module 6 is specific to the association of the two electrical devices that this coupling module must couple together.

Other variations or improvements can be made to the present invention without departing from the scope thereof. In particular, it can be additionally provided on the coupling module 6 of the electrical connection elements intended for making certain electrical connections between two or more than two electrical devices that these coupling modules must couple together.
