Abstract

The system comprises uprights (1,1') which are fixed in position in the building, with shelves or cupboards etc. being inserted between them (3,19). The side surfaces (25a,25b) towards each other of the uprights contain opposite horizontal supporting grooves (2) open to the front, and from which end the shelves etc. are inserted in them, these being held by friction so as to prevent undesired horizontal movement. The groove width can be only slightly greater than the thickness of the inserted shelf ends. Friction can be generated by an inserted rubber strip compressed in the horizontal direction between the groove bottom and the shelf edge.

Description

The invention relates to a furniture system in the form of a modular system from relatively free individual parts that can be combined with one another, which is basically based on the principle the well-known so-called tunnel walls is built. Such gallery walls consist of essentially vertical, load-bearing Elements, the so-called studs, which are more sheet-like Structures or more columnar structures can act, as well as essentially Insert parts inserted horizontally between two adjacent tunnels. At These insert parts can be shelves for shelving systems generate, or around cabinet bodies, around individual cabinet areas within to produce such a tunnel wall.

Such gallery walls can be both along walls, as shelving systems or cabinet systems can be arranged, or standing freely in the room, as so-called room dividers.

The known tunnel wall systems, however, require depending on the use Shelf system, cupboard system, room divider comparatively different designed individual parts, because depending on the intended use one or several sides of the studs have to be drilled, In addition to the front face, the rear face can also be veneered must and the like.

So zeigt DE-A-20 34 731 ein Möbelsystem mit vertikalen Stollen und horizontal in Tragnuten einschiebbaren Einsatzteilen.DE-A-20 34 731 shows a furniture system with vertical studs and horizontally in Insertable insert parts.

Furthermore, a furniture system is known from DE-U-8 905 400, where the vertical Studs through structural floors firmly connected to it in the horizontal direction are connected to a stable whole.

It is therefore the object according to the invention to create a furniture system which is simple and inexpensive to manufacture and assemble, and with optically changed as little effort as possible and adapted the circumstances can be.

The connection of the insert parts with the studs should still be sufficient be safe and as resilient as possible to be used in commercial applications Area, that is, to equip office space or sales rooms can.

There is also the task of creating a method for insert parts as quickly as possible and yet safely and inexpensively with the studs one To connect the furniture system.

This object is achieved by the features of claim 1 and 15 solved. Advantageous embodiments result from the subclaims.

Compared to the normal solution, in the tunnels of a furniture system vertically running rows of holes and at the desired height in the corresponding pins protruding holes, so-called shelf supports on which the insert parts, especially the shelves, are placed can be produced efficiently, but visually unappealing and only low load capacity.

In contrast, are grooves that extend essentially over the entire depth of the Extend studs, much more resilient, but still the studs far from being as deep as the insert parts. Rather, these can be both protrude forwards and backwards over the studs, which is especially the case with systems to be attached to the wall means that the center of gravity of the Insert parts, especially if they are loaded, lies in front of the tunnels, and so that the horizontally inserted e.g. Shelf due to this Lever effect is jammed.

This clamping effect, on the other hand, occurs when there is a central load as room dividers used, shelves, not on. In this case, horizontal could Unintentionally load with the same force as when inserting Push out the shelves because the friction caused by the load on the individual shelves is only slightly increased.

In this case in particular, unintentional pushing out or Pulling out the insert parts prevented by friction bodies between the Groove base and the insert parts are arranged, and at least on their Surface made of a material with good static friction. This Friction bodies are arranged so that they are under pressure between the bottom of the Support grooves and the side surfaces of the insert parts protruding into the support grooves are arranged.

A particularly simple, inexpensive and easy-to-use form of a such a friction body is a piece of a rubber cord, the assembly especially in the case of use as a room divider is simplified in that the rubber cord during the insertion of the shelves in the longitudinal direction stretched and thereby reduced in cross section, so that no pressure in the transverse direction between the bottom of the groove and the shelf to be inserted is available. Only after the shelf is in position does the longitudinal expansion the rubber cord ends, and this presses due to its inherent elasticity in the transverse direction between the bottom of the groove and the shelf. The protruding ends the rubber cord can be cut.

However, it is also conceivable to have a non-circular friction body, for example elliptical, cross section, with a standing cross section inserting one Shelf is not prevented in the groove, but one after rotation by 90 ° Compression in the transverse direction causes.

When used as a wall system in which the shelves or others Insert parts end flush with the back surface of the studs, but forward protruding significantly beyond this is usually the existing friction between the inserted shelf and the carrying grooves sufficient, their dimensional difference should be about 2/10 mm, which with a length of the groove of about 8-10 cm already provides sufficient static friction, and especially if that Insert part several times the depth of the studs over this to the front protrudes.

In the case of insert parts other than shelves, the horizontal parts protrude the insert parts, e.g. Bottom and top of a cabinet body, laterally above the side surfaces of the body turn out to get into the carry grooves to be able to extend. The cabinet body can preferably be installed take place only after inserting two spaced shelves then serve as the bottom and top of the cabinet body, which by side walls and doors, etc. only then added to the cabinet body becomes.

A problem with such a cabinet body can be that sufficiently high design of the cabinet body within the cabinet body again individual shelves should be available, but depending on Required to be decomposable. Are those that form the bottom and the lid part Shelves no wider than the clear distance from a carrier groove to that of the opposite carrier groove, there is one attached to the cabinet body Door even in the open state in this area, so that in the support grooves Additional shelves that were used and were not placed inside the cabinet body can be removed without removing the entire cabinet body from the Remove studs.

This problem is caused by a widening of the bottom and the top lid fixed a cabinet body. The corresponding special shelves are compared to the clear distance between the grooves in the area in front of the studs widened accordingly so that the pivot point of the door or doors in the ground or cover part can be so far outside that a push in when the door is open and replacing the normal ones inside the cabinet body 19 Shelves 3 is possible.

The side walls for the cabinet body can be in appropriate, mostly vertical grooves of the floor and of the outside of the doors Lid part can be adjusted.

The assembly is when using special single hinges for the upper and lower pivot point very simple, which is simply pushed onto the corner of the door be, and are stored with a hinge pin in the bottom or cover part. These hinges can initially without the door in the floor and the cover part be adjusted, whereupon the door is inserted into the hinge and there is fixed by means of a clamping screw.

A preferred solution when choosing the material is to make the studs so-called medium-density fiberboard (MDF) to produce, which after Cutting the support grooves can be dispensed with, and thereby the studs in the desired color design can be created particularly inexpensively are. Glass shelves are used in particular as shelves.

The visual design of the furniture system is limited - especially with the Use of glass plates as shelves - therefore only on the design the tunnel. As a result, they can very well meet the visual requirements in individual cases be adjusted by in the front surface of the symmetrically designed studs a pilaster groove is incorporated, which allows you to insert one with one appropriate extension equipped, essentially over the entire The length of the tunnels extends the pilaster strips, i.e. an attachment part.

This pilaster strip can with regard to its cross-sectional shape, its color design and their surface design simple and according to the individual case be produced inexpensively adapted. The pilaster strip can have a width have less than the distance between the two sides in the side walls the grooves made in the stud. But it can also have such a width that partially covers the groove, for example those lying in the grooves Friction body. This can be useful, for example, if Insert the e.g. Shelves of the friction body parallel to the shelf is inserted, so there is little or no relative movement between the Friction body and the shelf takes place, however, sliding friction between the friction body and the bottom of the groove. For this it is necessary that the greater static friction or sliding friction between the friction body and the Front of the shelf is present, with a rubber cord for example by corrugating the side face of the shelf is possible, which runs transverse to the direction of insertion.

If, in this case, the pilaster strips are also attached to the front, Covering the friction body, and the pilaster in addition to the stud against Pulling out is locked, the pilaster strip also provides a partially positive fit Securing against a relative movement between the friction body and groove, and pulling out the shelves.

The support grooves are preferably from the The front surface is continuously formed up to the back surface of the studs. At However, the studs are not only used as a room divider to the central level, the lies symmetrically between the two side surfaces equipped with grooves trained, but also to the transverse plane for this. Are the studs against Intended use as a wall system is in the back surface instead of one Lisenennut provided at least one cable groove. This can be on the side of the middle do not lie around the inserted cables when screwing through the Median plane occurs to damage, or it can be so wide that it extends over the middle area.

In this case, the screw connection is not a simple hole through the To provide the body of the studs, but the hole is made with a Screw sleeve equipped, which protrudes in the cable groove and to the rear End of the stud protrudes so that the cables inserted into the cable groove through the Protected screw sleeve from damage when screwing the stud are.

When arranged to the side of the center, the cable groove can extend into the side surface of the stud reaches in. The cable is then when looking at the furniture system at an angle visible, but not from the front, and it is very easy to assemble, by only pulling the existing shelves slightly forward must be possible to insert a cable in the cable groove behind do. By pushing the shelves back completely the cables then laterally in the area outside the support grooves in the bottom of the Cable groove kept pushed back.

The support grooves are very easy to fit by simply cutting them out or Milled out of a solid, rod-shaped block that is about 9 cm deep and 6 cm wide. Another option, however, is to take the stud out to produce a cuboid bar as a base body, on the side surfaces Grooves are created by stacking and spacing them in height Support plates are attached, the distance from each other forms the support grooves. This manufacturing option is more complex, but gives more options in the color design and is also easier to change afterwards:

Because normally the grooves are in regular normal Spaces one above the other along the side walls of the studs, but in some areas, such as the area for attaching desk surfaces or standing desk writing surfaces that are significantly closer to one another to offer more precise adjustment options. This can be done on the side Support plates by replacing these support plates with smaller ones Height can be reached subsequently.

It is also possible with the attached support plates, for example after to protrude over the stud at the front, and thus a much better one To provide support for the insert parts inserted above.

In addition, the proposed furniture system can not only be used in series, e.g. along a wall, but also around corners. It is true an insertion of the corner plates due to the lack of parallelism of the side Grooving is no longer possible. However, this can be achieved again by using the Corner plate cannot be inserted directly into the receiving carrier grooves, but are kept at their height, and only then a so-called Y-rail is inserted between the support groove and corner plate by pushing in along the Direction of the Tragnut. To establish this positive connection, points this Y-rail, usually made of metal, has an extension on one side, which fits exactly into the support groove, and one on the opposite side Groove into which the corner plate in turn fits, preferably a groove according to the dimensions of the support grooves on the side walls of the studs.

As the insert parts themselves, the most varied can be used for residential purposes Objects such as shelves for shelves, a cabinet body with side protruding floor and cover plate, a wardrobe rail with side, radially striving legs that are inserted into the support grooves, and Serve something similar. Also very protruding table tops with additional from the Studs arranged at a distance, supporting sleeves can be used at any time become.

In this way, the furniture system according to the invention is extremely variable can be used despite only a small number of different individual parts. Is also through the subsequent exchange or redesign of pilaster strips and capitals optical change possible with little effort.

The same applies to the use of capitals on the upper faces of the Studs that are used when used as a wall system by no spreading against which room ceilings are necessary can be used.

The use of commercially available items is especially for use in shopfitting so-called front hanger desirable. It is horizontal to the front or diagonally downwards reaching support rods, on which Clothing staggered one behind the other, hanging on hangers, on display can be, or other objects. Such front hangers exist mostly made of metal or stable plastic, and are available in different selections and from different system manufacturers ... These front hangers are usually included two latches lying side by side or one below the other accordingly positioned openings of an existing shelf system Holding plate hooked in.

In the present furniture system, these openings are one in the front panel essential U-shaped U-adapter available, which then from the front to one Stollen can be pushed on, and with appropriate, inside the U-adapter protrusions are supported in the support grooves of a gallery.

Such a U-adapter can be bent on a single U-shaped steel sheet or the legs of the U-adapter on the one hand and the front panel on the other hand, there are separate parts cut from sheet steel, which are made up by conventional means half of the connecting slots in the individual part are form-fitting can be nested. The slots must be so narrow that the play of this connection is small enough to divide the to avoid both legs to a V shape.

Manufacturing in one piece from sheet steel is possible by either the The height of the adapter is dimensioned such that both from the top edge and from the lower edge from the entire length of the support grooves Inside the adapter are possible. If doing so on a side wall of the stud Always only one groove is to be used, these bends in the Length range of the groove can be staggered at different heights, so that there is this inflection in the front area according to the load is supported on the lower flank of the support groove, and in the rear area on the upper Flank.

The tunnel shown in FIG. 1 points in its facing away from each other side surfaces 25a, 25b, each of which indicate adjacent studs in which shelves 3a to 3f are inserted.

In the upper half of the picture it can be seen that the stud 1 from its front surface is screwed to the wall behind by means of a screw 8. The head the screw 8 is sunk in a slightly larger screw recess 7, the is even deeper than the Lisenennut 6, which is centered in the front surface of the stud 1 is located and for inserting and thus fastening in the upper part of the picture shown pilaster 5 serves. This attachment part can have different colors and Have shape designs and therefore mainly serves the optical Design of the visible front surface of the tunnel 1 and covering the Screws 8.

As can be seen, the pilaster strips - as shown on the left side of pilaster strips 5 - Are of such a width that they only extend to the start of the support grooves 2 is approaching, or - as shown in the right half of the picture - the support grooves 2 partially overlapped so that they are close to the free end of the shelf 3 reaches. This makes sense if there is a gap between the bottom of the groove and the shelf 3 a friction body is inserted.

This can be a rubber cord 4 ', as in the right one 1, together with the shelf 3b inserted and deformed only relatively little into an oval, and also the friction between the bottom of the groove and the shelf 3b increases only moderately. In contrast, it is the rubber cord 4 shown at the top left, one heavily deformed, in the initial state also round, rubber cord, which must be deformed so much that an insertion together with the Shelf 3a is hardly possible anymore. The contribution is then made by the rubber cord 4 before inserting the shelf 3a on the bottom of the groove placed and strongly stretched in the longitudinal direction and thereby reduced in cross-section becomes. In this tensioned state the rubber cord 4 then becomes the shelf 3a inserted, as also in Fig. 3 based on the bottom right Shelf 3 and the rubber cord 4 there.

In Fig. 1 is also the capital 11, consisting of three spaced capitals 11a, 11b, 11c, which can be seen on the upper end face of the stud 1 sits and has a design function.

These capital plates can - as shown in Fig. 2 - for example in protrude towards the front of the tunnel 1.

In the lower left half of Fig. 1, the support grooves 2 - in contrast to the remaining parts of Fig. 1 - from distances between individual, on the smooth, continuous side surface 25a 'of the stud 1' put on and fastened Support plates 12.

The difficulty here is in the exact mounting of the individual panels 12 that the intermediate grooves 2 with the for the function of the Carrying system necessary accuracy arise with regard to their groove width. The advantage, however, is that the support plates 12 are not only designed in color can be, but can also consist of a very pressure-resistant material, and thereby the resilience of the insert parts carried thereby is increased.

As can also be seen in FIG. 1, the normal distance 14 of the support grooves 2 is over the length of the studs 1 is essentially always uniform. Only in certain Areas - as can be seen at the top right in FIG. 1 - are in contrast again subdivided, reduced paragraph 15 selected for the support grooves if in this Area a more precise adjustment of the height of the insert parts is necessary, such as for writing boards, standing desk boards and the like.

The Y-rail 13 shown at the bottom left in FIG. 1 will be described later with reference to FIG. 3 explained in more detail.

In the lower right part of Fig. 1 is a furniture body 19 as an insert shown, the bottom of the shelf 3f and the upper end the shelf 3d consists. In between is the body 19 through side walls and e.g. a door 20 to a cabinet body 19 added.

With precise manufacture of the cabinet body 19 with regard to the spacing of the parts 3d and 3f, it can be inserted as a whole between the studs. Possible however, the separate insertion is initially only of the shelves 3d and 3f, and the subsequent construction of the cabinet body 19 between them Shelves.

In the upper half of the figure. 1, this cable groove 10 is offset so that it is in the view 1 does not consider either the area of the central pilaster strip 6 and that there arranged screw recesses 7, the outer ones Support grooves 2. In this way, the stud 1 Cables can be pulled up, which is then very easy by manually releasing them can be moved laterally to an insert or to the capital.

In contrast, in the lower half of FIG. 1 there is a very wide center Cable groove 10 'arranged. To the cables inserted there when screwing the Protect stud 1 from damage by screw 8 is in the hole in the stud 1, which serves to receive the screw 8, a screw sleeve 9 used, as can be seen better in FIG. 2. This screw sleeve 9 protrudes from the Groove bottom of the cable groove 10 protrudes and ends with the rearmost edge of the stud 1. The cables inserted into the cable groove 10 must therefore necessarily be around Screw sleeve 9 are put around and are therefore protected from damage protected.

In Fig. 2, the furniture system of Fig. 1 is in a side view, ie with a view of the Side surface 25a shown. Here is in the upper half of the picture next to the Attachment by, the screw 8 in the wall 18 also the clear, wide Project the shelves 3b forward over the front surface 26 of the stud 1 detect.

In the lower half of the picture, tunnel 1 is not only without a pilaster strip attached, but also shown in use as a room divider, i.e. without a rear panel Attachment to a wall. The body 19 protrudes as an insert Is used, both forwards and backwards via the stud 1 out.

3 shows a set-up of a furniture system in plan:
While in the upper part of the picture the lugs 1 are set up along a wall 18 and firmly connected to it, the lower right lug 1 is at least partially free in the room.

In the upper left half of Fig. 3 are a very possible use well over the front surface 26 of the studs 1 excellent table top 22 as Inserted part, usually at the free end by one or more Feet 23 must be supported.

Another possibility is that positioned in front of the front surface 26 of the studs 1 Cloakroom rod 16, which struts radially from it to the rear Leg 17 is inserted into the support grooves of the studs 1.

The assembly of a corner plate 24 is shown in the upper right part of FIG. 3.

In this case, the studs 1 adjoining the corner plate 24 and thus also the studs the support plate 24 carrying support grooves at right angles to each other, so that a Inserting the support plate would theoretically only be possible from the rear, which is however in usually prevented by an existing wall there.

It is still possible to attach the corner plates by dimensioning them in this way are that in the assembled state they are not positioned in the support grooves of the Project corner plate 24 supporting studs 1, but at a distance from them end up. In this target position is between the corresponding support groove 2 and corresponding outer edge of the corner plate 24 a Y-rail 13 inserted where it is shown in the lower left corner of FIG. 1. This Y-rail 13 fits its extension 35 exactly in the support groove 2 of the stud 1, and has opposite a groove 36, in which in turn the corresponding outer edge of the corner plate 24 or an analog insert part fits exactly. As a rule, this groove becomes 36 have the same dimensions as the support grooves 2 of the studs 1. The Y-rail 13 can, for example, for the sake of the weakest possible dimensioning consist of aluminum profile.

In dem Frontblech 30 des Adapters sind die Einhängeöffnungen 34 für handelsübliche Fronthänger 38 verschiedener Systeme untergebracht.4 shows a U-shaped adapter, the free-ended legs 31, 31 'have such a clear distance that a stud 1 just in between fits. In the front plate 30 of the adapter, the hanging openings 34 are for commercial front hangers housed 38 different systems.

The lateral legs 30, 31 each point into the interior of the adapter 29 inward bends 32, 33, which are in a support groove 2 of a stud 1 support. As a result, only one such on each side wall 25a, 25b of the stud 1 Tragnut 1 should be used, and the thickness of the plate of the adapter very much is smaller than the width of a groove 2, the one provided with the bends, e.g. lower edge of the legs 30, 31 cranked. The higher, rear part shows a bend 33, which is thus on the upper flank of the support groove 2 in whose rear area supports, and the lower lying area a bend 32, located on the lower flank of the support groove 2 in its front area supported on the front hanger 38 in accordance with the weight load. Since only one Tragnut 2 is used on each side of the stud, the legs 31, 31 'from the upper area of the front panel 30 sloping downward to the rear.

In den Figuren 5a und 5b sind die Schenkel einerseits sowie das Frontblech 30 andererseits einer mehrteiligen Adapter-Konstruktion dargestellt.5a and 5b, the legs are on the one hand and the front plate 30 on the other hand, a multi-part adapter construction is shown.

The legs 31, 31 'are angular plate-shaped and have such a height the bends 32, 33 present on the upper edge and on the lower edge on the adjacent flanks of two different carrier grooves 2 support the same side of a tunnel. Each can do this to each other closest or most distant from each other Cheeks of two carry grooves are different in height. Furthermore, the Leg 31 in the inserted state lying in front of the tunnel 1 from above forth down to the middle of the connecting slot 39, in which a transverse front panel 30, which was brought in from below accordingly Has connecting slots 39 ', can be used positively with little play.

In Fig. 6a and 6b, a cabinet body 19 is shown with an insert that the The advantage is that after opening the door without removing the cabinet body 19 from the tunnels the existing shelves within the cabinet body 3 in the height can be moved, so that the support grooves are completely pulled out and can be inserted again. For this purpose - as best in the supervision in Fig. 6a - the single or double door 20 with a hinge 21 as far outside in the bottom of the cabinet body 19 that after completely opening the door 20, the inner shelves 3 not with the door 20 collide.

For this purpose, the floor in front of the front surface of the studs 1 is as far to the side widened that the pivot point of the hinge 21 placed far enough outside can be. Preferably, a corresponding groove in the bottom can also be used and an opposite groove of the lid of the cabinet body 19 has a side wall 40 can be used easily.

In order to achieve the necessary thickness and base and cover part e.g. for insertion of the hinges 21, this can - as in Fig. 6b recognize - be significantly thicker than the height of a support groove 2. By Corresponding millings in the rear, the lug 1 and thus the support grooves facing area can be the thickness of the bottom or lid of the cabinet body and the length of a support groove 2 are reduced so far that they are the width of the Tragnut 2 corresponds.

The hinges 21 are - especially when using glass panes as Doors - designed so that they are simply pushed onto the corner of a door 20 and then be fixed with a clamping screw. This makes it possible to look for the insertion of the initially only from the bottom, lid and side walls existing body in the studs the individual hinges without door 20 in the insert the appropriate mounting hole in the base and lid and only then push the door 20 back into the hinges 21 and to clamp.

Due to the possibility of the bottom and especially the lid of a to form such a cabinet body significantly thicker than the height of a support groove 2 also the double-layered, hollow design, in particular of a cover Cabinet body possible, so that lighting devices within the lid etc. can be accommodated, the inside of the cabinet body 19th illuminate.
