Claims (9)

  1. A device for adjusting one of the bearing brackets of a roll in a group of rolls for supporting and moving an endless moving belt, such as the endless screen belt, conveyor belt or the like in a papermaking plant, the bearing bracket (4) being arranged on a carriage (3) provided with running rollers (32) or the like, which carriage (3) may be adjusted by means of an adjusting means (5) relative to a supporting frame (1) in the direction of movement of the belt, whereby the angular position of the roll mounted in the bearing bracket (4) may be varied relative to the longitudinal direction of the belt, characterised in that the carriage (3) is arranged on a slide (2) which is provided on the supporting frame (1) and which may be adjusted by means of a second adjusting means (21) relative to the supporting frame (1) in the direction of movement of the belt.
  2. A device according to claim 1, characterised in that the carriage (3) additionally comprises guide rollers (33) with which it is guided relative to the slide (2).
  3. A device according to one of claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the adjusting means (5) associated with the carriage (3) is arranged at one of the ends of the carriage (3).
  4. A device according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the carriage (3) takes the form of a plate (31), to the upper side of which there is attached the bearing brackets (4) and on the side faces of which there are mounted the running rollers (32) or the like.
  5. A device according to one of claims 2 to 4, characterised in that the guide rollers (33) project from the bottom of the carriage (3).
  6. A device according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that an adjusting cylinder (5) is associated with the carriage (3), the piston (52) of which cylinder (5) is connected detachably to one of the end faces of the carriage (3) by means of a piston rod (56).
  7. A device according to claim 6, characterised in that the adjusting cylinder (5) is located laterally externally of the carriage (3) or of the bearing bracket (4) attached thereto.
  8. A device according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the slide (2) comprises two flanges (23), which are each provided with a channel (24) in which the running rollers (32) or the like of the carriage (3) are guided, and in that it additionally comprises a channel (22) beneath the carriage (3), into which channel (22) the guide rollers (33) of the carriage (3) project.
  9. A device according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the second adjusting means takes the form of an adjusting spindle (21), which is arranged at one of the ends of the slide (2).
