Die Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Maschinenanlage mit einer Mehrzahl in Form von Baueinheiten in Serie angeordneten Druckwerken, wobei jede Baueinheit ihrerseits ein Funktions- und ein Verfahrensmodul aufweist, von denen das Funktionsmodul den Hauptantrieb der zu bedruckenden Materialbahn mit zugehörigen Steuerteilen und das Verfahrensmodul das eigentliche Arbeitsgerät, wie z.B. ein Druckwerk mit Trocknungsvorrichtungen, enthält.The present invention relates to a machine system with a plurality of printing units arranged in series in the form of structural units, each structural unit in turn having a functional and a process module, of which the functional module is the main drive of the material web to be printed with associated control parts and the process module is the actual implement, such as a printing unit with drying devices.
Es sind heute Maschinenanlagen des vorstehend definierten Typs im Einsatz, deren Baueinheiten baukastenartig zusammengestellt sind. Bei derartigen Anlagen können einzelne Baueinheiten ausgewechselt bzw. ausgetauscht werden, was in der Regel von besonders geschultem Fachpersonal auszuführen ist. Damit lässt sich die Anlage an wechselnde Anforderungen des Betreibers der Anlage anpassen, bedingt jedoch neben einem relativ hohen zeitlichen Aufwand mit entsprechenden Stillstandzeiten auch einen grossen Materialaufwand um Einsatzflexibilität und Anpassfähigkeit in möglichst hohem Masse zu gewährleisten. Der Besitzer der Anlage benötigt ein grösseres Lager an austauschbaren Baueinheiten mit verschiedenartigen Druckwerken, Trocknungseinrichtungen etc., was neben dem Platzbedarf auch nach einem hohen finanziellen Aufwand ruft.Today, machine systems of the type defined above are in use, the structural units of which are put together in a modular manner.
