Definitions
- the invention relates to a method according to the preamble of claim 1 and a device according to claim 19.
- Such methods and devices are e.g. known from WO 92/14610. There - also for viscose colors - it is recommended to bring the printing ink into direct contact with the cooling device.
- the object of the invention is to prevent smearing of the colors, although short processing times are possible.
- a freeze drying station 11 has a cooling plate 12, which is penetrated by cooling coils 14 near its underside 13. There is liquid nitrogen in the cooling coil 14. Water is in the gaseous state and / or as water vapor and / or as mist in the ambient air 16.
- a hoarfrost layer 17 is deposited on the underside 13.
- "hoarfrost” is understood to mean solid, essentially crystallized water - be it frost, snow, etc.
- the area of the underside 13 is at least as large as the motif to be printed on a textile 18.
- the hoarfrost layer 17 is between 1 and 8 mm thick and is made up of loose ice crystals.
- the hoarfrost layer 17 is the densest on the underside 13 and decreases in its density downwards. It essentially consists of water. This has been reflected there because the ambient air 16 contains water vapor and / or gaseous water and / or mist, which vaporous and / or gaseous and / or misty water, the closer it comes to the bottom 13, the more it cools down and then as Precipitation of ice crystals. However, the ice crystals can also be precipitated by means of resublimation, i.e. without first going through the liquid phase. The thermal conductivity of the hoarfrost layer 17 decreases from top to bottom.
- the freeze drying station 11 is stationary. In the cycle shown there is a pallet 19 and three sandwich layers below the freeze drying station 11, namely an upper aluminum layer 21, a middle plastic layer 22 and a lower aluminum layer 23.
- the pallet 19 can be moved up and to the right alone or in cycles with others.
- a tubular textile 24 is pushed tightly onto the pallet 19, so that at least its upper textile layer 26 lies horizontally and below the underside 13 evenly and without folds.
- the pallet 19 including the textile 18 was moved to the right by a screen printing station, not shown, arranged on the left, so that it lies below the underside 13.
- the upper layer 26 is at its upper area 28 have been printed with a certain water-soluble ink, which, however, essentially remains in the surface area of the upper layer 26 according to FIG seeped down.
- the pallet 19 is pressed upwards according to the arrow 27 with the lifting movement, and pressed against the hoarfrost layer 17 with 0 to 8 bar.
- water molecules from the partial volume of the hoarfrost layer 17 enter the upper region 28 and suddenly freeze there. None remains of the color in the upper area 28 on the hoarfrost layer 17, let alone on the underside 13.
- the palette 19 is first downward, then to the right and then again according to the arrow 29 moved upwards so that it lies directly under a screen printing station 31, which has a screen 32 according to the pattern.
- the second color can then be printed on top layer 26, which color is also water soluble.
- the screen is held in the usual way by a screen printing frame 33.
- the plastic layer 22 splits the aluminum mass of the pallet 19 into smaller partial masses and furthermore the heat transfer from the pallet 19 to the sieve 32 deteriorates. If one presses the upper layer 26 against the hoarfrost layer 17, the aluminum mass naturally also becomes cold. In the screen printing station 31 this metal mass would have the tendency to cool the screen 32.
- the sieve 32 freezes without special measures. The measures could, however, also consist in placing a further layer on the aluminum layer 21, e.g. made of plastic or textile. If the upper layer 26 is now printed a second time, the pallet 19 together with the textile 18 is moved into the second freeze drying station 34 and the second color is frozen there again.
- the upper layer 26 does not become cold at around -200 ° C., for example when operating with liquid nitrogen, but remains much warmer.
- the very cold nitrogen causes the hoarfrost layer 17 to grow again and again even at relatively high cycle speeds.
- the ambient air 16 is hardly or no water is withdrawn, because the water of the respective melting rime layer is not carried out, or in any case insignificant for this process, in which the machine stands.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method according to the preamble of claim 1 and a device according to
Such methods and devices are e.g. known from WO 92/14610. There - also for viscose colors - it is recommended to bring the printing ink into direct contact with the cooling device.
The object of the invention is to prevent smearing of the colors, although short processing times are possible.
According to the invention this is solved by the features evident from the characterizing part of claim 1.
- Fig. 1 Eine Schnittansicht von Gefriertrocknungsstationen und einer Siebdruckstation,
- 1 is a sectional view of freeze drying stations and a screen printing station,
- Fig. 2 shows a schematic section through a textile layer.
According to FIG. 1, a
The
The
This can of course be clocked through several stations, be it in linear motion or as a carousel.
In this method, the
