Description
Die ohnehin in der Raumluft der Fabrikationsstätte vorhandenen und gegebenenfalls ausgefilterten und in den Herstellungsprozeß zurückgeführten Tabakfeinpartikel werden auf diese Weise durch Fremdpartikel aus Acetatfasern belastet bzw. verunreinigt. Auch können sich derartige Filterfasern bei der weiteren Handhabung, z. B. bei Förderung zur Packmaschine und bei der Verpackung selbst noch lösen.
Durch die US-A-3 294 095 ist eine gegen unbeabsichtigtes Anzünden des Filterendes wirksame, feuerfeste Schutzkappe mit stirnseitigen Zugbohrungen bekanntgeworden.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch erlöst, daß die Acetatfasern nach der Durchtrennung des Filterstabes von den Tennflächen entfernt werden.
Gemäß einer bevorzugten Ausgestaltung weist die Abnahmeeinrichtung einen in eine die Trennfläche gegen die Atmosphäre abdichtende Kammer einmündenden Saugluftanschluß auf.
Nach einem weiteren alternativen Vorschlag kann die Abnahmeeinrichtung mit der Trennfläche zugewandten Elektroden zur Erzeugung eines elektrischen Feldes ausgestattet sein, welches durch entgegengesetzte elektrostatische Aufladung lose Fasern von der Trennfläche anzieht und gegebenenfalls mit Unterstützung von Saugluft abführt.

Claims (6)
- Verfahren zum Herstellen von mit Zellulose-Acetatfiltern bestückten stabförmigen Rauchartikeln der tabakverarbeitenden Industrie durch Trennung von jeweils in mehrfacher, insbesondere doppelter Stablänge zusammengefügten Tabak- und Filterkomponenten in der Mitte eines Filterstabes, an dessen freiem Ende Vorkehrungen gegen eine unkontrollierte Ablösung freier bzw. lose haftender Acetatfasern getroffen werden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Acetatfasern nach der Durchtrennung des Filterstabes von den Trennflächen entfernt werden.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Entfernung der Acetatfasern unter Anlegen eines Unterdrucks an die Trennflächen durch pneumatische Absaugung erfolgt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Entfernung der Acetatfasern durch von außen auf die Trennflächen einwirkende elektrostatische Anziehung bzw. Absaugung erfolgt.
- Vorrichtung zum Herstellen von mit Zellulose-Acetatfiltern bestückten stabförmigen Artikeln der tabakverarbeitenden Industrie durch Trennung von jeweils in mehrfacher, insbesondere doppelter Stablänge zusammengefügten Tabak- und Filterkomponenten in der Mitte eines Filterstabes, mit Mitteln (1; 101;) zum Verbessern der freien Stirnfläche (2; 102) des Filterstabes (4; 104), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die durch die Trennung erzeugte freie Stirnfläche (2; 102) des auf einem rotativen Fördermittel (11) transportierten Filterstabes (4; 104) an einer Fasern-Abnahmeeinrichtung (6; 106) vorbeibewegbar ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Abnahmeeinrichtung (6) einen in eine die Trennfläche (2) gegen die Atmosphäre abdichtende Kammer (13) einmündenden Saugluftanschluß (7) aufweist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Abnahmeeinrichtung (106) mit der Trennfläche (102) zugewandten Elektroden (117) zur Erzeugung eines elektrischen Feldes ausgestattet ist.
