Definitions
- the invention relates to a container closure with a lower closure part and a closure cap which can be placed on the lower closure part, in which the lower closure part can be connected to an opening of a container by means of a base part, the base part having an abutment flange which on the inner wall of the container at one in the region of the opening of the container formed abutment surface, wherein on the base part in the axial direction of the container closure spaced from the contact flange one or more locking lugs are arranged which overlap the edge of the opening, so that the lower closure part is held axially immovably on the container, the base part with one or is provided with a plurality of stops which come into operative connection with counter-elements of the container and prevent rotation of the base part in the opening, and the counter-elements are formed from cams which are molded onto the container.
- Such a container closure is known for example from GB 1 440 611.
- the container closure is supported with its locking lugs and the contact flange on the container so that it is not pushed out of the opening in the axial direction can be.
- the latching lugs are inserted into recesses which are arranged around the opening.
- Another container closure is known from DE 38 32 412 A1.
- locking lugs are provided on the base part, which overlap the opening of the container.
- the base part thus clamps the part of the container facing the opening between the latching shoulders and the contact flange. If a force is applied in the circumferential direction of the closure cap in such a container closure, for example when a screw cap is screwed on or off, the base part rotates in the opening.
- stops are designed as tabs which are formed laterally on the contact flange and protrude radially therefrom.
- the tabs on the inner wall of the container rest on the corresponding counter elements.
- the counter-elements protrude from the inner wall as cams and protrude into the free spaces formed between the lobes. So that the container closure is securely attached to the container so that both an axial displacement and a rotation can no longer take place.
- the stops are integrally formed on the base part and at least in the area of the connection point are formed elastically on the base part. The stops thus give way elastically. If the lower part of the closure is now turned a little, the stops slide over the counter elements and spring behind them into their locking position.
- the counter elements are set back from the inner wall of the container and that the stops in recesses of the container are set back or flush with the inner wall and that the contact surface of the container is turned outwards relative to the inner wall and a circular Recording forms, and that the contact flange of the base part is inserted into this receptacle so that it is flush with the inner wall of the container or is set back relative to it, so that the material held in the container can then be emptied completely and without obstruction of the pouring flow can.
- a firm connection between the container and the container closure is created in that the latching projection is formed as a circumferential collar on the base part, which has a gently rising deflection slope in the direction of the closure cap which merges into a steep latching flank which extends around the edge of the opening on the outside of the container.
- At least the base part is formed on its latching shoulder and the contact flange from an elastic plastic material, so that the edge of the opening is clamped and held free of play between the latching shoulder and the contact flange and the contact flange lies sealingly against the contact surface of the container, then when the container closure is firmly clamped to the container, sealing takes place at the same time without the aid of additional sealing elements.
- An embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the base part is designed with its outer dimensions equal to or smaller than the dimensions of the opening, and that the base part is provided with a socket by means of which the base part can be threaded into the opening from the inside of the container , and that the closure cap is chosen in its outer dimensions smaller than the dimensions of the opening.
- the closure part and the closure cap can thus be preassembled as a structural unit which can be connected to the container in a single assembly step.
- the base part of the lower part of the closure is provided with a fiber.
- an elastic, axially extendable bellows is connected to the base part of the lower part of the closure, which blends into an externally threaded pouring spout, onto which the closure cap is screwed, and that a sealing plate is included in the pouring spout a handle is inserted.
- the bellows can be pulled out of the container closure and then the closure cap can be unscrewed. This makes the handle of the sealing plate accessible so that it can be removed from the pouring spout. From the pouring spout The pouring opening formed can then be removed from the container.
- a container closure 10 is shown with a lower closure part and a closure cap 20 placed on the closure lower part.
- the lower closure part has a base part 13, to which an elastically extendable bellows 14 is connected.
- the bellows 14 merges at its end facing away from the base part 13 into a pouring spout 15 with a circular cross section.
- the pouring spout 15 is provided with an external thread.
- a closure cap 20 designed as a screw cap is screwed onto the external thread of the pouring spout 15.
- the closure cap 20 is formed from a cover 22 to which a downwardly projecting cylindrical jacket part 21 is connected.
- the jacket part 21 is provided with an internal thread that with the external thread of the pouring spout 15 cooperates.
- the pouring opening formed by the pouring spout 15 is closed by means of a sealing plate 30.
- the sealing plate 30 is fastened to the inner circumference of the pouring spout 15 via a circular breaking point 31.
- the latter has a handle 32 which is essentially formed from a ring and a web connected to the ring. The web is connected directly to the sealing plate 30.
- a user can insert a finger into the ring and pull it out of the pouring spout 15.
- the sealing plate 30 tears at the predetermined breaking point 31 and can be removed from the pouring spout 15.
- a quality assurance is hereby formed which shows whether the container 40 is present for the first use.
- the connection of the container closure 10 to the container 40 is realized with a snap connection.
- a contact flange 11 and a circumferential locking projection 12 are arranged on the base part 13.
- the locking projection 12 is arranged at a distance from the contact flange 11 in the axial direction of the container closure and has a gently sloping deflection in the direction of the closure cap. The deflection slope changes into a steep latching flank at its area facing the contact flange 11.
- the container 40 for example a plastic or a sheet metal container, is provided with an opening.
- the opening is surrounded by an edge, to which a contact surface adjoins the inside of the container.
- the contact surface is turned outwards in relation to the inner wall 44 formed by the container wall 41.
- the container closure 10 consisting of the lower closure part and the closure cap 20, is preassembled as a structural unit.
- the outer dimensions of the cap 20 and the base part 13 are chosen to be smaller than the outer dimensions of the opening.
- the container closure 10 can thus be pushed through the opening from the inside of the container 40.
- the edge of the opening slides along the outer surface of the base part 13 until it abuts the latching projection 12.
- the latching projection 12 is deflected radially inwards via its deflection slope at the edge.
- the latching lug 12 snaps radially outward into its original position and thus lies with its steep latching flank on the outside of the container 40 around the opening.
- the contact flange 11 bears against the contact surface of the opening.
- the contact flange 11 carries stops 11a projecting radially outwards.
- the stops 11a are designed as tabs and bear against the inner wall 44 of the container 40.
- counter-elements 42 are formed on the container 40, which protrude beyond the inner wall 44 of the container 40.
- the counter elements 42 cooperate with the stops 11a in such a way that rotation of the container closure in the circumferential direction is prevented.
- the side surfaces of the stops 11a abut the counter elements 42. If a stop 11a meets a counter element 42 when the container closure is being joined, the stop 11a bends due to its elasticity in the direction away from the inner wall 44. If the lower closure part is now rotated a little in the circumferential direction, the stop 11a slides over the counter element 42 and engages behind it in its determination position.
- FIG. 2 shows the container closure according to FIG. 1 in a view of the inner wall 44 of the container 40.
- a plurality of stops 11a on the circumference of the Contact flange 11 arranged distributed.
- counter elements 42 are attached to the container 40 in accordance with the number of stops 11a. In the position of the lower closure part shown in FIG. 2, it can only be rotated in the circumferential direction until the stops 11a abut the counter elements 42.
- FIG. 3 shows a further possible embodiment of the invention, in which the stops 11a are flush with the inner wall 44.
- the inner wall 44 is offset outwards at least in the region of the stops 11a, so that there is a receptacle for the stops 11a. This ensures that the material held in the container 40 can flow freely.
- the lower closure part is formed in one piece as a plastic part.
- the latching projection 12 and the contact flange 11 are designed to be elastic, so that the edge 42 of the container 40 is elastically braced.
- this elastic bracing causes the abutment flange 11 to be pressed against the abutment surface of the container 40, so that a sealing effect between the abutment flange 11 and the abutment surface is achieved.
- the locking projection 12 and the contact flange 11 prevent axial movement of the base part 13 with respect to the container 40.
- the radial catch approach of the lower closure part with respect to the container is prevented in that the groove formed between the catch projection and the contact flange 11 is dimensioned in its groove base Dimensions of the opening 43 is matched.
- the invention is not limited solely to the exemplary embodiment shown in the figures. Rather, it is conceivable that the contact flange 11 is not designed as a circumferential collar, but rather is formed like a segment from several sections. The sealing effect can then take place, for example, by means of a sealing washer, or it is conceivable that the sealing effect between the edge 42 and the opening and the outer shell of the base part 13 comes about. There is also no need to provide a circumferential locking projection 12. It is also possible to provide a plurality of latching projections 12 which are offset over the circumference of the base part 13.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a container closure with a lower closure part and a closure cap which can be placed on the lower closure part, in which the lower closure part can be connected to an opening of a container by means of a base part, the base part having an abutment flange which on the inner wall of the container at one in the region of the opening of the container formed abutment surface, wherein on the base part in the axial direction of the container closure spaced from the contact flange one or more locking lugs are arranged which overlap the edge of the opening, so that the lower closure part is held axially immovably on the container, the base part with one or is provided with a plurality of stops which come into operative connection with counter-elements of the container and prevent rotation of the base part in the opening, and the counter-elements are formed from cams which are molded onto the container.
Such a container closure is known for example from GB 1 440 611. The container closure is supported with its locking lugs and the contact flange on the container so that it is not pushed out of the opening in the axial direction can be. In order to prevent the container closure from rotating relative to the opening, the latching lugs are inserted into recesses which are arranged around the opening. Another container closure is known from DE 38 32 412 A1.
These container closures are generally used for containers that are filled with a material under pressure. As a result of the pressure difference from the atmosphere surrounding the container, the contact flange is pressed against the contact surface, so that the container closure cannot be pushed out of the opening.
To axially fix the container closure, locking lugs are provided on the base part, which overlap the opening of the container. The base part thus clamps the part of the container facing the opening between the latching shoulders and the contact flange. If a force is applied in the circumferential direction of the closure cap in such a container closure, for example when a screw cap is screwed on or off, the base part rotates in the opening.
It is an object of the invention to provide a container closure of the type mentioned in the introduction which can be securely fixed in the opening of the container.
The object of the invention is achieved in that the stops are designed as tabs which are formed laterally on the contact flange and protrude radially therefrom.
In the assembled state, the tabs on the inner wall of the container rest on the corresponding counter elements. The counter-elements protrude from the inner wall as cams and protrude into the free spaces formed between the lobes. So that the container closure is securely attached to the container so that both an axial displacement and a rotation can no longer take place.
In order to prevent the stops from breaking off or being plastically deformed when the stops come into contact with the opening of the container on the counter-elements when the container closure is being joined, it is provided that the stops are integrally formed on the base part and at least in the area of the connection point are formed elastically on the base part. The stops thus give way elastically. If the lower part of the closure is now turned a little, the stops slide over the counter elements and spring behind them into their locking position.
It is provided that the counter elements are set back from the inner wall of the container and that the stops in recesses of the container are set back or flush with the inner wall and that the contact surface of the container is turned outwards relative to the inner wall and a circular Recording forms, and that the contact flange of the base part is inserted into this receptacle so that it is flush with the inner wall of the container or is set back relative to it, so that the material held in the container can then be emptied completely and without obstruction of the pouring flow can.
A firm connection between the container and the container closure is created in that the latching projection is formed as a circumferential collar on the base part, which has a gently rising deflection slope in the direction of the closure cap which merges into a steep latching flank which extends around the edge of the opening on the outside of the container.
The fact that the steep locking flank is supported all around on the outside of the container and thus forms a large support surface is an unintentional indentation of the container closure securely prevented in the container. Furthermore, the circumferential latching approach prevents the latching connection from being loosened even when the force is introduced into the container closure at an angle or off-center.
It is provided that at least the base part is formed on its latching shoulder and the contact flange from an elastic plastic material, so that the edge of the opening is clamped and held free of play between the latching shoulder and the contact flange and the contact flange lies sealingly against the contact surface of the container, then when the container closure is firmly clamped to the container, sealing takes place at the same time without the aid of additional sealing elements.
An embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the base part is designed with its outer dimensions equal to or smaller than the dimensions of the opening, and that the base part is provided with a socket by means of which the base part can be threaded into the opening from the inside of the container , and that the closure cap is chosen in its outer dimensions smaller than the dimensions of the opening. The closure part and the closure cap can thus be preassembled as a structural unit which can be connected to the container in a single assembly step. To facilitate assembly, the base part of the lower part of the closure is provided with a fiber.
For easy removal of the contents from the container, it is provided that an elastic, axially extendable bellows is connected to the base part of the lower part of the closure, which blends into an externally threaded pouring spout, onto which the closure cap is screwed, and that a sealing plate is included in the pouring spout a handle is inserted. The bellows can be pulled out of the container closure and then the closure cap can be unscrewed. This makes the handle of the sealing plate accessible so that it can be removed from the pouring spout. From the pouring spout The pouring opening formed can then be removed from the container.

The connection of the container closure 10 to the
The
For assembly, the container closure 10, consisting of the lower closure part and the closure cap 20, is preassembled as a structural unit. The outer dimensions of the cap 20 and the
Gleichzeitig liegt der Anlageflansch 11 an der Anlagefläche der Öffnung an.In the event of a further pushing-in movement, the latching
As FIG. 1a shows in more detail, the
Damit ist erreicht, daß das im Behälter 40 gehaltene Gut behinderungsfrei ausfließen kann.FIG. 3 shows a further possible embodiment of the invention, in which the
The lower closure part is formed in one piece as a plastic part. In particular, the latching
The locking
The invention is not limited solely to the exemplary embodiment shown in the figures. Rather, it is conceivable that the
