Description

The invention relates to the technical sector of devices used to mix various materials arranged in bulk in a closed enclosure which, using tools, scrapers and others, allow the mixing of the different inserted products.

These types of mixers generally have a configuration of great length, cylindrical, and receive from by their transverse ends by means of connecting bearings and rolling, a very long axis crossing the mixer.

This axis is coupled with a motor member known to all appropriate type, said axis receiving arms along its length support for tools such as plowshares, scrapers, allowing mixing of the materials collected and homogenization of all the products contained.

The problem with this type of mixer is basically in the choice of tools used to move the masses of materials to be mixed, the coulters having generally very low angles of attack resulting in very small transverse displacements of the masses.

We must also consider that these mixers for use industrial allow the work and the mixing of masses of particularly important materials, thus requiring significant energy expenditure.

The low efficiency of the tools used to date is likely to reduce the quality of the work performed or requires extremely long brew times, which in some cases have been measured for capacities given at around 240 seconds.

The aim sought after according to the invention was therefore to remedy these disadvantages by proposing a new solution in the production of tools associated with the mixer rotor, allowing greater brewing efficiency, a better recovery of the materials treated inside the mixer to homogenize the diffusion and distribution of different material compositions.

Another object sought after according to the invention was to achieve tools that can be used in both mixers operating continuously, only discontinuously.

Continuous operation corresponds to mixing uninterrupted materials composing the mixture entering simultaneously at one end of the mixer at a given flow rate, progress in a continuous flow inside the tank and come out after homogenization at the other end, according to the same flow.

Discontinuous operation takes place charge by charge and comprises three successive phases: filling the tank, mixing, emptying the tank.

According to a first characteristic of the invention, the mixer is of the type comprising a very long casing forming an interior chamber for the collection of different types of products to be mixed, having a filling opening and a product drain opening, and including a rotating shaft associated with a motor, said shaft being arranged along its length to receive stirring tools
characterized in that said stirring tools fixed to each arm, are constituted by a blade having a profile combining a helical shape in its length according to a given angular sector, and a flared transverse shape allowing a lifting and gathering of the products to be brewed in the mixer.

According to another characteristic, the double profile blades helical and flared (V shape) are metallic and receive treatment anti corrosion.

According to another characteristic, the double profile blades helical and flared are arranged on the motor shaft in a particular configuration and in angular orientations different to allow complete and continuous mixing of the mass of materials inside the mixer.

These and other features will emerge well from the rest of the description.

In order to make the object of the invention more concrete, it is now described in a nonlimiting manner illustrated in figures of the drawings.

The mixer is referenced as a whole by (1) and is of any known type, of any suitable length and size as required, and according to the mixing applications of products.

These products can be powdered, granular or other.

The mixer is hollow internally with advantageously a cylindrical shape (1.1). He receives at his transverse ends of the bearings (2) allowing the support and the rolling guide of a very long shaft (3), said shaft shaft being coupled to a driving member (4) arranged outside of the mixer, being supported in any suitable manner.

The tree (3) is arranged along its length with a plurality supports (5) added and welded or fixed in any case appropriate on the tree.

According to the originality of the invention, these supports (5) are arranged to receive and allow coupling of arms (6) very long radials, significantly less than a radius of the cylindrical mixer, and having tools at the end mixing (7) in the form of blades having a double profile helical and flared.

This particular double helical profile in its sense longitudinal and flared in its transverse plane, allows a reversal of the blade in contact with the mixer tank.

The given angulation of the helical movement is established on varying angles from 30 to 45 ° and the vertical movement given by the reversal of the blade is accompanied by an effect suction given by the shaft rotation speed thus causing takeoff of the products in contact with the tank, and restoring these products in a global movement swirling.

The tools in the form of blades are thus arranged at most near the inner wall of the tank.

The combination of flared and helical blade profiles provides very clearly yield conditions superior to mixers with brewing tools classics.

The blades thus produced are established over lengths appropriate in correlation with the dimensions of the mixer and the applications of the products to be mixed.

Blades are metallic and coated anti-abrasion, and more particularly, it is disposed to the scraper end of the blade, a buffer layer additional (8) having an anti-abrasion effect.

The blades are fixed by welding in the middle part to their support arms, said arms possibly receiving a complementary transverse stirring fin (11).

The arms are fixed by bolting (9) to the support arranged on the tree.

It can be provided at the link area of the arms on their supports, oblong lights (10) allowing adjustment in depth position of the stirring blades relative to the inner mixer tank. The supports have a U-shaped profile (5.1) allowing self-centering of the fixing ends arms.

Referring now to Figure 7 of the drawings, we have represented an angular distribution of the blades along a tree engine.

Some successive blades may overlap partially to have a mixing effect of the mass of materials collected in the mixer.

Some of the blades can be mounted on the right or left relative to the arms, giving a different tilt in opposition and thus allowing a combination of swirling movements and mixing of materials.

Les avantages ressortent bien de l'invention. The advantages emerge clearly from the invention.

We emphasize mechanical simplicity, reliability, and above all the best product homogenization that takes place in a very short time of 60 to 120 seconds, with a guarantee uniformity far superior to the results obtained with art prior.

The anti-corrosion coatings of the blades are of all appropriate nature.

The angular variation of the propeller pitch is established according to needs and applications.
