Abstract

EXPANDED CARRYING SYSTEM
Tecnical Field
This invention relates to no-hands shoulder carriers.
In the field of shoulder straps and body harnesses most of devices include the same parts of inventions of prior art (straps, shoulder pads, connectors, cross- pieces, hook & loop fasteners, and similar) but differently mounted., so as to obtain comfort for the carrying of a specific gear (tools, photo-gear, musical instruments and like) Therefore, for carry specific different items a user is obliged to buy a plurality of apparatuses., as one does not find a shoulder carrier able to change its features for different necessities. Although this is a crowded art, any even small change can be significant.
Principal changes which make said apparatuses different are the features of hooks, of straps , of systems for length adjusting and of padding. Said apparatuses can be divided in three groups: A) apparatuses which use shoulder straps having a constant width from shoulder to load B) apparatuses which use shoulder straps being more wide on the shoulder and less wide in correspondence of the load. C) apparatuses which go around the neck. The apparatuses of group A) generally may be: 1) very encumbering if wide enough to avoid injury for the shoulder 2) very injurious if so narrow so as to be light and foldable. The apparatuses of group B) generally are very heavy and encumbering, for the major width in correspondence of shoulder is obtained by fixed or slidable padding.
The apparatuses of group C) soon tire the neck, and can be used only for slight loads and for small time. Often an apparatus differs from others only in the "carrying means", which generally are only a particular type of hook which works better with a specific gear, and this little difference is often reputed enough for make them consider as a novelty. In effect is this important part which permits to carry a piece of furniture and not a photo-gear. This important part causes also the differences
SUBSTITUTE SHEET between the straps or cables that must support them, and in effect one can't locate a hook for carrying furniture on a strap for photo gear. Therefore, all of shoulder carriers of prior art have the limitations that 1) they are good only for a kind of objects to be carried and 2) that one cannot change so much the type of load hook for which they have been built.
Further, all of shoulder carriers of prior art are to be considered 1) a part of the object to be carried or 2) a work tool.
Therefore no attention has been put on the carrying of the carrier , as in case 1) it is left attached to the object to cany, in case 2) the carrier stays among work tools. , it is not nice to see, it has heavy encumbering hooks
In both cases is not provided a carrier able to stay in pocket-spaced little pouch, so as to be within reach in every moment, able to easily change its "carrying means" , and at the same time having very wide shoulder straps For this reason many persons to which suddenly happens to need to carry things are obliged to tire their hands and arms.
Further, there are some objects for which a satisfying carrier has not been found. For this reason women make purchases and food-shopping having hands filled with bags, sacks, boxes, they cannot give hand to children, it is difficult to open doors or use umbrella when raining. Further, on bicycle and motorcycle on often sees bags hanged to handle bars, and so on .
None of apparatuses of prior art remedies to these problems, nor is transportable in pocket-spaced little pouch, nor is capable of quick changing its features, for example from shopper transportation to ski carrying or to big box transporting, or to boat-pulling.
This because the "carrying means" of said apparatuses are substantially meant to be the type of load-hooks, type which can hardly be changed on a no- changeable strap.
Background Art
To disclose some of prior art apparatuses one can consider Doring's apparatus, (DE-U-8909078)which relates to a carrying strap for suit-cases transportation. Said apparatus is a typical apparatus of cited group A), wherein the width of shoulder strap is constant from shoulder to load, and wherein the shoulder strap is so long as to be able to connect the load to be carried, that
SUBSTITUTE SHEET means so long .as necessary to go from the load to the shoulder and again from the shoulder to the load, as it includes in the same object named "shoulder strap", two different zones: shoulder zone and load-connecting zone, which are not separated . The consequence is that, if the strap's width is great, this should be comfortable for the shoulder of user, but all the strap is large and encumbering. Vice versa, if the strap is narrow it should be less encumbering but far less comfortable for shoulder.. Said Type of strap does not permit connection to specific carrying belts, but only to the load. Further, having a shoulder padding firmly fixed on said shoulder strap, it is not closely foldable in little pouch pocket-sized. Further, said apparatus remains identical, and cannot change its features according to the object to be carried. Seitz-Gangemi apparatus (US-A 4785984) relates to a two-shoulder carrying apparatus meant to carry an article such as a radio while walking. In said apparatus the only carrying means provided is a Velcro-like pad, to be connected to complementary-shaped Velcro-like pad fixed on radio's body. Therefore no other type of object can be carried, and the device is built of the carrying of a very slight weight. Further, said apparatus remains identical, and cannot change its features according to the object to be carried. Some embodiments use a shoulder strap connected to a cable having hooking means Roth 's apparatus, (A- 3 443 828, Germ.) which is specific to furniture transportation, is not foldable in a little pouch for the type of load- hook and for the type of connection between strap and cable, which can open when folding, do not permit a connection of the load in two points, cables are not provided of an anti -end-dangling system.
This is a continuation of the matter described in my EPO appl. no. 92830373.4. In said application I described some uses of a matchable shoulder strap or multipurpose shoulder strap, which are here expanded and improved and are inserted in a complete carrying system, and also are described some improved embodiments of said matchable shoulder strap, as it shall be clear below. This PCT application includes some matter disclosed in my second EPO appl. no. 93830418.6, referring to same priority here claimed.

SUBSTITUTE SHEET a) to provide a new carrying system for individual transportation of objects, based on the use of a noulder carrier able to match and dismatch several parts so as to quickly change its features; b) to provide a group of matchable parts , able to form several embodiments of a carrying apparatus for free-hands individual transportation of objects; c) some of said parts able to be detached from said carrying apparatus and used by themselves some for hand transportation and some for wall-hanging after carrying, in connection with wall-catching additional parts; d) to provide a wide, comfortable, foldable, matchable, no-load contacting shoulder strap having end connectors, so as to be able to realise several embodiments of a one-shoulder carrying apparatus when each of said connectors matched to whichever less wide no-shoulder contacting carrying belt or cable having same type of connectors, and able to be provided with means for carry a load by hooking it or by wrapping it in a loop; e) to provide a matchable, no-load contacting .double shoulder strap wide, comfortable and foldable having end connectors, so as to be able to realise several embodiments of a two-shoulder carrying apparatus when each of said connectors matched to whichever carrying belt or cable having same type of connectors, and able to be provided with means for carry a load by hooking it or by wrapping it in a loop; f) to provide several kinds of no-shoulder contacting carrying belts and cables, able, when connected to said shoulder strap, to very comfortably hold special types of devices, as plastic shoppers, skis, surf tables and canoes, wind-surf gear, fishing gear, bottles, suit-cases and so on g) to provide a one-shoulder carrying apparatus characterised in that by its use one can pull or catch objects keeping hands free and without necessity of putting them in a container, in that when not in use it can fit in a pocket in a little comfortable pouch, thanks to the fact that the only wide part is a short shoulder strap which can be interchangeably matched to several types of narrower carrying belts or cables able to be provided with means for carry a load by hooking it or by wrapping it in a loop. Said one-shoulder carrying apparatus can give more unexpected advantages when used by two or more individuals, so as to permit the carrying injured persons, or the pulling of big devices, as boats or cars or furniture

This gives the same type of advantages described for said one-shoulder carrying apparatus, increased by the fact that the load is shared on the two shoulders, which is more comfortable and good for the spine of user, and increased by the fact that a double transporting power is given and additional advantages are obtained by adding supplementary straps or cables , so as to be able to carry a child, a big box, the whole wind-surf gear, and so on; i) to provide a two-shoulder carrying apparatus for the carrying of goods on the back of a human, capable of catching things without use of containers, by use of said carrying belts or cables; 1) to provide a comfortable little pouch for the no-hands carrying of said carrying apparatuses, characterised in that it is possible to connect and disconnect it also to close-curve shaped parts of one's clothing; m) to provide a hooking handle capable of being connected to carrying cables of said carrying apparatuses for avoiding load rotation when walking and, if desired, to comfortably pass from shoulder transportation to hand transportation; n) to provide strap hangers for hang to a nail or to a bar objects after transportation, so as to quickly and orderly get rid of transported objects. o) To provide a method for length-adjusting of cables . p) To provide a method for strap and cable anti-end-dangling

The invention consists in a free-hands carrying system based on the idea that a shoulder strap can be divided in matchable parts, therefore based on the use of a matchable device able to change its features by providing several parts which can be matched in different ways and used in co-operation , so as to create different embodiments of a shoulder carrier foldable in pocket-space, and capable to catch several objects to be carried without help of containers nor use of hands, but simply by hooking them or by wrapping them in tightening loops
SUBSTITUTE SHEET formed thanks to special hooking & looping systems or else by catching them with hooking handles includable in carrier assembly and being part of the system. Also the carrying of said carrier can be no-hands performed thanks to the fact that said carrier is foldable in tiny space and thanks to a special little pouch, attachable to whichever also close curve of one's clothes. Also end of carrying is no-hands performed as carried objects can easily be hung to a nail or a bar in a wall by using the same belt they are connected to, said belt able to be disconnected from said device and connected to other hangers left in place, or else using very similar hanging belts kept hanging from wall.

FIG. 1 shows , indicated as 1A, a multipurpose shoulder strap , or single matchable shoulder strap, comprising a strap 82 having two ends 81, 83, a female part 80, of a two part buckle assembly , located at each of ends 81, 83 of strap 82, strap 82 having a substantially constant width for the majority of its length, said width being major than the width of said boucle assembly, and tapering inwardly at ends 81, 83 so as to be threaded through parts 80, 84. Fig. 14 shows, indicated as 7, a sliding, foldable and quick-removable shoulder padding-body comprising a soft and foldable padding (not shown) covered with a covering 402 made of smooth and very closely foldable fabric. Covering has two identical sides 407, 408. First side 407 is provided with a couple 403, 404 of hook and loop elements able to slidably keep a multipurpose shoulder strap located on said padding-body. Identically second side 408 is provided with hook and loop elements 405, 406. Said padding-body is not necessary in the great number of cases, when user is dressed , as the multipurpose shoulder straps, being very short, can be very wide and spread easily the load on shoulders. Even when very heavy objects are carried and shoulder naked, also a wide strap seems hard to the shoulder, and a soft body is pleasant. Moreover, Said padding-body is easily foldable, so as to fit in little pouch, together with a shoulder carrier. Moreover , when user is bare-shouldered, also little movements of a tense shoulder strap can give pain to skin, and said hook and loop fasteners permit a very light tension upon shoulder strap, so as to permit its slidable movement upon smooth fabric of padded body so as to avoid injury and friction upon user's skin. Fig. 15 shows , indicated as 2 A , a double multipurpose shoulder strap comprising two single multipurpose shoulder straps l'A, 1"A, identical to single multipurpose shoulder strap 1A, connected by two cross pieces 132, 133 extending perpendicular to straps l'A, 1"A. The hole 134 comprised between straps l'A,l"A and cross-pieces 132, 133 is sufficient for the passage of the head of an user.

Whereby it is possible to wrap an upper bar in a tightening loop obtained by connecting snap- hook 71 to ring 65 and to wrap a plurality of objects, as a rope 73, in a tightening loop, obtained by connecting snap-hook 72 to ring 64, and to keep said loop tightened by stopping belt-stopper 66 against ring 64. Whereby it is possible to keep in order together the coils of rope also if laying on a floor. Fig. 23 shows a hanging belt 4'A identical to belt 4A further comprising a length-adjusting apparatus 74. End 75 of strap 63 has a hook element to be connected to sliding loop-surfaced body 76 for anti-end dangling. Fig. 24 and 25 show a detail of length-adjusting apparatus 74, having two lateral elements 33,34 connected by three cross elements 77,78,35; element 35 connected to snap-hook 72, elements 77,78 co-operating for stopping and length adjusting of belt 63.
Fig. 26 shows, indicated as 3L, a no-shoulder touching carrying cable comprising a cable 322 having first end 317 meant to be threaded through a ring 314. of a multipurpose shoulder strap (not shown) end 317 of cable 322 is slidably mounted by a knot 318 on cable 322 . forming a loop 315. An 8- shaped length adjusting ring 316 is slidably wrapped by cable 322 in a position internal to loop 315 . Second end 320 of cable 315 is connected to a hook 321. A cable stopper 319 is slidably mounted on cable 322 so as to prevent untightening of loop 315.
SUBSTITUTE SHEET Fig. 27 shows, indicated as 31, a no-shoulder-touching carrying cable comprising a cable 298 having first end 301 connected to a ring-shaped rear part 297 of a male part 296 of a two part buckle assembly ; end 301 of cable 298 is threaded through ring part 297 and slidably mounted by a knot 302 on cable 298 (in place of knot 302 one could use also a ring or a snap hook or similar). An 8-shaped length adjusting ring 299 is slidably wrapped by cable 298 between connector 296 and knot 302 . Second end 303 of cable 298 is connected to a stopping hook 304. When without a load pulling from the hook, cable 298 is not tense and permits sliding of 8-shaped ring 299, so as to permit length adjusting by moving 8-shaped ring in a desired position. When a load is connected by hook 304, then cable 298 is tense and the wrapping 300 stops the 8-shaped ring 299 so as to stop also the sliding of knot 302 and so to obtain a length adjustment of cable 298. FIG 27b shows a detail of stopping hook 304, comprising a stopping body 311 slidably mounted in a hooking body 307 and enforced by a spring 308 against the loop of a hooking portion 313 so as to close hook space 312. A little lever 310 sliding in a slit 309 permits hand opening. A grip part 306 protruding from hooking body 307 has a hole 305 for cable connection. It so is possible to hook a cable on itself to form stopped loops. Fig. 28 shows, indicated as 5, a wrapping belt for wrap goods and connect them to a carrying belt or cable. Wrapping belt comprises a belt 330 having two ends 331, 332. First end 331 connected to a female part 335 of a two part buckle assembly. Second end 332 is threaded through male part 336 of said two part buckle assembly for length adjustment, end 332 having a hook fastener 333 meant to be connected to a loop fastener 334 slidably mounted on belt 330. Two rings 328, 329 are slidably mounted on belt 330 for connection with hooks 326, 327 located at the end 325 of a carrying belt 324.
Fig. 29 shows, indicated as 8, a little pouch having catching means so as to be capable of easily be connected to dresses of a person, so as to permit a no-hand transportation of a no-hands shoulder carrier. It is so avoided to held in one's hands said shoulder carriers when dresses have no pockets. Pouch 8 is characterised in that it is provided with a looping hook and loop fastener 423' comprising a v-shaped strap assembly having a two-lips 424' , 425' hook element 422' for interingagement to double sided loop element 427'

Second end 341 is identically connected to bracket 343 and ring-shaped element 339. Whereby it so is possible to hook the handles of a shopper and connect the ring- shaped elements 338, 339 to the hooks of a carrying belt of a shoulder carrier or cable, and to return to hand carrying when desired. Said handle is an important part of a shoulder carrier for shoppers, as plastic handles of said shoppers easily get wrapped to each other, therefore it is necessary a dividing element, as said hooking handle, to prevent said handles of plastic bags to touch and get wrapped. Fig. 31 Shows , indicated as 6B, a hooking handle for connection to carrying belts or cables, handle 6B comprises a central handle 214 having two identical ends; with regards to left end in view, the lower portion 340 of said end has a bracket 342 having at its extremity 344 a ring-shaped element 2 17 perpendicular to said bracket. At upper portion 345 of said end there is a sliding body 216 , slidably mounted in said upper portion of said end of said handle. A hook-shaped body is so formed by said end, said bracket and by said ring-shaped body. Said hook shape can be closed by the sliding of sliding body 216 against ring-shaped body 217, operation which can be performed by user by pushing with a finger against protrusion 215 upwards protruding from sliding body 216 A stopper 227 is located internally to said left end, having a shape which leaves an upper space 343 for insertion of a finger, for easy extraction, and which leaves a lower space 339 for the passage of a cable Second end 341 is identically connected to bracket 346 and ring-shaped element 234. Lateral sides of handle 6B can have level surfaces, as surface 364, to obtain a low position of barycentre, so that said handle cannot roll away from user. Stopper 227 sliding out can be avoided by friction-giving dimensions or by slight-effort blocking apparatuses.(not shown). Identically, not desired sliding of sliding body 216 can be avoided by friction-giving dimensions or by slight- effort blocking apparatuses (not shown)

Superior space 349 can be closed by sliding of sliding body 216 for preventing the coming out of said handles even when shopper has been laying somewhere Said handle is an important part of a shoulder carrier for shoppers, as plastic handles of said shoppers easily get wrapped to each other, therefore it is necessary a dividing element, as said hooking handle, to prevent said handles of plastic bags to touch and get wrapped. Fig. 32 shows the hooking handle 6B with stopper 227 pulled out, so as to show the tubular shape of said handle and the detail of the stopping slit , 223 for the stopping and length adjusting of a cable 224 having at each end a snap - hook 226,353. Internal surface of each end of said hooking handle 6B has protrusions, as elongated protrusion 221, for the sliding and the stopping of stopper 227. Said stopper 227 has slide-guides as guide 228 for the sliding movement in co-operation with said protrusions, as protrusion 221. Upper portion of said stopper 227 has an horizontal plan rough surface 231 for finger manoeuvre and, at its end , a vertical surface 230 for preventing the coming out of cable 224 when stored internally to said hooking-handle. upper part 229 of said surface 230 can be shaped so as to permit the sliding passage of a cable.
Lower portion of stopper 227 is tunnel-shaped, 232 so as to permit the passage of cable 224 when positioned in stopping slit 223. Said stopping slit can have the two edges 222,362 upwards directed and forming a v-shaped space 352 for easy insertion of cable 224 in slit 223. Fig. 33 how hooking handle 6C, which is a different embodiment of a hooking handle 6B. Said hooking handle 6C forms a box for the containing of objects as hooking cable 245 thanks to the removable connection between an upper part 236 and a lower part 243. Part 236 has at each end a sliding body, as sliding body 216, and a vertical surface 237 for connection to lower surfaces 354,240 between which is left a slit 239 for the passage of a cable towards stopping slit 238. Part 243 has at each end a tightening slit, as slit 238, a ring shaped body as 355,356, a couple of vertical surfaces as 240,254 between which a slit, as slit 239, is left. Joining lateral shapes 241,242 permit joining between part 236 and part 243. FIG 34 shows a cross-sectional view of hooking-handle 6C.

Multipurpose shoulder strap 1A is located on the shoulder of user 411 and is matched to carrying belt 3C. Snap-hook 193 of carrying belt 3C hooks ring 190 including in loop 414 handles 412, 413 of a plastic shopper 410 .
FIG. 36 shows, indicated as C2, a no-hands shoulder carrier obtained by matching a single multipurpose shoulder strap 1A (shown in detail in fig 1) to two identical carrying belts 3'H and 3H (shown in detail in fig. 21) . Shoulder carrier C2 is weared by user 422 for the carrying of a tripod 423. Tripod 423 is catched by two tightening loops 424, 425 formed by carrying belts 3H and
3'H. With reference to carrying belt 3H, loop 424 is formed by hooking ring 273 with snap-hook 275 .Loop 424 is kept tight by belt stopper 272. It so is evident that shoulder carrier C2 is very useful for transportation of a plurality of long objects, which are kept together, as the legs of tripod 423, by comfortable tightening loops, preventing the user from getting tired to keep them together while carrying. It is also evident that said long objects are held in two points 426, 427, which stabilises the load and avoids its bending.
FIG. 23 shows how, after shoulder carrying, the pair of skis 432 can be suspended to a wall having a nail 434 or a bar 435. Said operation is done keeping skis tightened in carrying belts 3H, 3'H. Carrying belts 3H, 3'H are disconnected from single multipurpose shoulder strap 1A, and connected to wall connecting bodies 4F and 4G..
Connecting body 4F comprises a female part 439 of a two-part buckle assembly having a ring-shaped rear part 440 for connection to nail 434.

On left side two rocket launchers 500, 501 are wrapped by loops 502, 503 formed by carrying belts 3G\ 3G" in the same way described in fig.27 for loop 278. Identically guns 504, 505 are held by carrying belts 3G, 3'G.
Whereby it is possible to a user 499 to rapidly attach and detach to both his shoulders several groups of long and even heavy and dangerous objects keeping hands free for holding or defending while transporting in even difficult ground. Little pouch 8 indicated the carrier C8 can always stay on a person, ready to be used when needed.
FIG 43 shows a no-hands shoulder carrier C9 used by individual 506 for the carrying of a complete wind-surf gear . In carrier C9 carrying belts 3'G, 3"G, 3G and other rear right carrying belt (not shown) are used as hooking belts, and looping performance is performed by four identical wrapping-belts 5, 5\5" and other (not shown). Whereby it is possible to an user 520 to carry on his back whichever long object can be catched by looping carrying belts 4'A 4"A. Weight of object 522 enforces downwards back part of double shoulder strap 2A. Front part of double shoulder strap 2A is consequentially enforced upwards, but it is firmly kept in place from lateral-belts 525 , 526 thanks to the cross-piece 524 pressing against waist 527 of user 520..
FIG. 45 shows a detail of belt-harness 523 in exploded view near double multipurpose shoulder strap 2A. Belt-harness 523 comprises two looping carrying belts 4'A, 4" A two identical lateral-belts 525, 526 connected by cross-piece 524 in correspondence of user's waist in back position. With reference to lateral-belt 525, it comprises a belt 528 having two ends 529, 530 (see fig 46). First end 529 of belt 528 is threaded through male part 531 of a two part buckle assembly for length adjustment, end 529 having a hook fastener 533 meant to be connected to a loop fastener 534 slidably mounted on belt 528. Second end 530 of belt 528 is connected to a male part 532 of a two part buckle assembly. Male part 532 is connected to two belts, belt 528 and looping carrying belt 4'A. A belt-stopper 535 is slidably mounted on belt, 528 between connector 532 and cross-piece 524. Said belt-stopper includes also belt 536 of carrying belt 4' A, so as to stop it against belt 528 in a desired position. Looping carrying belt 4'A comprises a belt 536 having two ends.. First end 537 is secured to male part 532. Second end 538 is threaded through a length- adjusting apparatus 74 connected to snap-hook 72 second end 538 having a hook fastener 540 meant to be connected to a loop fastener 541 slidably mounted on belt 536.

Whereby it is evident the little space and weight of said carrier, able to give many advantages and comforts.

FIG. 51 shows, indicated as C14, a no-hands rolling shoulder carrier obtained by connecting to rings 110, 111 of single multipurpose shoulder strap ID (described in detail in fig. 5) two identical carrying cables 3'M 3M Whereby it is possible to user 592 to carry a gun 593 by connecting , respectively, hooks 547, 547' of carrying cable 3M, 3'M to rings 594, 595 of gun 593. The swinging of gun 593 while carried doe's not injury shoulder 596 of user 592 thanks to the rolling on itself of close curve-shaped 97, as described in fig 5.
FIG. 52 shows, indicated as C13, a one-shoulder pulling gear for the pulling of water-scooters and similar no-handle provided vehicles. A multipurpose shoulder strap IE (described in detail in fig 7) is connected to two cables 582, 583. Cable 583 has two ends 586, 587. End 586 is connected to ring 126 of shoulder strap IE. End 587 forms a loop 588. Cable 582 has two ends, 584, 585. End 584 is connected to ring 125 of shoulder strap IE . End 585 is connected to a little ring 910 slidably mounted on cable 582 forming a loop 590 including a snap hook 589 . An 8- shaped ring 591 is included in loop 590 for length adjusting according to system described in fig's 30 description for carrying cable 31.
Whereby it is possible to thread ending loop 590 of cable 582 through pulling ring 581 of water scooter 580 and to connect snap hook 589 to loop 588. An

Fig. 53 shows , indicated as C15, a two shoulders carrier comprising a double matchable shoulder strap 2E and four carrying cables connected to its end rings., are in view rings 126,126' and cables 602,603 with hooks 599,600, hooking the handles 601,598 of two plastic bags .
Whereby it is clear the great comfort given to ladies who can so make purchases keeping hands free for helding an umbrella or the hands of children. FIG. 54 shows use of carrier C16, for the free-hand transportation of a ladder 629 and of a sack-bag 625. Hooks 604,605 of carrier C16 keep ladder 629 in a tightening loop Sack-bag beginning 628 is tied with a tightening cable forming two loops 626,627. Loops 626,627 are hooked by hooking handle 6B . Ring- shaped bodies 338,339 of hooking handle 6B are hooked respectively by hooks 606,607 of carrier C16.
Whereby is evident the novelty of the present invention, as until now transportation of long objects and of sack-bags has been performed in a very fatiguing way. It is also evident that a great transportation power is contained in carrier C16, and that it can be brought in little pouch 8 (shown in above figures) , which is strictly a part of the present invention. Similarly handle 6B is strictly a part of the present invention as is necessary for avoiding rotation of sack-bag 625 when user 597 moves legs for walking.
FIG. 55 shows, indicated as C16, a no-hands shoulder carrier obtained by matching four carrying cables 3N\ 3N", 3"N, 3"*N, , (all identical to carrying cable 3N described in fig 73) respectively to rings. 609, 608 610, 611, of a double multipurpose shoulder strap 2E (described in fig. 15 ) . Whereby it is possible to a student 612 to carry her school books in a position which is certainly good for her spine, as the resultant of loads is internal to user's body and located in central position.

Loops 639,640 are formed by hooking on themselves respectively cable 638,637 by hooks 635,636. Therefore, school bag is placed in comfortable position, ready to be open when necessary, and with very small encumbrance.

The system is based on the use of a multipurpose shoulder strap, or matchable shoulder strap, described in various embodiments ( 1A,1B,1C,1D,1E,1F),
SUBSTITUTE SHEET which is a wide strap so short as to stay in the shoulder zone of an user and so short as to be unconnectable to a load. Said multipurpose shoulder strap having a connector at each end so as to be able to be connected , at each end, at the end of a carrying belt or of a cable having complementary-shaped connectors. It so is possible, according to different carrying necessities, to change type of carrying belt or cable at each end of said multipurpose shoulder strap, so as to obtain several different embodiments of a shoulder carrier having the same multipurpose shoulder strap and different carrying belts or cables ( Cl,C2,C3,C5,C6,Cll,C12,C13,C14,Al). Said carrying belts or cables catch the load by hooking it or by wrapping it in loops, and can be used for hang to a nail or to a bar said load simply by disconnecting it from said multipurpose shoulder strap and connecting it to a nail or bar connector complementary shaped. , left on its support. Said carrying belts or cables are shown in various embodiments(3C,3E,3H,3I,3L), and can be provided with length adjustment systems and anti-rotation parts, as hooking handles (6A,6B,6C), some of which permit also an easy and comfortable change from shoulder to hand transportation. Hanging belts (4A,and similar), very similar to carrying belts are provided, as being nearly identical to said carrying belts and as being part of the carrying system (end of carrying)
By connecting two matchable shoulder straps by a front and a rear cross-piece a double matchable shoulder strap is formed, being able to obtain several different embodiments of a two-shoulder carrier ( C 7 , C 8 , C 9 ,C10,C15,C16,C17,C18,C19,C20).
It is evident that the above description, for the sake of brevity, discloses only a limited number of the possible embodiments that can be obtained ,thanks to this system, matching the various types of multipurpose shoulder straps to the various types of carrying belts and cables. Therefore the other embodiments that can be obtained by other combinations of said matchable shoulder straps and carrying belts or cables and not particularly here disclosed , are anyway to be considered included in the present application.
The carrying system provides also a no-hands little pouch (8) for said carriers, for one of the advantages of the system is the possibility of carrying carriers in little space upon oneself

Having described the invention and its advantages, one can see that it is based on the use of several parts and that each part can have different embodiments and be used in different combinations. This gives to this new carrying system a great extent of uses, of which the devices described in the figures are only some examples. Accordingly, the scope of the invention should be determined not only by the embodiments illustrated, but by the appended claims and their legal equivalents.

A shoulder carrier characterised in that it comprises : a) a shoulder strap made in foldable and resistant material as synthetic materials , materials composed of fabric of fibres and like; having connecting means secured at each end of said shoulder strap b) carrying means having load-connectors and strap-connectors for interchangeable connection with one of said connecting means secured to each end of said shoulder strap, said carrying means selected from the group consisting of: a) a carrying belt comprising:
- a belt having two ends ; - two parts of two part buckle assemblies secured on said belt ;
- at least one of said two ends having one of a two part hook and loop fastener, one part being secured to said belt at said end and the other part being slidably mounted on said belt for preventing end dangling when length adjusted ; - said at least one of said two ends threaded through a part of a two part buckle assembly for length adjustment,

2. A shoulder carrier according to claim 1 characterised in that said connecting means secured at each end of said shoulder strap include one part of a two-part buckle assembly

A shoulder carrier according to claim 2 wherein said one part of a two-part buckle assembly consist in a part of a two part reduction connector, said part having a central elongated element having two ends, and a male hooking element at each end for connection with tubular portions of second part.

A shoulder carrier according to claim 1 wherein said connecting means secured at each end of said shoulder strap consist in a part of a two part reduction connector, said part having a central elongated element having two ends, and a male hooking element at each end for connection with tubular portions of second part., said second part connected to for connection with cables or straps less wide than said shoulder strap, said connector having two lateral elements connected by three cross-elements and by a ring shaped element .First element of said three elements having length able to be wrapped by said shoulder strap, second and third elements co-operating for the stopping and length-adjusting of a less wide strap , ring element able to cable connection.
5. A shoulder carrier according to claim 1 characterised in that said connecting means secured at each end of said shoulder strap include a ring.
6. A shoulder carrier characterised in that it comprises :

7. A shoulder carrier according to claim 6 characterised in that said connecting means secured at each end of each of said two shoulder straps include one part of a two-part buckle assembly

A shoulder carrier according to claim 7 wherein said one part of a two-part buckle assembly consist in a part of a two part reduction connector, said part having an elongated element to be wrapped by an end of shoulder strap, said elongated element having two ends and a male hooking element at each of said ends for connection with tubular portions of second part.

A shoulder carrier according to claim 6 wherein said connecting means secured at each end of said shoulder strap consist in a reduction connector for connection with cables or straps less wide than said shoulder strap, said connector having two lateral elements connected by three cross-elements and by a ring shaped element .First element of said three elements having length able to be wrapped by said shoulder strap, second and third elements co¬ operating for the stopping and length-adjusting of a less wide strap , ring element able to cable connection.

11. A matchable shoulder strap assembly characterised in that it comprises:
- a shoulder strap substantially short as necessary for a comfortable contacting with the only shoulder zone of an user, eventually padded, made in material composed of foldable and resistant material as synthetic materials , materials composed of fabric of fibres and like;
- a number, selected from the group of numbers from zero to ten, of anti- slipping apparatuses connected to said shoulder strap;
- said anti-slipping apparatuses selected from the group consisting of : a) rough surfaces as rubber and hook surfaces fixed on lower face of shoulder strap; b) rough surfaces removably connected to shoulder strap c) rough surfaces

- each of said connectors located at each of said ends of said shoulder strap for connection with carrying means selected from the group consisting of no-shoulder touching carrying cables and no-shoulder- touching carrying belts less wide than said shoulder strap, said carrying belts and cables having connecting and carrying means, whereby it is possible to a human to realise several embodiments of a shoulder carrier simply by connecting said matchable shoulder strap assembly to any kind of no-shoulder touching carrying belt or cable that is necessary to his carrying necessities, said embodiments characterised in that said anti-end- dangling means permit a neat look.
12. The shoulder strap assembly of claim 11 characterised in that it has a belt shorter than said strap , each end of said belt secured to each end zone of said strap; whereby it is possible to avoid slipping of said strap towards the neck of user when said shoulder strap used across to user's chest, so as to be firmly placed on his shoulder.
13. The shoulder strap of claims 11,12 wherein each of said connectors is a connector having at one side a ring as wide as said shoulder strap , having at second side a length-adjusting apparatus for connection with belts less wide than said shoulder strap; said connector further having at second side a number, selected from the group consisting of numbers from zero to four, of ring-shaped elements for further connection to cables
14. The shoulder strap of claims 11,12 wherein each of said connectors is a part of a two part reduction connector, said part having a central elongated element having two ends, and a male hooking element at each end for connection with tubular portions of second part.

The shoulder strap assembly of claim 11 characterised in that said strap is close-curve-shaped , and each of said connectors comprises a roller ; whereby it is possible to said rollers to roll in said close curve shaped strap permitting to a user to avoid friction and injury on his shoulder when load moving.
16. A double shoulder strap assembly characterised in that it comprises :
- two matchable shoulder strap assemblies selected from the group consisting of shoulder straps according to claims from 11 to 14
- two cross-pieces mounted between said two matchable shoulder strap assemblies one in front position, one in rear position, said two cross-pieces connected to said two shoulder straps by connecting means selected in the group consisting of seams, rivets, hooks, hook and loop fasteners and similar.
17. A double shoulder strap assembly according to claim 16 wherein front cross-piece has keeping means, said keeping means selected from the group consisting of hooks, snap-hooks, rings, involving straps, involving elastics, cartridge-pouches.
18. A removable padded body substantially rectangular-shaped, characterised in that it comprises
- a soft and foldable padding
-covered with a covering made of smooth and very closely foldable fabric, - said covering having a number selected from the group consisting of numbers from one to ten of couples of straps hook and loop surfaced for reciprocal connection, located one in front to the other in symmetric position regards to the rolling axis of said padded body ,
-said padding built in soft foldable material, so as to fit in a little pouch; whereby it is possible to removably and slidably include a shoulder strap between said covering and said couples of straps hook and loop surfaced; whereby it is possible slidable movement of said shoulder strap upon said covering made of smooth fabric so as to avoid injury and friction upon user's skin;
SUBSTITUTE SHEET whereby it is further possible to detach said padded body from said shoulder strap keeping said shoulder strap matched to its carrying means ; whereby it is further possible, when desired, to fold said padded body in a little pouch keeping hands free.
19. An anti-slipping body substantially rectangular-shaped, characterised in that it comprises a flexible body having
- a lower anti-slipping rough surface
- an upper surface having a central hook/loop surface and - at least two couples of straps hook and loop surfaced for reciprocal connection, located one in front to the other in symmetric position regards to the rolling axis of said flexible body , whereby it is possible to removably include a shoulder strap between said upper surface and said couples of straps hook and loop surfaced;, said shoulder strap having on its lower face a fixed or removable hook/loop surface whereby it is possible firmly connect said shoulder strap on said ant-slipping body thanks to the hook & loop connection generated by contacting of said hook/loop surfaces as to avoid slipping from shoulder when user wearing slippy clothes. whereby it is further possible to detach said anti-slipping body from said shoulder strap if desired.
20. A hanging belt for the hanging of objects characterised in that it comprises: -a belt having two ends
- each of said two ends secured to a connector selected from the group consisting of rings, rectangle-shaped hooks , snap-hooks joined to rectangular rings, snap-hooks joined to length-adjusting apparatuses
- a number, selected from the group of numbers from zero to ten, of rings slidably mounted on said belt;
- a number, selected from the group consisting of numbers from 0 to 10, of belt stoppers slidably mounted on said belt, whereby it is possible to a user to wrap an object in a loop and to hang it to a support as: a nail or a bar. or a matchable shoulder strap having complementary- shaped connectors.

21. A hooking handle for easily hand-carry hookable objects, characterised in that it comprises a central tubular handle having a hook - shaped end at each side .

23. The hooking handle of claim 22 characterised in that : - each of said hook-shaped ends is formed by a corbel extending from lower part of an end of said handle ,
-said corbel ending in a ring-shaped portion for connection with hook of said carrying belts;
-upper part of said end of said handle having a sliding body slidably mounted in said handle so as to manoeuvre opening and closing of hook-shape of said hook-shaped end , for preventing easy coming out of transported goods
24. The hooking handle of claim 23 characterised in that it is formed as an openable box, having two shell-parts so as to have internal empty space
25. The hooking handle of claim 23 characterised in that it further comprises:
- at least one cable having two ends, each secured to hooking means, as a snap-hook , located in said empty space internal to said hooking handle ; - said at least one cable extendible outwards on both sides through both extremities of said handle and secured by a length-adjusting cable-stopping apparatus.;
- a stopper located at each side of said handle, so as to prevent cable from coming out ;

The hooking handle of claims 24,26 characterised in that its barycentre is lower than the centre of the vertical axis of its central cross-section, further characterised in that there is at least a level surface on lateral side of said hooking handle ; whereby said handle cannot roll away from user..
28. The hooking handle of claim 21 further comprising a hooking belt threaded through said tubular central handle and each space located between an end of said central handle and near said ring-shaped body
29. A no-hands carrying pouch characterised in that it has a hook and loop connector for connection to user's clothes, said connector composed by : a) a first strap having two ends; first of said two ends secured to said pouch; second of said two ends covered on both sides with a loop surface ; b) a v-shaped strap assembly having its vertex being connected to said first strap in a position substantially adjacent to said pouch, said a v-shaped strap assembly having having a two-lips hook element , that is a hook and loop surface internal to said v-shape whereby it is possible to a user to connect said pouch to his belt without being obliged to make this operation by pulling off said belt connection being realised by inserting said second end of said first strap into said v-shape , and fasten the double hook and loop fastener so realised
30. A one-shoulder carrying apparatus for the carrying of an elongated heavy object, as a scuba bottle, characterised in that it comprises: a) a matchable shoulder strap selected from the group consisting of matchable shoulder straps according to claims from 11 to claim 14 b) two carrying belts, each of said carrying belts comprising:
- a belt having two ends

- a number, selected from the group consisting of numbers from 0 to 10, of belt stoppers slidably mounted on said belt, - second end of said two ends being secured to load carrying means able to form tightening loops , said load carrying means selected from the group consisting of rectangular hooks , couples hook & ring, hooking buckles and similar c) a wrapping belt comprising: - a belt having two ends and
- at least one of said two ends having one of a two part hook and loop fastener, one part being secured to said belt at said end and the other part being slidably mounted on said belt for preventing end dangling when length adjusted - two connectors secured on said belt for engagement of one to another for wrapping tight a load
- at least one ring slidably mounted on said belt ; d) a number , selected from the group consisting of numbers from zero to one, of padded bodies able to be removably connected to said shoulder strap whereby it is possible to a user to wrap the base of a scuba-bottle with said wrapping-belt ,and to wear in cross position said one-shoulder carrying apparatus locating said matchable shoulder strap upon one shoulder and locating said bottle on the opposite lateral side than the side of said shoulder, and to connect first of said two carrying belts to the rings of said wrapping belt, and to wrap the neck of said bottle in a loop formed whit the second of said carrying belts by interaction of said hooking means with said carrying belt
31 the carrying apparatus of claim 30 further comprising:

Said short belts having length able to surround the neck of a bottle and having at each side at least one ring for connection to said carrying means secured at said second end of one of said two carrying belts b) a number , selected from the group consisting of numbers from zero to one, of hooking belts each threaded in a tubular handle ; each of said hooking belts having at each end hooking means for connection to anterior and posterior rings of the apparatus. whereby it is possible to a user to manoeuvre the load helping himself with use of said handle; to held the neck of bottle in said short belt, having connected each of its end rings to a connector located at the end of second of said two carrying belts
32. A one-shoulder carrying apparatus according to claim 30 for the carrying of a long and encumbering object, as a canoe, a surf board and like, characterised in that it further comprises a second wrapping belt identical to first wrapping belt whereby it is possible to a user to wrap each side of a canoe the base of said bottle in one of s said two wrapping-belts, and to connect each of said two wrapping belts to one of said carrying belts
33. A two-shoulder carrying apparatus for the carrying of a wind-surf gear on both lateral sides of an user, characterised in that it comprises: a) a double shoulder strap assembly according to claim 16 b) four carrying belts, each of said four carrying belts comprising: - a belt having two ends ) - at least one of said two ends having one of a two part hook and loop fastener, one part being secured to said belt at said end and the other part being slidably mounted on said belt for preventing end dangling when length adjusted; - first end of said two ends threaded through a part of a two-part buckle assembly

- said four carrying belts forming two couples of said carrying belts so that on each lateral side of user is located a couple of said carrying belts connected to the same of said two matchable shoulder straps c) four wrapping belts, each of said four wrapping belts comprising:
- a belt having two ends and
- at least one of said two ends having one of a two part hook and loop fastener, one part being secured to said belt at said end and the other part being slidably mounted on said belt for preventing end dangling when length adjustment;
- two connectors secured on said belt for engagement of one to another for wrapping tight a load - a number , selected from the group consisting of numbers from zero to ten, of rings slidably mounted on said belt d) a number , selected from the group consisting of numbers from zero to two, of padded bodies , each able to fit under each side of said double shoulder strap e) a number , selected from the group consisting of numbers from zero to two, of hooking belts each threaded in a tubular handle ; each of said hooking belts having at each end hooking means for connection to anterior and posterior rings of the apparatus. whereby it is possible to said user
- to divide his wind-surfing gear in two groups ,each of said groups wrapped in two wrapping-belts, and
- to wear said two-shoulder carrying apparatus on his shoulders and to hold, thanks to said handles, surf gear while connecting said carrying belts to said wrapping belts to carry a whole surf or wind-surf gear keeping hands free.
34. A two-shoulder carrying apparatus for the fixing and carrying of goods on the back of a user characterised in that it comprises: a) a shoulder strap assembly according to claim 16, b) a belt-harness comprising:
- two identical lateral-belts each having two ends ;
SUBSTITUTE SHEET - the first of said two ends threaded through a part of a two-part buckle assembly for length-adjusting and for connection to one of said four connectors of said shoulder strap assembly according to claim 16; said one of said four connectors located in front position of user and complementary-shaped to said part of a two-part buckle assembly ; said first of said two ends having one of a two part hook and loop fastener, one part being secured to said belt at said end and the other part being slidably mounted on said belt for preventing end dangling for every length adjustment
- the second of said two ends secured to the external part of the length adjusting apparatus of a part of a two part buckle assembly; said part of a two part buckle assembly complementary-shaped to one of said four connectors of said shoulder strap assembly according to claim 16; said one of said four connectors located in rear position of user;
- a cross-piece mounted between said two lateral belts in correspondence of user's waist in back position; c) two looping carrying belts , each having a number, selected from the group of numbers from zero to ten, of rings slidably mounted on said belt. Each of said looping carrying belts having two ends ,
-first end secured to the internal part of said length adjusting apparatus of said part of a two part buckle assembly;
- second end threaded through a length-adjusting apparatus of a hooking & looping apparatus selected from the group consisting of hooking buckle s and couples snap-hook & ring
- said second end having a hook fastener meant to be connected to a loop fastener slidably mounted on said loping carrying belt .
- two belt stoppers , each slidably mounted on both adjacent belts connected on internal and external part of the same connector being part of a two part buckle assembly; whereby it is possible to said user having a double matchable shoulder strap to use it also for matching said belt-harness which permits to secure objects in back position, without use of containers, as the objects to be carried are catched by simply wrapping them in tightening loops formed by said looping belts around said objects; said looping belts securing the load are prevented from dangling by each of said two belt stoppers which connect each of said looping belts to the adjacent lateral belt.

35 A cable length-adjusting method characterised in that it consists in
- to provide said cable with a sliding stopper , being said cable slidably threaded in said sliding stopper, and - to provide an extremity of said cable with a ring-shaped end slidably mounted on said cable whereby it is possible to connect said cable to a close curve-shaped support by threading said ring-shaped end through said close curve-shaped support before slidably mounting said ring-shaped end on said cable, whereby a length adjusting system for cables is provided, for it is possible to locate said sliding stopper in desired position to stop sliding of said first end, for length adjusting; whereby said length adjusting system for cables permits at the same time a method for connecting a cable to a support and an anti-end-dangling system for cables, as the end of said cable is always slidably connected to the support consisting of the cable itself;
36. The cable length-adjusting method of claim 35 characterised in that said sliding stopper is a ring-shaped body slidably wrapped by said cable ; whereby , when said cable not tense by a load it is possible to slidably move said ring-shaped body in desired position; when cable tense by load, tense wrapping stops said ring-shaped body , which stops sliding of said extremity of said cable when said ring shaped end pressing against said ring-shaped body..
37. A scuba ballast carrier characterised in that it comprises: a) a shoulder carrier b) a waist belt c) at least one ballast container slidably mounted on said waist belt , said ballast container comprising: - a flexible body slidably connected to said waist belt
- at least one upsetable pocket downwards connected to said flexible body, said at least one pocket having a number, selected from the group consisting of numbers from zero to ten, of disconnectable connecting means, as couples of hook & loop surfaced couples of straps
SUBSTITUTE SHEET - at least one flexible layer upwards connected to said flexible body so as to cover said pocket; said layer provided of a hook & loop surface on its extremity, so as to be adjacent to same type of hook & loop surface located on said pocket
- a connecting flexible element provided with hook & loop surface so as to bridge-connect said adjacent hook & loop surfaces located on said layer and on said pocket; said flexible element having its rear portion connected to an end of a cable or strap secured at second end to a handle ; further having a number, selected from the group consisting of numbers from zero to ten, of disconnectable connecting means, as couples of hook & loop surfaced couples of straps. - a number, selected from the group consisting of numbers from zero to one, of flexible elements downwards connected to bottom of said pocket and upwards externally hook & loop surfaced for bridge connection with said layer for pocket upsetting preventing; whereby it is possible to a user to insert his scuba ballast into said upsetable pocket and to secure it thanks to bridge-connection between said layer to an element selected from the group consisting of hook & loop pocket surface and hook & loop located upwards in said flexible element downwards connected to said pocket
38. A tool for the pulling of heavy objects comprising:
- a shoulder strap having a ring at each end;
- a cable .having first end connected to first ring of said shoulder strap; having second end connected to connecting means, said connecting means selected from the group consisting of hooks, snap-hooks, rings and like - a cable having first end connected to second ring of said shoulder strap; having second end threaded through connecting means, said connecting means selected from the group consisting of hooks, snap-hooks, rings and like ; said second end connected to a ring-shaped element slidably mounted on said cable, said cable further having a cable-stopper slidably mounted on said cable, said cable stopper selected from the group consisting of cable stoppers and eight- shaped rings whereby it is possible to a user to pull with his shoulder heavy encumbering objects having cable length-adjusting possibility.
39. A tool for transportation of an injured person comprising:
