Claims (11)

  1. A touring binding for a ski, comprising:
    a) a toe retainer (1) featuring a sole retainer (2), a base (3) and a tensing device (4), wherein the sole retainer (2) comprises engaging elements (6) which engage with complementary engaging elements (7) on longitudinal sides of a sole (8) and connect the sole (8) to the ski in a walking position and a skiing position;
    b) a mechanism (5) for opening and closing the sole retainer (2); and
    c) a stepping-in aid (9) which is or can be connected to the toe retainer (1) and forms an abutment (10) for a toe end of the sole (8),
    characterised in that
    d) a distance between the abutment (10) and the sole retainer (2) can be set in and counter to the skiing direction.
  2. The touring binding according to Claim 1, wherein the stepping-in aid (9) comprises the abutment (10), a guiding element (11) and a setting element (12).
  3. The touring binding according to Claim 2, wherein the guiding element (11) is formed in one piece with the abutment (10) and protrudes substantially perpendicularly from the abutment (10).
  4. The touring binding according to any one of Claims 2 and 3, wherein the guiding element (11) comprises an elongated hole (14).
  5. The touring binding according to any one of the preceding three claims, wherein the setting element (12) is or can be connected to the abutment (10).
  6. The touring binding according to any one of Claims 4 and 5, wherein at least two pins (13) which are connected to the sole retainer (2) engage with or protrude through the elongated hole (14) and guide the stepping-in aid (9) substantially parallel to a surface of the base (3) and prevent the stepping-in aid (9) from tilting transverse to the base (3).
  7. The touring binding according to any one of the preceding five claims, wherein the sole retainer (2) forms a receptacle (15) or supporting surface (15) for an end of the setting element (12) which is a rear end in the skiing direction.
  8. The touring binding according to the preceding claim, wherein the setting element (12) is a screw featuring a screw head and a threaded screw shaft, and the thread of the setting element (12) can be screwed in a complementary thread formed in the receptacle (15).
  9. The touring binding according to the preceding claim, wherein the screw head is or can be fixedly connected to the abutment (10), such that the abutment (10) is moved towards or, respectively, away from the sole retainer (2) together with the screw head when the setting element (12) is screwed.
  10. The touring binding according to Claim 6, wherein the pins (13) are cylindrical guides (13) for spring elements (16) of the tensing device (4), and a width of the elongated hole (14) substantially corresponds to the diameter of the guides (13).
  11. The touring binding according to Claim 4, wherein the guiding element (11) comprises an opening, which can preferably be closed again, in a longitudinal side of the elongated hole (14), such that the stepping-in aid (9) can be latterly integrated into a toe retainer (1).
