Description

The invention relates to a ski od. Like. Snow gliding device with a mounted on the ski surface mounting aid in the form of a binding plate for a binding or parts thereof, according to the preamble of claim 1. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a method for producing such a ski and a corresponding mounting aid as such.

The arrangement of mounting aids in the form of so-called binding plates on the top surface of a ski is well known. The binding plate is fastened to the ski deck using screws. In order for the screws to have a sufficiently large hold in the ski or ski body, the ski body must be reinforced in the attachment area of the binding plate separately. This is usually done in that in the binding area of a ski or snowboard, a solid wood core or a separate mounting plate made of plastic or metal is integrated. It is obvious that such reinforcing inserts have a considerable influence on the bending and torsional stiffness on the one hand and the flexibility of the ski on the other hand. In addition, the ski weight is not inconsiderably increased by the conventional reinforcing inserts. It must also be considered that the binding plates fastened by means of screws are fastened to at least one end in such a way that they are displaceable in the ski longitudinal direction relative to the ski. For this purpose, provided at this end of the binding plate passages for the fastening screws are formed as slots. The mentioned relative mobility between binding plate and ski is mainly necessary because the conventional binding plates usually made of metal, in particular aluminum, and thus have mechanical properties that significantly different are from the mechanical properties of the ski. The mentioned relative mobility in ski longitudinal direction between binding plate and ski affects the handling of the ski, of course, not inconsiderable, so that the conventional constructions are characterized by several manufacturing and driving technical disadvantages, which it is according to the invention to remedy. The above-mentioned prior art is only an example of the US 2002/0105167 A1 pointed.

US 2002/0105167 A1 .As a further prior art may be mentioned the US Pat. No. 6,244,616 B1 such as DE 197 53 451 A1 , In the US Pat. No. 6,244,616 B1 It is already proposed to arrange a so-called "interface" between binding and ski, which is to be integrally connected to the ski, either by screws or by gluing or welding. In the construction according to the US Pat. No. 6,244,616 B1 However, the attachment of the so-called "interface" is only selectively, namely at the front and rear ends. Furthermore, the known "interface" is relatively expensive, especially designed in several parts. Such a construction affects the mechanical properties of an associated ski as negative as a construction, for example according to the US 2002/0105167 A1 ,

The DE 197 53 451 A1 describes and shows a fastening system for ski bindings, which has a holding element connected to a ski, which is releasably connected to a binding plate connected to a ski binding. The mentioned holding element is a slide rail, which can be connected to the ski either by an adhesive or by screws. The binding plate held by the slide is connected by a screw to the ski, so that ultimately a screw connection between the fastening system for a ski binding and the ski body is produced with all the above-mentioned disadvantages.

EP-A-1 366 785 is state of the art under Art. 54 (3) EPC. It is described a glued surface with the ski binding plate, which forms an integral unit with the ski.

Finally, it should be noted on the US-A-5,338,051 , There is proposed a binding mounting plate by friction welding on the top surface of a. To attach ski. For this purpose, the mounting plate as well as the top surface of the ski is made of a material which melts under elevated temperature, such as occurs during friction welding under pressure. This creates an intimate connection between the mounting plate and the ski deck.

Based on the aforementioned prior art, the present invention seeks to provide a ski of the type mentioned above, which can be provided by the manufacturer in a simple manner with mounting aid available and is also characterized in that his driving behavior by the mounting aid is not affected or only insignificantly, and further allows a quick and easy positioning of the ski binding or parts thereof on the mounting aid. Furthermore, it is an object of the present invention to provide a method for producing such a ski and a corresponding mounting aid available.

This object is achieved with respect to a ski by the characterizing features of claim 1, wherein advantageous details of the construction according to the invention are described in claims 2 to 10. With regard to the method according to the invention, reference is made to claim 12 et seq. Claim 15 f. refers to an assembly aid according to the invention.

An essential aspect of the present invention is therefore that the mounting aid, in particular in the form of a binding plate, permanently and fully adhered to the ski deck, in such a way that ski and mounting aid respect. The mechanical properties, such as thermal expansion, tensile strength, bending - And torsional stiffness, etc. form an integral unit. Ski and mounting aid should be connected to each other as if they were a one-piece unit. For this purpose - as mentioned - the mounting aid adhered to the ski deck, and indeed the entire surface. The application of the assembly aid can be procedurally done either after completion of the ski or together with the ski deck.

In the region of the front and / or in the region of the rear portion of the binding plate provisions are still made for the longitudinal positioning and fixing of the binding, for example in the form of longitudinally spaced-apart locking projections or latching openings.

The mounting aid preferably comprises a longitudinal guide with an undercut for the longitudinal positioning and fixing of the binding or of binding parts. A screw fixation of the binding or binding parts in the ski is no longer necessary. Mounting screws only affect the mounting aid. Accordingly, it is no longer necessary to strengthen the ski separately in the binding area. Also, it is of course no longer necessary to form threaded holes through the ski deck surface in the ski body in order to secure binding or binding parts to the ski. Usually this activity is carried out only at the sale of skis. The sale must have separate devices that are expensive to buy and, of course, in the operation. It is necessary for trained service personnel. All these shortcomings can be eliminated with a ski-integrated mounting aid, wherein the mounting aid is preferably designed such that the binding or parts of the binding in the longitudinal direction can be easily moved, positioned and fixed.

In a preferred embodiment, the mounting aid is formed in cross-section either T-shaped or U-shaped plate, wherein in the former case, the transverse web extends at a distance from the ski deck parallel to this, so that the two lateral longitudinal edges of the binding plate formed in this way from the binding housing can be attacked. In the latter embodiment with a U-shaped binding plate, the two upwardly projecting legs thereof are respectively retracted inwardly in a hook-like manner, so that a longitudinal guide rail is produced with longitudinal edges which are undercut on the inside and overlap a binding housing.

The mounting aid or binding plate can be either one-piece or two-piece according to claim 7. In one-piece design, a front and a rear portion of the binding plate by a connecting web od. Like. Connecting element connected together. This connecting element may be narrower and also thin-walled with respect to the front and rear portions. Above all, it is dimensioned to hold the front and rear portions of the binding panel together without disturbing the flexibility of the ski.

VIt is also conceivable that the connecting element in the ski longitudinal direction relative to the front and / or the rear portion of the binding plate is relatively displaceable. This construction is conceivable if the connecting element with the ski deck is not firmly connected, in particular not glued. V

The mounting aid is preferably made of a plastic, wood laminate, plastic-wood and / or metal laminate. It is crucial that the assembly aid has approximately the same properties as the associated section of the ski with regard to flexibility and torsion as well as thermal expansion.

Die Klebschicht soll also kein Dämpfungs-Volumen definieren. It should also be noted that when gluing the mounting aid, the adhesive layer is made extremely thin. It should have a maximum of 5-10% of the thickness of the mounting plate. The adhesive layer should therefore not define a damping volume. The inventively provided full-surface bonding is moreover ensured that no voltage peaks between mounting aid and ski arise, which can lead to an overload up to the breakage of the ski.

The mounting aid preferably also has threaded holes for fixing a binding or binding parts. Also, the mounting aid may have transverse to the ski longitudinal direction extending locking ribs, which cooperates with corresponding clamping wedges on the binding or on binding parts.

In the Fig. 1 shown in plan view of an assembly aid in the form of a binding plate 10 consists of a front portion 11, a rear portion 12 and a central connecting portion 13 which is formed opposite the front and rear portion of narrower and smaller wall thickness (see Fig. 2 ). The three sections are integrally connected to each other and are preferably made of a weather-resistant plastic material, which gives the binding plate in the illustrated embodiment and dimensioning mechanical properties that corresponds to those of the ski in the middle binding section. In the FIGS. 3 and 4 the binding portion of the ski associated with the binding plate 10 is designated by the reference numeral 23.

At the bottom or at the ski deck 32 ( Fig. 4 ) facing side, the binding plate 10 downwardly projecting warts or peg-shaped projections 24, 25, 26, not with in the ski deck 32 of the individual not closer skis trained complementary recesses correspond. The projections 24, 25, 26 provide additional security for an integral attachment of the binding plate 10 on the ski deck 32. As already stated above, the binding plate 10 should be welded over its entire surface to the ski deck 32. In 3 and 4 the corresponding adhesive layer is identified by the reference numeral 33. The adhesive layer 33 is formed as thin as possible in order to ensure the closest possible connection of the binding plate 10 on the ski or its top surface. The binding plate should be connected in one piece with the ski. In extreme cases, it is even possible to apply the binding plate directly on top of Skikern and encapsulate with the Skideckflächenbelag. This technology is particularly suitable in connection with so-called "skis ski", in which the ski deck is pulled over the side cheeks to near the tread of the ski.

Position des Schuhabsatzes 30 (Fig. 4).As FIG. 3 can be seen very well, the front portion 11 of the binding plate 10 is formed with an approximately T-shaped cross-section, wherein the transverse web laterally projecting longitudinal edges defined 19, 20, along which a front portion 11 associated with the bond 28 (see Fig. 4 ) back and forth, ie positionable and can be fixed by means not shown here clamping screws. In the binding 28 according to Fig. 4 is a cross-country binding, ie a binding for connection of the front end of a shoe so that the heel or the heel is freely raised. Accordingly, the rear portion 12 of the binding plate 10 is also formed only for attachment of a heel plate. For this purpose, the rear portion 12 has three longitudinally spaced threaded bores 16, 17, 18. These allow a suitable positioning of a heel plate in the longitudinal direction of the ski depending on the shoe size or position of the shoe heel 30 (FIG. Fig. 4 ).

Incidentally, the front portion 11 of the binding plate 10 of the shoe front sole 29 ( Fig. 4 ). The connecting portion 13 is located in the region of the arch of the foot between the front sole and heel. In Fig. 4 the associated shoe is only indicated by dashed lines and provided with the reference numeral 34.

These can also protrude laterally beyond the main body of the binding plate 10 as the longitudinal edges 19, 20 of the front portion 11 of the binding plate 10. However, if the rear portion 12 of the binding plate 10 only serves to attach a heel plate, the aforementioned formation of the longitudinal edges 21, 22nd not mandatory. The longitudinal positioning of the heel plate is effected by appropriate assignment to the spaced-apart threaded bores 16, 17, 18th

The front portion 11 of the binding plate 10 is thus formed as a longitudinal guide with undercut for longitudinal positioning and fixing a binding 28 or parts thereof, the undercuts 35, 36 are formed by the longitudinal side edges 19, 20 of the front portion 11 of the binding plate 10 laterally over protrude from the base body of the binding plate or the front portion 11 thereof, and at a distance from the ski deck 32, as in Fig. 3 is shown. The undercuts 35, 36 are engaged by the housing of the binding 28.

Alternatively, the cross-section of the front and / or rear portion 11, 12 of the binding plate 10 may also have a U-shaped cross section, the two upwardly projecting legs are then respectively retracted inwardly, or directed outwardly to an undercut for longitudinal positioning and Fixation of a binding or binding parts to define.

In the embodiment shown here 10 notches 14, 15 are formed on the two longitudinal edges 19, 20 of the front portion 11 of the binding plate, which cooperate with corresponding locking elements on the housing of the binding 28. Thus, a stepwise displacement of the binding 28 in the ski longitudinal direction is possible, preferably without the use of tools. The housing of the binding 28 comprises the latching notches 14, 15 associated latching elements, in particular latching pins which are resiliently biased in the locking position. The elastic bias should be canceled manually by moving the locking pins by means of a pressure-lever mechanism against the action of the elastic bias in the non-latching position.

Then, the housing of the binding 28 can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the ski until the binding-side latching pins engage in the desired latching notches 14, 15 again.

The notches 14, 15 may alternatively be formed on the upper side of the front portion 11 of the binding plate 10. In any case, care must be taken that the locking connection is dimensioned so strong that even with larger loads, the bond 28 remains securely positioned on the binding plate.

At the bottom of the binding plate, a peripheral edge groove 31 is still provided, in which excess adhesive can escape.

In principle, it is also conceivable to form the binding plate as an integral part of the Skideckflächenbelages, i. E. Form the ski deck surface covering in the binding area accordingly. This embodiment would represent the "ski most integral" assembly. Of course, then must be paid to an appropriate dimensioning to ensure the necessary for a firm grip of the bond strength.

The binding plate 10 can be glued on the manufacturer side either after completion of a ski in a separate step on the ski deck. Alternatively, it is also conceivable to position the binding plate with the ski deck surface or the corresponding deck covering after previously adhering to it on the ski body. By gluing between the ski surface and the binding plate, a permanent, i. Also guarantees weather-resistant connection between binding plate and ski deck area.

When bonding the binding plate 10 is preferably the first of the ski deck facing side of the same provided with an adhesive, then the binding plate within a positioning - possibly after previous Removal of a protective film from the adhesive side - to position and stick to the ski surface of the ski.

To increase the bond between the binding plate 10 and the ski deck surface, the ski deck surface can be roughened mechanically or chemically at the bond site prior to application.

The core of the present invention thus lies in a substantially purely frictional connection between mounting aid or binding plate (10) and ski or ski deck surface (32). This frictional connection can be supplemented if necessary by a positive connection, as the above reference to the wart or pin-like projections 24, 25, 26 can be seen.

All disclosed in the application documents features are claimed as essential to the invention, as far as they are new individually or in combination over the prior art.
