So the shoe is fixed in all directions.

Abstract

The connection has a base (3) which is fixed to the snow-board by screws (6) and slots (4). The angle of connection is variable to the board. The connection also comprises two lateral wedge gibs (5,7) which grip into groove in the sole profile and hold it in position. One wedge gib (7) is movably arranged to enable fitting for larger boots. A hard component can be inserted in the soft sole of the boot to increase the strength of the joint.

Description

  • Fig. 1 Ansicht eines Schuhs
  • Fig. 2 Ansicht der Bindung räumlich
  • Fig. 3 Ansicht der Bindung seitlich
  • Fig. 4 Das Zusammenführen der beiden Elemente aus Fig. 1 und Fig. 2
The invention relates to a fixed connection between a snowboard and a special, partially also part of the invention shoe, which by its nature is a so-called soft boot.
With the bindings known so far, which have the task of firmly connecting a soft boot to a snowboard, the shoe is placed in a plastic shell and then fixed by means of 2-3 buckles. The present invention offers the possibility of firmly connecting a soft boot to the snowboard without a shell and buckles which run over the foot.
Only the sole is fixed in the binding, but remains largely soft, so that the hallmark of a soft boot is retained. For example, " soft" rubber can be mentioned here. For example, hard plastic can be assumed to be " hard". The invention can of course also be applied to shoes with a hard sole. Another special feature of the binding is that the system accesses the shoe from the side.
The invention is represented by:
  • Fig. 1 view of a shoe
  • Fig. 2 view of the binding spatially
  • Fig. 3 side view of the binding
  • 4 The merging of the two elements from FIGS. 1 and 2

Die Nut schließt am Zehenende des harten Elements ab.Fig. 1 shows any soft boot with a hard sole in places. Only the part of the shoe marked with number 1 is made of harder material. Furthermore, a groove (2) leads from the heel end of the shoe to the hardened middle part (1). The groove merges into the harder part and is continued there. The groove closes at the toe end of the hard element.

Fig. 2 zeigt die Bindung in räumlicher Darstellung.
Fig. 2 shows the binding in a spatial representation. The base plate (3) is connected directly to the snowboard using screws and the elongated holes (4). Other solutions are also conceivable, such as a turntable or a solution without a base plate. It is only important when fastening that the angle of the binding to the board is variable.
The wedges (5), (7) are designed so that they reach into the profile of the sole and fix it. One wedge (7) is movably mounted to enable the size of the shoe to be adjusted. A suitable solution here are the elongated holes with the screws (6) that fix the wedge on the base plate.
When closed, the buckle (8) prevents the binding from releasing the shoe.
Fig. 3 shows the binding again in the front view. The Arabic numerals from FIG. 2 apply to FIG. 3 in the same way. The wedge shape of the profiles (5) (7) seems reasonable, but any other profile shape is also conceivable.

FIG. 4 shows the assembly of the elements shown in FIGS. 1-3. This is done by inserting the groove (2) of the shoe into the profiles (5) (7) of the binding. The shoe is pushed back until the middle part (1) is congruent with the wedges (5) (7).
Finally, a buckle (8) is closed, which prevents the shoe from slipping out in the toe direction. So the shoe is fixed in all directions.

Claims (2)

Feste Verbindung eines Snowboards mit einem Schuh, gekennzeichnet durch den seitlichen Zugriff zweier Profile in eine sich in der Schuhsohle befindliche Nut.Fixed connection of a snowboard to a shoe, characterized by the lateral access of two profiles in a groove in the sole of the shoe. Furthermore, the insertion of a hard element into the soft sole for the purpose of connection stability between the binding and the shoe.
