Abstract

The rod is of aluminium, zinc, copper or alloys of them, or alternatively of plastics or brass. It is formed by a crank-type drawing press for metal or plastics, or by a casting press. It can be in two or more parts, having equipment for moving the curtain in the vertical or horizontal direction, and can also incorporate a lighting system. It can have two stop covers, mountings, curtain hooks, guides to prevent turning, and passages in which the hooks travel. It can be painted or plated without machining, or anodised. It can be packed in a box with transparent sheet material over an inspection window.

Description

Auf dem Markt sind ausziehbare Gardinenstangen zweierlei Typen erhaeltlich. Beide Typen beruhen auf das gleiche Konstruktionsprinzip und weisen folgende Nachteile auf: Sie werden immer aus zwei Blechteilen (Stahl) hergestellt, welche, sobald ihre Lack- und Plattierenbestaendigkeit nachlaesst, anfangen zu rosten.
