Abstract

The carriage (10) has rollers (18,19,20,22,25,26) running along the upper surfaces of a rail on each side of a lengthwise slot. The number and positioning of the rollers are such that when travelling over a branch of the rail, at least one roller always rests on one upper surface on both sides of the slot. The carriage has a first and second pair of rollers on each side of the lengthwise slot. The internal distance apart between the rollers of the second pair corresponds to the width of the lengthwise slot.

Description

The invention relates to a movable partition element with a partition element sheet and at least one roller carriage on which the partition element sheet over at least one extending through a longitudinal slot in the rail Support element is suspended and the at least a first and a second Pair of rollers arranged on both sides of the longitudinal slot, the second Pair of rollers, viewed in a first direction of travel of the roller carriage, in front of the lies first pair of rollers and the arrangement of the rollers of the roller carriage in such a way are taken that at least always when crossing a branch of the rail a roll on a tread on both sides of the longitudinal slot lies on.

Such an arrangement is already known for example from US-A-5 090 171.

It is an object of the present invention to improve the roller carriage in such a way that that branches or switches in the rail also pass through without any problems can be.

This object is achieved in that the partition element at the beginning mentioned type of distance between the outer sides of the second pair of rollers smaller than the clear distance between the inside of the rollers of the first Pair and the diameter of the rollers of the second pair is smaller than the diameter is the roles of the first couple.

With the help of the construction according to the invention, which moreover also without major Effort and therefore inexpensive to determine is easier, but more effective Way avoided that when crossing the longitudinal slot in a branch the rails the roles of the roller carriage in the to be crossed Fall section of the steering rail and get stuck there. Thus, the Invention a smooth passage through the branch of a rail. This means that at every point on the rail, even in the area of branches Support function of the roller carriage always guaranteed, so that the partition element is always kept at the same level. Since the supporting function is essentially only needs to be taken over by a roller carriage, is the diameter of the Rolls of the second pair are smaller than that of the rolls of the first pair, resulting in one further simplification and thus cost savings.

The rollers of each pair are preferably arranged symmetrically to the longitudinal slot.

The clearance between the rollers of the second pair should be the width of the Longitudinal slot correspond. The distance between the roles of the first pair should preferably be such that the roles of the first pair essentially run along the outside of the tread of the running rail. With this currently particularly preferred embodiment can be used in particular curved track section of a junction crossing the longitudinal slot drive through the other rail section without any problems.

Another preferred embodiment is characterized in that the roller carriage has a third pair of rollers arranged on both sides of the longitudinal slot, which, viewed in the first direction of travel of the roller carriage, behind the first pair Roles lie. The distance between the rollers of the third pair should be essentially correspond to the distance between the rollers of the first pair, expediently the distance between the rollers of the third pair should be such that they are essentially on the outside of the Walk along the treads. The arrangement of a third pair of rollers Driving stability of the roller carriage, especially when driving through branches magnified even further.

The diameter of the rollers of the third pair can be smaller than the diameter the roles of the first couple for the reasons already mentioned. Here the diameter of the rollers of the third pair can be approximately the diameter of the roll of the second pair.

If the first pair of rollers essentially takes on the supporting function, that should Carrying element connecting the pivot points of the rollers of the first pair of rollers Cut line. This not only puts the greatest stress on the roles of the first pair of roles takes place, but will also be a particularly stable and balanced driving behavior of the roller carriage achieved. In a preferred one Further development of this embodiment can the roles of each pair of roles on one common axis of rotation, the axis of rotation of each pair of rollers parallel should lie to each other.

The roller carriage can expediently have at least one lateral one Be provided guide roller, the axis of which is perpendicular and the one side wall touches the running rail, resulting in an exact guidance of the roller carriage along the rail and especially when driving through branches is.

The partition element 1 shown schematically in FIG. 1 comprises a Partition panel sheet 2, which usually consists of a metal frame and two on both sides of this attached cover plates. At the top 4 of the Partition element sheet 2 are attached to supporting bolts 6, which are still to follow Roller carriages 10 to be described in more detail are rotatably mounted. The roller carriage 10 run on treads one more in the following descriptive travel rail 50, which has a longitudinal central slot has, through which the support bolts 6 are passed, the Treads of the running rail 50 are provided on both sides of the center slot. Each partition wall element usually has two roller carriages 10, each with one pivot pin 6 rotatably mounted thereon.

A roller carriage 10 is shown in detail in FIGS. 2 and 3. Of the Roller carriage 10 has a base body 12 with a continuous Bore 14 is provided for rotatably supporting the support pin 6. On the two Pages 16 and 17 of the base body 12 are first rollers 18 and 19, respectively rotatably mounted. The rollers 18 and 19, which are preferably ball-bearing or form the outer ring of a ball bearing (see in particular Figure 3b) on a common axis and form a first pair of rollers. The bore 14 for rotatable mounting of the support pin 6 is arranged so that its axis in intersects the common axis of the first pair of rollers substantially perpendicularly, whereby the loads are essentially taken over by the first rollers 18, 19 become. Viewed in the viewing direction of FIG. 2a, in the area of Front 20 of the base body 12 in front of the first rollers 18 and 19 two second rollers 21 and 22 arranged at a distance from each other. Are there the two rollers 21 and 22, which are preferably also ball-bearing or consist of the outer ring of a ball bearing, mostly in the base body 12 arranged sunk, with its circumference a little over the front 20 protrude from the base body 12 and protrude from the underside 23 thereof. The Rollers 21 and 22 lie on a common axis and form a second one Pair of roles. Adjacent to the back 24 of the base body 12 and in the direction of view 2a behind the first rollers 18 and 19 are on the sides 16 and 17 of the base body 12 each have a third roller 25 and 26 rotatably mounted is preferably also ball-bearing or a ball bearing from the outer ring exists (see Figure 3b). The two rollers 25 and 26 lie on one common axis and form a third pair of rollers.

Since the loads are essentially taken over by the first rollers 18, 19 , the diameter is noticeably larger than that of the second and third Casters 21, 22 and 25, 26, which are essentially the same diameter have. The distance between the rollers 25 and 26 of the third pair of rollers is approximately equal to the distance between the rollers 18 and 19 of the first pair of rollers, during the distance between the rollers 21 and 22 of the second Pair of roles is less. In the embodiment shown, the distance between the sides of the base 12 facing the sides 16, 17 of the Rollers 21 and 22 slightly smaller than the clear distance between the Base body 2 facing inner sides of the first rollers 18 and 19th

As can also be seen in FIGS. 2 and 3, the rollers are each Pair of rollers symmetrical to an imaginary running in the direction of rotation Center axis arranged, which is also from the axis of the through bore 14th is cut for the rotatable mounting of the support bolt. Not just the second Rollers 21 and 22, but also the first rollers 18 and 19 and the third rollers 25 and 26 protrude a little over the bottom with their circumference 23 of the base body 12. The axes of these rollers are depending on their diameter, arranged at such a height that the Rollers lie on a common plane with the underside of their circumference, which is formed by the tread of the rail described below.

On the top 28 of the base body 12 are adjacent to one side 17 two guide rollers 29 and 30 rotatable in such a manner lying at a distance from one another stored that their axes are substantially vertical and at right angles to the horizontal axes of the rollers 18, 19, 21, 22, 25 and 26 extend. The guide rollers 29 and 30 run in a provided in the running rail Guide groove, which means the roller carriage in exactly the desired direction Branch is led.

Furthermore, the position of the rollers 18, 19, 21, 22, 25 and 26 and the guide rollers 29, 30 one along the travel rail 50 movable roller carriage 10 of the type described above, wherein from For reasons of clarity, only the rollers and guide rollers schematically are shown, while the remaining parts of the roller carriage described above are omitted. It should also be mentioned in this context that the representations of Figures 2 and 3, the guide rollers 29, 30 on the opposite side 16 of the base body 12 are arranged. Out of this can be seen that the arrangement of the guide rollers 29, 30 is not one of the both sides 16, 17 of the base body 12 is limited; rather the Arrangement of the guide rollers 29, 30 according to which side of the running rail 50 a guide groove 55 is provided, in which the guide rollers 29, 30 engage and which will be discussed in more detail below.

As can be seen in FIG. 4a, the running rail 50 has one along it Central axis in the longitudinal direction extending central slot 52 through which the Carrying bolt 6 (see FIG. 1) extends, and on both sides of the central slot 52 trained flat horizontal treads 53 and 54 on which the rollers 18, 19, 21, 22, 25 and 26 lie on. The treads 53 and 54 are each limited to the outside by side walls 51.

In Figure 4a can be in the previously described embodiment of the Roller carriage 10 selected distances between the rollers of each pair of rollers recognize in relation to the dimensions of the rail 50. The one in substantially equal distance between the rollers 18, 19 of the first The pair of rollers and the rollers 25, 26 of the third pair of rollers is so chosen that the rollers 18, 19, 25 and 26 adjacent to the the treads 53, 54 delimiting side walls 51 run; the distance between the Outside of the rollers 18, 25 on the one hand and the rollers 19, 26 on the other and thus the width of the first and third pairs of rollers corresponds approximately the width of the running rail 50, but is slightly narrower. In contrast corresponds to the clear distance between the inner sides of the rollers 21, 22 of the second pair of rollers the width of the central slot 52, so that these two Rollers 21, 22 run on both sides of the central slot 52 directly along this.

The section of the travel rail 50 shown in FIG. 4a contains a branch 60, whereby the running rail 50 into a straight forward first section 50a and a curved branching second section 50b is divided. Accordingly, the first tread 53 goes into the tread 53a of the first Track section 50a over, while the second tread 54 in the Tread 54b of the second rail section 50b merges. With the Branch 60 also divides the central slot 52 into the central slot 52a of the first track section 50a and the center slot 52b of the second Track section 50b. Accordingly, in the first Rail section 50a formed a new second tread 54a, which with the second tread 54 is aligned, however, from this through that of the central slot 52 branching central slot 52b of the second rail section 50b interrupted is. Furthermore, through the branch 56 in the second rail section 50b, a new first tread 53b is formed which mates with the second Tread 54a of the first rail section 50a a common Originates in the area of the junction 60, but from the first tread 53 interrupted by the central slot 52a of the first rail section 50a and opposite the second tread 54b is the other side of the center slot 52b of the second track section 50b limited.

In the illustrated embodiment of Figure 4a is in the area of the second Tread 54 that branches into the second tread 54b of the branching second Rail section 50b merges, a guide groove 56 is provided which the arcuate course of the branched second rail section 50b participates. The guide groove 56 is arranged above the tread 54 or 54b (For example on the upper side of a hollow profile forming the running rail 50) and is delimited by two side walls 57 and 58, between which the Guide rollers 29 and 30 of the roller carriage run. The course of the described Guide groove 56 causes a in the illustrated embodiment Forced guidance of the roller carriage from the running rail 50 via the branch 56 in the branched second rail section 50b. Of course you can a guide groove also in the area of the first tread 53 of the running rail 50 and the adjoining first tread 53a of the straight-line one first track section 50a may be provided so that roller carriages with in such guide groove guided guide rollers via the branch 56 drive straight ahead into the first rail section 50a become.

In the following Figures 4b to 4e is shown schematically, like the one before Roller carriage described on the branch 56 in the branching arcuate second rail section 50b is moved. For reasons For the sake of clarity, only the most important reference symbols are used in these figures specified.

The first to third have the entire path of movement shown Rollers 18, 22 and 25 are in constant contact with the second tread 54 Track 50 and the adjoining second tread 54b of the branched second rail section 50b.

In the position shown in Figure 4b, in which the roller carriage in the branch drives in, the second roller 21 crosses the central slot 52a of the first Track section 50a and thus hangs 'in the air'. Nevertheless, a prevents unwanted tipping of the roller carriage, but remains the Roller carriage in its horizontal position since the first roller 19 and the third Roller 26 still rest on the first running surface 53 of the running rail 50 and thus together with the opposite rollers 18, 22 and 25 one Ensure a secure hold of the roller carriage. This is also supported characterized in that the bore 14 (see Figures 2 and 3), the support pin 6 (see Figure 1) rotatably receives, over which the entire load transfer takes place with your Axis intersects the axis of the first pair of rollers 18, 19 vertically, whereby essentially the entire load from the first rollers 18, 19th is caught.

In the position shown in Figure 4c, the first roller 19 crosses the Center slot 52a of the first rail section 50a, however, the Roller carriages in addition to those on the opposite second tread 54 or 54b resting rollers 18, 22 and 25 also from the leading one second roller 21, which is already on the first tread 53 of the branching second rail section 50b rests, as well as from the trailing third Roller 26, which still rests on the first running surface 53 of the running rail 50, supported.

In the situation shown in Figure 4d, the roller carriage is so far in the branching second rail section 50b has been advanced that now already the first roller 19 and the second roller 21 on the first tread 53b of the second rail section 50b rest while the trailing one third roller 26 over the center slot 52a of the first to be crossed Track section 50a hovers.

In the situation shown in Figure 4e, the roller carriage is now completely in the branched second rail section 50b has been moved so that now all rollers 18, 19, 21, 22, 25 and 26 on the treads 53b and 54b of the rest on the second rail section 50b and now along the roller carriage this second rail section 50b can be moved further.

As has been shown previously with reference to FIGS. 4a to e, the described arrangement of the rollers of the roller carriage easily over a Branch 56 can be moved without it with a roller in one crossing central slot falls and hooked there.
