  5. Two-chambered reel according to claim 1 or one of the following claims, characterised in that the recess in the reel core leading into the core interior is bounded by one or more support elements for the cord-type material which are disposed along the guide way.
  6. Two-chambered reel according to claim 5, characterised in that there is provided as support element a continuous support involving the formation of a trough-type guide way for the cord-type material.
  7. Two-chambered reel according to claim 6, in which reel flange and reel core consist of metal, characterised in that the trough-type guide way is integrally moulded into the surface of the reel core.
  8. Two-chambered reel according to claim 1 or one of the following claims, characterised in that securing means for the cord-type material are provided along the guide way.
  9. Two-chambered reel according to claim 5, characterised in that tensioning elements are used as securing elements.
  10. Two-chambered reel according to claim 1 or one of the following claims, characterised in that the intermediate flange is disposed displaceable along the reel core.
  11. Two-chambered reel according to claim 1 or one of the following claims, characterised in that the intermediate flange comprises a radially running slot corresponding to the width of the material and whose end facing the reel core emerges in the vicinity of the guide way.
