Description

The invention relates to a deglor furnace according to the preamble of claim 1.

Deglor ovens are used for the glazing of ashes from waste incineration plants. Contaminants contained in the ashes are evaporated and separated. The glazed components can be used as building materials or deposited. Deglor ovens operate at temperatures between 1300 ° C and 1500 ° C. For this purpose, each deglor oven is provided with heating elements in its ceiling area. The heating elements are surrounded on the outside by a protective tube made of ceramic, which is permanently closed at one end and has a detachable closure at the second end.

A deglor furnace is known from German patent application P 4328718.2, in which the ceramic protective tube has a flange at its open end, which flange is formed by a metal clamp. The clamp is attached to the outer surface of the protective tube by means of one or more screws. A U-shaped heating element is arranged inside the protective tube. Its electrical connections are led through the removable closure to the outside. The flange attached to the open end of the protective tube is placed on the surface of the deglor oven and serves as a holder for the heating element. The protective tube is led into the interior of the deglor oven through an opening in the ceiling. The opening is immediately limited by the thermal insulation of the ceiling. This is disadvantageous, since gases from the deglor furnace along the outer surfaces of the protective tube can reach the fire-proof heat insulation of the ceiling. This is particularly the case if the pressure in the deglor furnace rises briefly during a pulse-like cleaning of the exhaust gas filter. The gases and their condensates are highly corrosive and destroy the thermal insulation very quickly.

The invention has for its object to show a deglor furnace in which the disadvantages described above are eliminated.

This object is achieved by the features of claim 1.

So that the corrosive gases from the interior of the deglor furnace cannot penetrate through the opening to the insulating stones of the ceiling that form the thermal insulation, the opening and its edge areas are provided with a shield. According to the invention, the shield has a gastight ceramic cylinder. The entire inner surface of the opening is lined with this. The cylinder is connected with a refractory cement to the insulating bricks that delimit the inner surface of the opening. The edge of the opening facing the interior of the deglor furnace is covered by one or more plates made of refractory bricks. The inner lining of the deglor furnace is also made from these panels. The plates are arranged so that they directly adjoin the protective tube of the heating element, so that the penetration of the gas from the interior into the opening is largely prevented. The outward-facing edge of the opening is covered by a ring-shaped plate made of stainless steel, which also partially lies on the surface of the ceiling. Between this plate 13 and the edge of the ceramic cylinder, a seal made of fibers is arranged. This seal is designed as a mat. However, cords with the same properties can also be used. The dimensions of the plate are chosen so that they directly adjoin the protective tube of the heating element. The heating element is held on the surface of the plate. For this purpose, the protective tube of the heating element is provided with an outward-facing flange which is placed on this plate. Due to the weight of the protective tube, the plate is pressed against the opening and the cylinder lining the opening, as a result of which an additional sealing of the deglor furnace to the outside is achieved.

Further features essential to the invention are characterized in the subclaims.

The invention is explained in more detail below with the aid of a schematic drawing.

The only figure belonging to the description shows a section of a deglor furnace 1. As can be seen from the figure, the ceiling 2 consists of two or more layers of insulating stones 2I, which serve as thermal insulation. These are preferably made of oxide ceramic. The deglor furnace 1 is heated by a large number of heating elements 3, one of which is shown in the figure. Each of these heating elements 3 has a heating rod 6, which is arranged in a ceramic protective tube 4. The protective tube 4 is permanently closed at its first end 4A, while its second end 4B has a detachable cover 4D. This can be removed in order to replace the heating element 6 by another if the former is defective. The electrical connections 6A of the heating element 6 are led out of the protective tube 4 through the cover 4D. The protective tube 4 is provided at its second end 4B with an outwardly facing flange 4F. This consists of a clamp that is attached to the outside of the protective tube 4 by means of screws 4S. This flange 4F serves to hold the heating element 3 on the surface 2S of the ceiling 2. The protective tube 4 is passed through an opening 10 which is continuous from the surface 2S of the deglor furnace 1 to its interior 1R. The protective tube 4 projects into the interior 1R with its first end 4A and about a third of its length. So that no corrosive gases 30 can get from the interior 1R to the insulating stones 2I of the ceiling 2 and to the outside, the opening 10 and its inner and outer edge regions 10A and 10I are surrounded by a shield 11. The shield 11 comprises a cylinder 12 made of ceramic, an annular plate 13 made of stainless steel and one or more plates 14 made of refractory stones. The plates 14 are arranged on the underside of the ceiling 2, that the inwardly facing edge 10I of the opening 10 of these Plates 14 is covered. The cylinder 12 made of ceramic 12 belonging to the shield 11 is dimensioned such that its outer surface directly adjoins the insulating blocks 2I. The cylinder 12 is made of Al₂0₃, mullite, MgAl₂O₄ or another refractory material with the same properties. It is connected to the insulating stones 2I via a refractory cement 16. The refractory cement is one based on Al₂0₃ which binds hydraulically. The edge 12I of the cylinder 12 facing the interior 1R is placed on the immediately adjacent plates 14. Since the plates 14 are guided up to the protective tube 4 of the heating element 3, this creates a step on which the cylinder 12 with its edge 12I can be placed. Between the edge 12I of the cylinder 12 and the plates 14, a seal 15 made of fibers is arranged, which is designed as a mat or cord. This creates a further protection of the insulating stones 2I against the corrosive gases 30. On the outwardly facing edge 10A of the opening 10 and the edge 12A of the cylinder 12, the annular plate 13 made of stainless steel is placed, which is directly adjacent to the protective tube 4. The plate 13 also lies on the surface 2S of the ceiling 2. One or more fiber seals 17 are arranged between the plate 13 and the edge 10A of the opening, the edge 12A of the cylinder 12 and the surface 2S of the ceiling 2. These seals 17 are designed as mats. Lines with equivalent properties can also be used as seals. With the help of the seals 17 is prevented that gases 30 can escape from the deglor furnace 1 to the outside. The heating element 3 is mounted on the surface of the plate 13 in such a way that the flange 4F, which surrounds the protective tube 4, is placed on the plate 13. Due to the weight of the protective tube 4, the plate 13 is pressed against the cylinder 12 and the edge 10A of the opening 10, so that a further sealing of the deglor furnace 1 is thereby achieved.
