Ein Schreibtisch der gattungsgemäßen Art ist aus der WO 88/07826 vorbekannt. Hierbei besteht die mit Haltegurten versehene Haltevorrichtung aus einem einstellbaren, mehrteiligen Gestänge, bei dem eine das Gehäuse des Bildschirmes tragende Basisplatte von Haltegurten gehalten ist, wobei durch eine Verstellung der die Winkligkeit und die Höhe des Bildschirmes vom Benutzer beliebig verändert werden kann. Auch kann die Aufhängung des Bildschirmgehäuses nur mittels Haltegurten erfolgen, ohne daß hierfür eine technisch brauchbare Lösung angegeben wird. Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe sieht die Erfindung vor, daß die Haltegurte an unterhalb der Arbeitsplatte vor der Vorderkante und hinter der Hinterkante des Fensters befindlichen Lagerstellen befestigt sind, die in Richtung quer zur Vorder- und Hinterkante des Fensters verschiebbar und arretierbar sind, und daß der Abstand der Aufhängungen und der an diesen befestigten Haltegurte voneinander kleiner ist als die Breite der Rückwand des von den Haltegurten aufzunehmenden Bildschirmgehäuses. Hierdurch wird eine einfache Haltevorrichtung geschaffen, mit welcher durch eine Verschieben der Lagerstellen für die Haltegurte die Winkligkeit und Höhe des Bildschirmes vom Benutzer beliebig verändert werden können. Die Haltevorrichtung ist darüber hinaus kostenmäßig einfach herstellbar. Hierzu beträgt der Abstand zwischen der Vorderkante 6 des Fensters 5 und der Vorderkante 7 der Arbeitsplatte 1 etwa 20 bis 30 cm. Die Verschiebbarkeit der Gurtträger 13, 14 an den Rahmenträgern 11,12 kann mittels Schienen und an diesen festgelegter Rollen erfolgen, wobei Schienen und Rollen nicht dargestellt sind. Auch sind nicht dargestellte Arretiervorrichtungen zur Festlegung der verschiebbaren Gurtträger 13,14 an den festen Rahmenträgern 11,12 vorgesehen.Below the

Die Spanngurte 16,17 werden dann durch Verschieben der Aufhängungen 15,19 angezogen, wobei diese ein unverrutschbares Fixieren des Bildschirmes 2 in einem frei wählbaren Winkel zur Arbeitsplatte 1 ermöglichen und wobei das Fixieren durch ein Anpressen des Bildschirmes an die Unterseite der Arbeitsplatte 1 an mindestens einer Kante des Fensters 5 oder an einer quer verlaufenden Kante des Rahmenträgers ermöglicht.
