Hierzu ist dem Drehzahlsteller eine elektronische Regelung zugeordnet. Über eine im Pumpenaggregat integrierte elektronische Steuerung können über einen am Pumpengehäuse von außen zugänglichen Schalter die gewünschten Betriebspunkte des Pumpenaggregates voreingestellt werden. Es hat sich bewährt, verschiedene Regelgrößen oder auch Regelkennlinien vorzugeben, die jeweils einen bedarfsgerechten Pumpenbetrieb ermöglichen und die durch entsprechende Schalter an der Außenseite des Pumpenaggregates vorwählbar sind. Es muß also beim Einbau stets darauf geachtet werden, daß eine Bedienperson das Pumpenaggregat erreichen kann, um die entsprechenden Einstellungen daran vornehmen zu können. Andernfalls sind aufwendige Verkabelungen und externe Schalter erforderlich, was man verständlicherweise zu vermeiden versucht. Andererseits bedingt die Zugänglichkeit der Pumpen im Betriebsstörfall häufig, daß zur vermeintlichen Behebung eines Schadens die am Aggregat vorhandenen Schalter willkürlich verstellt werden, um durch Probieren die Fehler aufzufinden.
