Ventilsteuermittel für Verwendung in einem Verbrennungsmotor mit obenliegender/n Nockenwelle/n, der ein Tellerventil (180) und Nockenmittel aufweist, die eine drehbare Nockenwelle (185) mit einem ersten Bereich (181) und einem zweiten Bereich (182), der einen vom ersten Bereich (181) unterschiedlichen Querschnitt hat, aufweisen, welche Ventilsteuermittel aufweisen:
    erste Nockenstößelmittel (100), die mit dem Tellerventil (180) in Eingriff bringbar sind und mit dem ersten Bereich (181) in Eingriff bringbar sind, welche ersten Nokkenstößelmittel hydraulische Spieleinstellmittel (101A, 101B, 102, 103, 104, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, 111, 112) aufweisen, die ein erstes Glied (101A, 101B), das eine geschlossene Bohrung begrenzt, ein zweites Glied (107), das in der Bohrung des ersten Glieds (101A, 101B) bewegbar ist und mit dem ersten Glied (101A, 101B) eine Kammer (108) mit veränderlichem Volumen für Hyraulikfluid begrenzt, Leitungsmittel (102, 103, 106) zum Ermöglichen von Fluidströmung zur Kammer (108) und Absperr- oder Rückschlagventilmittel (109, 110, 111, 112) zum Steuern der Fluidströmung zur Kammer (108) aufweisen,
    zweite Nockenstößelmittel (150), die relativ zu den ersten Nockenstößelmitteln (100) bewegbar sind und mit dem zweiten Bereich (182) in Eingriff bringbar sind, welche zweiten Nockenstößelmittel (150) eine Bohrung begrenzen, in der die ersten Nockenstößelmittel (100) angeordnet sind, wobei wenigstens ein Teil des ersten Glieds (101A, 101B) der hydraulischen Spieleinstellmittel in der Bohrung gleiten können, und
    Verbindungsmittel (160, 163, 167), damit die ersten (100) und zweiten (150) Nockenstößelmittel miteinander verbunden werden können, wobei bei der Benutzung der Ventilsteuermittel,
    wenn die ersten (100) und die zweiten (150) Nockenstößelmittel nicht verbunden sind, die Bewegung des Tellerventils (180) durch die ersten Nockenstößelmittel (100) gesteuert wird und dem Tellerventil (180) bei jedem Motorzyklus der Hub des ersten Bereichs (181) gegeben wird,
    wenn die ersten (100) und zweiten (150) Nockenstößelmittel verbunden sind, die Bewegung des Tellerventils (180) durch die zweiten Nockenstößelmittel (150) gesteuert wird und dem Tellerventil (180) bei jedem Motorzyklus der Hub des zweiten Bereichs (182) gegeben wird,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß:
    der Querschnitt der Bohrung, die im zweiten Nockenstößelmittel (150) ausgebildet ist, in Form und Größe an den Querschnitt des Teiles des ersten Gliedes (101A, 101B) des hydraulischen Spieleinstellmittels, das in der Bohrung gleiten kann, angepaßt ist,
    das zweite Glied (107) des hydraulischen Spieleinstellmittels am Tellerventil (180) anliegt, und
    Eingriffsmittel (165) an der äußeren Oberfläche des ersten (101A, 101B) Gliedes der hydraulischen Spieleinstellmittel (101A, 101B, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 110, 111, 112) vorgesehen sind, welche Eingriffsmittel (165) es den Verbindungsmitteln (160, 163, 167) ermöglichen, die ersten (100) und zweiten (150) Nockenstößelmittel zu verbinden.
  2. Ventilsteuermittel nach Anspruch 1, bei denen die ersten (100) und zweiten (150) Nockenstößelmittel zylindrisch sind und die ersten Nockenstößelmittel (100) einen Durchmesser im Bereich von 8 bis 18 mm haben.
  3. Ventilsteuermittel nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, bei denen die Eingriffsmittel eine Ausnehmung (165) in der äußeren Oberfläche des ersten Gliedes (101A, 101B) der hydraulischen Spieleinstellmittel aufweisen und bei denen die Verbindunggsmittel (160, 163, 167) einen Verriegelungsstift (160) in den zweiten Nockenstößelmitteln (150) aufweisen, der sich von den zweiten Nockenstößelmitteln (150) erstrecken kann, um mit der Ausnehmung (165) in Eingriff zu kommen.
  4. Ventilsteuermittel nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, bei denen der erste Bereich (181) der Nockenwelle (185) ein erster Nocken mit einem ersten Nockenprofil ist, der zweite Bereich (182) der Nockenwelle (185) ein zweiter Nocken mit einem zweiten Nockenprofil ist, das vom ersten Nockenprofil verschieden ist, die ersten Nokkenstößelmittel (100) einen ersten Nockenstößel, der mit dem ersten Nocken in Eingriff bringbar ist, und die zweiten Nockenstößelmittel (150) einen zweiten Nockenstößel aufweisen, der mit dem zweiten Nocken in Eingriff bringbar ist.
  5. Ventilsteuermittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, bei denen der erste Bereich (181) der Nockenwelle (185) ein Bereich von kreisförmigem Querschnitt ist, der den Ventilmitteln (180) keinen Hub erteilt, der zweite Bereich (182) der Nockenwelle (185) ein Nocken ist und die zweiten Nockenstößelmittel (150) einen zweiten Nockenstößel aufweisen, der mit dem Nocken in Eingriff bringbar ist.
  6. Verbrennungsmotor mit Ventilsteuermitteln nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, wobei eine Abnutzungsoberfläche an einer äußeren Oberfläche des ersten Glieds (101A, 101B) der hydraulischen Spieleinstellmittel (101A, 101B, 102, 103, 104, 106, 107, 109, 110, 111, 112) vorgesehen ist und die Abnutzungsoberfläche unmittelbar am ersten Bereich (181) der Nockenwelle (185) anliegt.
