Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for cutting off simultaneously viscous stock masses, in particular fillers or putty and hardening pastes, which are dispensed from canshaped, containing a movable press lid and provided with closable outflow openings, the containers being arranged in a supporting frame, the centering brackets for the containers and has an extrusion device with simultaneously operable piston rods with piston plates arranged at the ends and displaceable in the interior spaces of the containers in the direction of the outflow openings of the containers
  • a hand-held dispenser for two-component materials with cartridges containing disposable material, disposable mixing head and disposable connecting lines is known from DE-A-2537022.
  • This dispenser is comprised of a pair of cartridges, receptacles of the cans that are open at opposite ends to receive the material-containing and dispensing cartridges through one end, the other end of the cartridge extending through the opposite end of the can, and a cartridge piston in the area the one end of the sleeve is arranged by a piston arrangement with a pair of piston heads, which are provided at the ends of a pair of piston rods and are connected to one another for simultaneous movement, and a base arrangement for fastening the double piston arrangement in order to bring the piston heads into working position to the cartridge pistons, by a Mixing head mounting and mounting arrangement for releasably fastening and holding the mixing head, the two cartridges, the mixing head and the connecting lines for metering, mixing and dispensing the two-component materials being connected to the dispenser and being removable after use for reuse of the
  • the known hand-held dispenser for two-component materials has, in particular, an embodiment according to which two pipe socket-like receiving chambers for the cartridges to be used are provided in a holder, and after the cartridges have been inserted into these receiving chambers, they are conveyed to a support plate hinge-like holders are pivoted so that the cartridges are in the feed path of the plunger.
  • the outlet openings of the cartridges or of the holders projecting from the cartridges are connected via pipes to an output nozzle which is designed as a disposable nozzle and is replaced by a new nozzle after use.
  • a disadvantage of this known dispensing device is that after the cartridges have been emptied, the mixing heads used are filled with filler and hardener paste deposits, which crust or harden when the device is not used for a long time, so that the mixing head must then be replaced.
  • the lines for forwarding the mass to be pressed are not arranged on the support frame, but rather on the opening projection of the container itself, so that the problem of sealing between the support frame and container does not arise. Likewise, the problem does not arise here if the containers release their extrusion mass directly without the interposition of another line.
  • a device for holding a container with a filling device provided on the bottom part thereof for dispensing the contents of the container can be found in US-A-395716.
  • This known device has a stand frame with two mutually parallel support rods as a support for the container. Lateral rises limit the container placed in this way, which is secured in position by means of a locking screw. The contents of the container are dispensed using compressed air. For this reason, the lid part of the container has a firm and airtight connection for the required pressure line, while the bottom part of the container is provided with a perforation designed as a threaded connection as an outlet opening.
  • a disadvantage of this known device is that the filling device must be connected to the container to be emptied in the region of its outlet opening in the base part.
  • the filling device is attached to the bottom part of the container, aligning and centering the container on a filling device fixedly attached to the support frame is not necessary, since this is part of the container.
  • the filling device used is not an integral part of the device carrying the container, but rather represents a special part which, when the container is started up, has to be placed on the peripheral edge delimiting the outflow opening. Viscous fillers can only be pressed out of a container or cartridge using high pressure. The larger the size of the container, the greater the pressure to be applied.
  • a filling device which is only placed on the edge delimiting the outflow opening, can easily leak in the connection area, in particular when high pressures have to be used to squeeze out the contents of the container. If, however, the Filling device by means of a screw thread on the bottom part of the container, then a relatively high amount of work is required to make such a container ready for operation.
  • a device for receiving three cartridges is known, with which the contents of the three cartridges can be pressed out simultaneously.
  • This known device comprises a support frame with centering brackets for the cartridges containing the mass to be dispensed and an extrusion device with simultaneously operable piston rods with piston ends arranged in the interior of the cartridges in the direction of the centering bracket, the cartridges to be used in this device having a cross-sectional shape and dimensions have that correspond to those of the centering brackets.
  • the output of the masses, from the cartridges not shown in IT-A-834936, should be similar to DE-A-2537022 via nozzle-shaped outlet openings, the outlet openings of the three cartridges being arranged quite far apart, so that part of the masses to be mixed when applied to a spatula must flow past the relatively small spatula.
  • this device can be operated by hand and that each individual cartridge must be provided with an outflow spout, since the cartridges are not held in the device exclusively by the support structure, but with the aid of the outflow spouts on the cartridges, which are in corresponding Recesses are held in end limit plates of the supporting frame of the device.
  • the disadvantage of this device is that the device can only be operated by hand and that after the end of the squeezing process, mass still flows from the cartridges, this afterflow can only be stopped when the pressure of the plunger exerting on the mass is released by pulling back the main piston rod .
  • US-A-4033480 describes a device with which two different media can be dispensed simultaneously from two separate containers.
  • This device consists of a base plate with two openings, which are connected to exhaust valves.
  • Two containers are arranged on the base plate and are provided with an outlet opening on the base.
  • the bottoms of the two containers have offsets located on the outside, specifically in the form that these offsets engage in the holes in the base plate when the containers are arranged on the base plate.
  • the bracket-like locking devices provided in this device not only serve to secure the position of the two containers on the base plate, but also to hold the lid parts of the two containers on the containers themselves, since the entire device is operated by means of compressed air.
  • a piston plate is arranged above the mass in the container, which can be acted upon by compressed air in order to be able to press the masses out of the two containers after the discharge valves have been opened.
  • a disadvantage of this device is that the piston plates are actuated in the interior of the two containers by means of compressed air. It cannot be ruled out that compressed air will flow into the space between the piston plate and the container wall, as a complete seal is problematic in the piston plate edge area to the inner wall surface of each container. When emptying the container down to the last remnants of mass, it is therefore unavoidable that these remnants are pressed out of the opened outlet valves with relatively high pressure, and the resulting mass may be splashed.
  • the two containers are centered on their base plates only by the cranks.
  • Each container is simply placed on its base plate, and the container must be moved until the offset provided in the area of the bottom outlet opening of the container engages in the through-hole in the base plate.
  • it is very difficult to move the container on its base plate until the hole is accidentally found in the base plate, so that the external offset in the area of the outlet opening in the bottom part of the container engages in the hole in the base plate.
  • the containers used in this device have offsets formed on the outside of the container base plates in the region of the container outlet openings on the bottom.
  • the offset is therefore not in the plane formed by the base plate of each container.
  • the result of this is that containers designed in this way cannot easily be placed vertically on a flat surface on their bottom side.
  • the direct stacking of such trained containers is also difficult.
  • the lid parts of the container are removable and must be held firmly on the container bodies due to the use of compressed air, which is done by means of the bracket-like locking devices provided.
  • the outlet valves for the two containers are arranged at a relatively large distance from one another, so that the masses cannot be pressed out of the two containers close to one another.
  • the fact that the pressurized pistons are acted upon by gas pressure fixes the containers by forwarding the pressing force of the press pistons to the container bases, the container bases being pressed against the base plates by the pressing force, but the gas pressure forces acting on the container caps must be exceeded Screw buttons and clamps are supported on the support frame and caught.
  • the container lids must not be positively connected to the containers, since otherwise the gas forces acting on the container lids are necessary for the necessary fixation serving press forces would not come into effect, but must be pressed gas-tight against the container using the screw buttons and clamps attached to the support frame. After this, it is always necessary to seal the screw on the container lid using a clamp.
  • a cutting device designed in accordance with the invention in this way essentially consists of two components, namely a support plate with connecting pieces forming the discharge openings for connecting the cutting device to two box-shaped containers containing filler and hardener pastes and with guides for a slide which forms the second component and which is designed such that the dispensing openings are uncovered in the mass dispensing state and the dispensing openings are closed in the closed state so that a simultaneously The outlet openings of the two containers are closed.
  • the slide has cutting knives in order to be able to cut off the discharged masses cleanly from the rest of the mass strand after receiving the desired and required quantities.
  • the cutting device can be placed by means of its connecting piece on the two can-like containers for the stock mass and the hardening paste so that the connecting pieces engage in or overlap the outflow openings when the outflow openings for the two masses are formed by container connections.
  • the cutting device consists of a support plate with two spaced-apart dispensing openings for the stock and the hardening paste, with a connecting piece that is operatively connected to the respective outflow opening of each container being arranged in the area of each dispensing opening the support plate side facing away from the connecting piece is provided with a first guide and a second guide for a slide provided with a handle and closing the discharge openings in the support plate and having two cutting knives movable in the areas of the discharge openings in the support plate.
  • the dispensing openings for the stock mass and the hardening paste are closed or opened, the slide being guided on the support plate in this way is that a perfect function is achieved and an inflow of the masses into the space between the support plate and slide is avoided.
  • the handling of the cutting device designed according to the invention is extremely simple and in no way time-consuming, because the cutting device is inserted with its two connecting pieces into the outflow openings or placed on the discharge ports of the containers forming the outlets, and since the two interacting components of the cutting device made of plastics are expedient, in particular elastic plastics, a tight fit of the connecting piece of the cutting devices is ensured at the outflow openings or dispensing piece of the two containers.
  • the cooperation of the support plate and the slide of the cutting device is due to the inventive design such that the slide is held down with its two cutting blades on the support plate by means of the guides provided in order to achieve an airtight closure of the outflow openings of the two containers in the closed position of the slide. Due to the bead-like guides on the slide, its deformation is prevented, because it has been shown in practice that deformations of parts made of plastic are given in particular by the fact that the solvent contained in the masses or pastes to be mixed with one another by the material of the Diffusing the cutting device, in particular through the material of the slide, and thus changing the material consistency, with the result that the interacting parts are deformed so that leaks can occur.
  • the cutting knife of the slide in particular the cutting knife for the filler, is about 1-2 mm above the end of the guide plate of the support plate on which the cutting knife is guided. This configuration ensures that the cut mass falls off. After the section, the mass remains on the free projecting end of the plate-shaped blank, which forms the guide for the cutting knife for the filler, and can be easily removed after curing.
  • the guidance of the mutually movable parts of the cutting device are such that, in addition to an improvement in the inherent rigidity and stability, the cutting knives are guided flat on their documents.
  • this cutting device designed according to the invention is that when a new container for leveling compound and / or a cartridge for the hardening paste is supplied, this cutting device is also supplied, so that the customer receives a new, clean cutting device that is not contaminated with residues, so that there is no need for time-consuming cleaning of used devices.
