Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schaltungsanordnung zum Betrieb einer Entladungslampe, welche einen Generator zur Generierung einer Wechselspannung, eine mit dem Generator verbundene Abschaltvorrichtung, die in Abhängigkeit eines Eingangssignals ein erstes Steuersignal bildet, mit welchem der Generator ansteuerbar und in dieser Weise aktivierbar ist, daß die Generierung der Wechselspannung beendet wird.
Erfindungsgemäß weist die Schaltungsanordnung eine mit der Abschaltvorrichtung verbundene Spannungserfassungseinrichtung zum Erfassen einer Peak-Peak-Spannung der Entladungslampe auf, wobei die Spannungserfassungsvorrichtung in Abhängigkeit der erfaßten Peak-Peak-Spannung ein zweites Steuersignal bildet, das der Abschaltvorrichtung zugeführt wird und deren Aktivierung in der Weise bewirkt, daß die Abschaltvorrichtung das erste Steuersignal bildet.
