  • gegebenenfalls Antrieb des Druckzylinders.

  • durch eine Aufnahme- und Arretierungsvorrichtung für den Druckzylinder bzw. für dessen Verlängerungsstück, insbesondere durch eine Rohrachse mit einem an ihrem Ende angebrachten und sie mit dem Stromaufnahmezylinder verbindenden Flansch bzw. durch eine entsprechende Massivachse, je mit Fixierungseinrichtungen für die Achsen.

  • dass schliesslich der bzw. die Druckzylinder mittels des Gesamt-Stromzuführungs- und Antriebs-Adapters im Galvanikbad gedreht wird/werden, wobei dem/den Druckzylinder(n) über mindestens eine fest angeordnete Elektrode, über den Stromaufnahmezylinder, über den Kolben mit Stromzuführungs-Rohrkörper sowie - gegebenenfalls - über Konus-Adapterstücke der zur Bearbeitung notwendige elektrische Strom zu- bzw. abgeführt wird.

Bei der praktischen Verwendung des erfindungsgemässen Stromaufnahme- und Antriebs-Adapters werden erhebliche technische Fortschritte erzeugt:

  • eine schnelle und einfache Aufspindelung des Adapters,
  • ein technisch genügend gesicherter Stromkontakt,
  • wenig Einzelkomponenten (verglichen mit früher vielen Einzelstücken, durch deren Verschraubung solche Ansätze zusammenzustellen waren),
  • verbesserter Rundlauf des Druckzylinders aufgrund der Aufhebung der Durchbiegung (die Zylinderachse wird gestreckt) und
  • jeweils nur ein Adapterset für eine ganze Klasse von Druckzylindern, z.B. Bl 600 bis 1300.
Considerable technical advances are generated in the practical use of the current consumption and drive adapter according to the invention:
  • quick and easy opening of the adapter,
  • a technically sufficiently secured power contact,
  • Few individual components (compared to many individual pieces in the past, which were used to assemble such approaches),
  • improved concentricity of the printing cylinder due to the elimination of the deflection (the cylinder axis is stretched) and
  • Only one adapter set for a whole class of printing cylinders, e.g. Bl 600 to 1300.

Claims (13)

  1. Quick-closing power supply and drive adapter for rotatably holding pressure cylinders (15) to be processed in electro-plating plants, characterised
    - by a power consumption device, in particular by a power consumption cylinder (11);
    - by a power supply device movable on said power consumption device, in particular by a circular cylinder piston (14) sliding conductively in the power consumption cylinder (11) and a tubular power supply member (16) attached thereto; and
    - by a receiving and arresting device for the axle end (13) of the pressure cylinder or for its extension piece, in particular by a tubular axle member with a flange (12) attached at its end and connecting it to the power consumption cylinder (11), or by a corresponding solid axle, each with fixing arrangements for the axle end.
  2. Power supply and drive adapter according to patent claim 1, characterised in that the circular cylinder piston (14) is longitudinally movable hydraulically and/or pneumatically and/or mechanically and/or magnetically in said power consumption cylinder (11).
  3. Power supply and drive adapter according to patent claim 2, characterised in that the power consumption cylinder (11), the circular cylinder piston (14) and the tubular power supply member (16) are made of a metallic material with good conduction of electric current; and that said tubular power supply member serves for electrical circuit connection to the corresponding electrically conductive part of the pressure cylinder (15).
  4. Power supply and drive adapter according to one of patent claims 1 to 3, including 3, characterised in that on the side of the pressure cylinder, the tubular axle (28) has a stop ring (29a) for guidance of the tubular power supply member (26) and for arresting the piston (24).
  5. Power supply and drive adapter according to patent claim 4, characterised in that on the side of the pressure cylinder, the power consumption cylinder (21) has a stop ring (29b) for guidance of the tubular power supply member (26) and for arresting the piston (24).
  6. Power supply and drive adapter according to one of patent claims 1 to 3, including 3, characterised in that at the end opposite the pressure cylinder (35), the solid axle (38) bears a flange cover (32), which restricts the stroke path of the circular cylinder piston (34) on the specified side.
  7. Power supply and drive adapter according to patent claim 6, characterised in that a detachable and displaceable guide ring (39) is fastened on the solid axle (38) to arrest the axle cylinder (33), said guide ring restricting the stroke path of the circular cylinder piston (34) on the other side.
  8. Power supply and drive adapter according to one of patent claims 6 and/or 7, characterised in that at the end facing the pressure cylinder (35), the power consumption cylinder (31) bears an internal stop ring (39b) for securing the circular cylinder piston (34).
  9. Power supply and drive adapter according to one or more of patent claims 6 to 8, including 8, characterised in that at the end facing the pressure cylinder (35), the tubular power supply member (36) bears a sealing ring (31a), which is connected to a sleeve (31c) attached to the corresponding end portion of the power consumption cylinder (31) by means of extensible bellows (31b).
  10. Power supply and drive adapter according to patent claim 9, characterised in that on its free side, the sealing ring (31a) bears a contact ring (31d) for securing the electrical contact to the face side of the pressure cylinder (35), said side possibly being fitted with a corresponding power supply cone (35a).
  11. Power supply and drive adapter according to patent claim 5 or 10, characterised in that the power consumption cylinder is present
    - possibly also in the form of a drive device to drive the arresting and receiving adapter, and/or
    - possibly also in the form of a rotary bearing for bearing application of the arresting and receiving adapter.
  12. Complete power supply and drive adapter, characterised in that it comprises two power supply and drive adapters in accordance with one or more of patent claims 1 to 11, including 11.
  13. Use of the complete power supply and drive adapter according to patent claim 12, characterised in that
    - one or more than one pressure cylinders with different cylinder lengths, possibly interconnected, is/are positioned therein by means of their axle ends and fixed;
    - that the tubular power supply members are then shifted forward by displacement of the pistons so far that the end faces of said tubular members strike against the current-carrying opposing side of the pressure cylinder on both sides, whereupon the tubular power supply members are held in this position; and
    - that finally the pressure cylinder or cylinders is/are rotated in the electro-plating bath by means of the complete power supply and drive adapter, whereby the electrical power necessary for processing is supplied or removed to/from the pressure cylinder(s) via at least one firmly disposed electrode, via the power consumption cylinder, via the piston with the tubular power supply member, and - possibly - via conical adapter pieces.
