Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft nun eine in Gross- wie auch in Kleinküchen verwendbare Lebensmittelpackung, mit welcher es möglich ist, Teigwarengerichte, wie z.B. Ravioli, innert verhältnismässig kurzer Zeit und ohne störenden Arbeitsablauf essbereit auf den Tisch zu bringen. Diese - insbesondere wasserdichte und kochfeste - Lebensmittelpackung ist im wesentlichen dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie in einem Teigwaren enthaltenden Innenraum einen geschlossenen, Salzwasser oder Bouillon enthaltenden Beutel aufweist.
