- A door with an approximately vertically, or overhead-movable door leaf (1), especially a sectional up-and-over door, a roller door, a lifting door or similar, with a frame which has a vertical-running frame spar (2), which is fixed in the inner edge area of the door opening which is to be closed by the door leaf (1), with a guide rail mechanism (3) into which rollers arranged projecting on the inside of the door leaf (1) are displaceably engaged in the rail's longitudinal direction, and also with a catching latch apparatus (8) fixed to this on at least one side of the door leaf (1), the catching latch (9) of this catching latch mechanism being extendable in a plane of movement approximately perpendicular to the plane of the door leaf (1), when the cords, or similar, which hold the door leaf (1) become slack on losing their holding function, whereupon the catching latch (9) engages in one of the engagement formations (10) which are formed sequentially in the area (4), which forms a catching rail, facing the respective catching latch apparatus (8), of the frame spar (2) which is to be fixed on the inner edge area of the door opening, over at least a greater part of the longitudinal extent, characterised in that the area (4) which has the engagement formations (10) itself is to be fixed adjacent to the interior edge area of the door opening and the engagement formations are formed by pressed-out portions (10) outwards from this contact surface with a boundary (11) directed upwards as a detent for the extended catching latch (9).
- A door according to claim 1, characterised in that the frame spar (2) has two limbs (4,5) which run at approximately right angles to one another, of which one forms the catching rail (4) with the guide rail apparatus (3) being attached to the other limb (5), projecting downwards from the inner wall edge area of the door opening.
- A door according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the pressings (10) are each formed by a penetration of the frame material extending approximately perpendicular to the frame spar's longitudinal direction, and a pocket-shaped bulge (12) downwards when viewed in the frame spar longitudinal directions, facing away from the inner wall edge area of the door opening to which the frame spar (2) is to be attached.
- A door according to claim 3, characterised in that the upward-facing separating edge (11) of the respective bulge (12), in the frame spar's longitudinal direction, has an approximately trapezoidal course - especially with rounded corners between the shorter (13) of the two parallel trapezoidal sides and the trapezoidal limbs.
- A door according to claim 3, characterised in that the upward-facing separating edge (11) of the respective bulge (12), in the frame spar's longitudinal direction, has an approximately circular course.
- A door according to one of claims 3 to 5, characterised in that seen from the frame spar's longitudinal direction, the cross-section through the bulges (12) with the non-recessed course of the spar which surrounds this in each case includes an approximately triangular surface (14).
- A door with an approximately vertically, or overhead-movable door leaf (1), especially a sectional up and over door, a roller door, a lifting door or similar, with a frame which has a vertical-running frame spar (2), which is fixed in the inner edge area of the door opening which is to be closed by the door leaf (1), with a guide roll mechanism (3) into which rollers arranged projecting on the inside of the door leaf (1) are displaceably engaged in the rail's longitudinal direction, and also with a catching latch apparatus (8) fixed to this on at least one side of the door leaf (1), the catching latch (9) of this catching latch mechanism being extendable in a plane of movement approximately perpendicular to the plane of the door leaf (1), when the cords, or similar, which hold the door leaf (1) become slack on losing their holding function, whereupon the catching latch (9) engages in one of the engagement formations (10) which are formed sequentially in an area (4), which forms a catching rail, facing the respective catching latch apparatus (8), of the frame spar (2) which is to be fixed on the inner edge area of the door opening, over at least a greater part of the longitudinal extent, wherein the assigned guide rail apparatus (3) is fixed on the frame spar (2), characterised in that the frame (2) has two limbs (4,5) which run approximately at right angles to one another, one of which is to be fixed directly to the inner edge area of the door opening and forms the catching rail, and the assigned guide rail apparatus (3) being attached to the other limb (5), projecting downwards from the inner wall edge area of the door opening, that the engagement formations are designed as openings (30), which are arranged in a web of a substantially U-shaped profile (31) which is constructed from the limb which is to be fixed directly to the inner edge area of the door opening directed towards the bulge projecting from the door leaf (1), and that the web of the profile (31) from the inner wall area of the door opening only has a fraction of the respective distance occupied by the edge of the guide rail apparatus (3) which faces this inner wall area.
- A door according to claim 7, characterised in that the openings (30) are rectangular.
- A door according to claim 7 or 8, characterised in that the openings (30) are disposed equidistant from one another in the profile (31) of the frame spar (2).
- A door according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the area (4) of the frame spar (2) which forms the catching rail has a bent area (6) in its edge area facing the door leaf (1) with a receiving groove (7) for a seal which acts on the facing side area of the the door leaf (1).
- A door according to one of claims 2 to 10, characterised in that the catching latch apparatus (8) on the door leaf (1) in its closed position is disposed projecting at least in some areas into the three-sided space (15) spread out by the limbs (4,5) of the frame spar (2).
- A door according to one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the catching latch (9) of the catching latch apparatus (8) has a detent edge in its extended catching state, directed towards the frame spar (2) and slightly downwards.
- A door according to one of claims 1 to 12, characterised in that the equal spacing of the engagement formations (10), sequentially in the longitudinal direction of the frame spar, has interruptions for the inclusion of openings (16) for the penetration of attachment bolts into the inner wall area of the door opening, especially each being the same size as a recess of an engagement formation (10).
