Description

The present invention relates to a lifting ring intended to lift, transport, return loads heavy, such as prefabricated elements for the building in particular after molding of said elements and in particular, but not exclusively thin panels.

Such rings are known and used on a large ladder. Their purpose is to allow the establishment a mechanical connection between an anchor incorporated into the concrete and the hook of a lifting device such as a crane.

The present invention relates, more particularly, to a ring intended to cooperate with an eye or cone anchor with a cylindrical head, although it can be used with other anchor heads.

The anchor head is included, when pouring concrete, in a hemispherical reservation, or partially hemispherical, so as to be accessible after demolding or formwork.

Such a ring is described in FR-A- 1 568 605 and in FR-A- 2 382 398 (HAEUSSLER). It consists of a piece of connection (or nut) with the anchor head and a ring proper or shackle which provides the link between the connecting piece and hook of the lifting machine.

The nut has a sector-shaped groove or notch circular in which the anchor head is inserted. In some known rings, the spherical connection piece is articulated on the shackle so that it can pivot between a position of engagement and disengagement of the head in the groove and a transport position or handling in which the anchor head abuts against the bottom of the groove.

The prefabricated element can thus be transported in all safety provided that the load of the anchor corresponds to the item weight. After transport, the groove moves on the anchor head, until the release position be reached.

The walnut has a hole or eye in its upper part articulation extending orthogonally to the plane of the groove, offset from the center of the part hemispherical. The shackle is engaged in the hole by a circular section ring or arch which allows the articulation of the parts one on the other. In order to facilitate the relative rotation between the nut and the head anchor, it is also known to provide this part with a maneuvering arm or leg. This leg can be remotely controlled by cable.

Avoid the shackle, or the connecting piece, come and alter the surface of the concrete which is still partially fresh. This avoids patching expensive later on site.

The object of the present invention is to provide a ring for lifting for safe working, even with thin panels, limiting the travel of the nut relative to the shackle. For this purpose, the body of the nut is hemispherical, laterally truncated, so that it can work with anchor heads included in narrow reservations which is made necessary by the thin thickness of some prefabricated panels.

It has already been proposed in FR-A-2 479 166 to limit this travel while bringing in the locked position nuts on the anchor head, the operating arm, mentioned above, in abutment against the part used for this purpose in the ring of the Manila.

Up to this day, the nut being of appreciably shaped hemispherical or truncated hemispherical, the founder connected the knuckle hole of the shackle with connecting radii allowing a large clearance, greater than 180 °, the stop being formed as shown previously.

Mais, dans certains cas, lorsque la manille est en butée sur la face verticale, un pivotement de la manille provoque la rotation de la noix d'où un risque de décrochement accidentel.DE-U-92 17894 relates to a lifting ring according to the preamble of claim 1, in which the shackle joint hole in the nut is eccentric and limited by two perpendicular faces corresponding to the ends of the groove in which can insert the head of an anchor. But in some case, when the shackle is in abutment on the face vertical, a pivoting of the shackle causes the nut rotation resulting in a risk of detachment accidental.

According to the invention, the lifting ring for prefabricated construction elements provided with cylindrical head anchoring parts, having an axis of symmetry, comprising a nut or connecting piece with the head of the anchor, said shaped nut general spherical with two parallel truncated faces, including a semi-circular "T" groove, open downwards, of dimensions corresponding to those of the head and of the anchor rod, and a lifting shackle, on which said nut is pivotally mounted by means of an eye eccentric relative to the center of the nut and extending in a direction orthogonal to the plane of said groove, the eye of the nut being of circular section and opening into the truncated faces of the nut by a toroidal ring limited to its lower part by two toric connection surfaces with two flat faces inclined relative to the plane perpendicular to said axis of symmetry of the anchor, characterized in that said inclined plane faces form with respect to said perpendicular plane angles a1 and a2 less than 90 ° so that said plane faces form an angle between them greater than 90 ° and less than 180 °.

Thus, the movement or pivoting of the nut on the shackle is automatically limited by the contact of the shackle with the flat faces forming a stop by the arch of the shackle in two extreme positions forming between they angle more than 90 °, which increases safety Operating.

That is to say, it is thus possible to provide the desired clearance, which may not be equal on each side of the axis of the hole, by varying the angles a1 and a2 of the inclined plane faces.

Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will appear during the description which follows of particular embodiments, given solely by way of nonlimiting examples, with reference to the drawings which represent:
  • Figure 1, a side view of the nut;
  • Figure 2, a top view of the nut;
  • Figure 3, a vertical half-sectional view of the nut along line III-III of Figure 1;
  • Figure 4, a view of the ring in the position of use in vertical traction in the extension of the axis of the anchor;

  • Figure 6, a view of the ring in the lifting position of a panel.
  • Figure 7 is a front view of a shackle in which the nut is mounted.

As indicated above, the lifting ring shown in Figures 4 to 6, consists of a connecting piece or nut 1 pivotally mounted on a shackle 2 for the introduction of a hook (not shown) itself connected, usually by slings to a lifting device. As shown in Figures 1 to 3, the nut is generally spherical in shape with two truncated faces and comprises a lower part 3 and an upper part 4. The upper part 4 has a hole or eye 5 of diameter slightly larger than that of the lower hoop or rod 21 of the shackle passing through the eye. The eye 5 is eccentric, circular and it opens onto the faces of the nut 1 through a toric surface 8 (on either side of the hole 5). The lower part of the deflection cavity of the shackle is formed by two connecting toric faces 6 and 6a with the inclined faces 7 and 7a substantially planar converging in a zone 10. These parts are inclined relative to the horizontal axis H of the eye 5 and form therewith respective angles a1 and a2 making it possible to limit the movement of the shackle from the design of the nut. The angle a1 is always less than 90 ° and has, for example a value of 10 °. The angle a2 can be equal to the angle a1 . The 180 ° complement of angles a1 and a2 is preferably greater than 90 ° to prevent the nut from accidentally detaching from the head of the anchor when the shackle is pivoted.

The upper part 4 of the nut 2 preferably has a lug 9 on which can be fixed, as known per se, a remote control cable by fixing a tube to the lug finished with a ring, allowing the pivoting of the nut 1 on the roll bar 21 of the shackle 2, when the panel has been put in place by the hoist. Its use is limited to the possibility of stalling remotely.

We can see, in figure 3, the cylindrical groove 11. The groove 11 is a cylindrical groove with a "T" section opening to the outside through an opening 13. The groove 11 is open at its lower part 12 and extends over at minus a quarter circle inside the part hemispherical 3.

During the operation of the ring, (figure 4), the ring being shown in its lifting position, the lug 9 is arranged above the center of the sphere which prevents any contact of it with concrete. The head of anchor A is at the bottom of groove 11. And handling can be performed normally.

Après pivotement de 90° de la noix 1, à l'intérieur de la réservation (non représentée), on retrouve la disposition de la figure 4.FIG. 5 represents the position of the nut on the anchor A during the engagement or disengagement position which is the same. We see that in this position, the surface 7 is inclined at an angle a1 with respect to the vertical and acts as a stop for the shackle 2, the nut not being able to turn clockwise, but only counterclockwise to slip through its groove 11 on the head of the anchor 1. After pivoting the nut 1 through 90 °, inside the reservation (not shown), the arrangement of FIG. 4 is found.

In the two examples which have just been described, it was the lifting of a panel, the anchor (s) being vertical. FIG. 6 represents an example of lifting, the anchor A then being in a horizontal position. The introduction of the nut 1 around the head of the anchor is done as previously. The shackle, due to the presence of the stops 6.6a cannot rotate beyond the vertical position. In the case of transport with slings the shackle is usually tilted from the vertical and does not no risk of damaging the concrete surface which is the goal research.

It includes a hoop 21 and a hoop 23 assembled by welding. At the level of connection between the rings 21,23, the arch 23 has preferably a narrowing 22 preventing the hook from come and put directly on the nut 1.

Claims (5)

  1. A lifting ring for prefabricated building elements, provided with anchoring pieces having cylindrical heads about an axis of symmetry, the lifting ring comprising both a coupling piece or yoke (1) for coupling with the head of the anchoring device, said yoke being generally spherical in shape having two parallel truncated faces (1a) and including a downwardly open semi-circular T-shaped groove (11) of dimensions corresponding to those of the head and the shank of the anchoring device, and a lifting shackle (2) on which said yoke is pivotally mounted by means of an eye (5) that is eccentric relative to the center of the yoke and that extends in a direction that is orthogonal to the plane of said groove, the eye (5) of the yoke (1) being circular in section and opening out into the truncated faces of the yoke via respective toroidal rings (8) whose bottom portions are defined by two toroidal coupling surfaces (6, 6a) coupling with two plane faces (7, 7a) that are inclined about the plane perpendicular to said axis of symmetry of the anchoring device, the lifting ring being characterized in that said inclined plane faces (7, 7a) form, relative to said perpendicular plane, angles a1 and a2 less than 90° such that said plane faces form between them an angle which is greater than 90° and less than 180°.
  2. A lifting ring according to claim 1, characterized in that the angles a1 and a2 are equal.
  3. A lifting ring according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the toroidal zones (6, 6a) coupling with the faces (7, 7a) form clear internal abutments for the arc of the shackle, the angles a1 and a2 thereof defining the movement available to the shackle (2) relative to the coupling piece (1).
  4. A lifting ring according to claim 2, characterized in that the 180° complement of the sum of the angles a1 plus a2 is greater than 90°.
  5. A lifting ring according to claim 1, characterized in that the yoke (1) is provided with a spur (9) for remote identification and control that is substantially level with the axis of the eye (5).
