Abstract
The invention relates to a chemical micro-analyzer for multi-ion detection in fluid media using chemical microsensors based on the difference measurement.
The problems with diaphragm pumps and micromechanical valves currently recognizable in chemical microanalysis systems are solved in the construction of the microanalyser according to the invention in that only microfluid manipulators, that is, microdrop emitters and microfluidic diodes, which are used by means of microtechnical methods and microsystem technology, are used to handle the fluid handling and connection technologies can be produced and can be flexibly coupled as modular components to the microfluidic system and microsensors for system construction. The microanalyser according to the invention with a newly designed fluid handling system is characterized in a particular way by an absolutely leak-free design, a simple construction, a small space requirement and an inexpensive manufacture.
