Description

Eine Vorrichtung zur Herstellung solcher Gruppen-Packungen ist in der CH-PS 574 844 beschrieben. Mit der Bildung der Quersiegelnaht wird gleichzeitig eine Schwächungslinie mittig in dieser Naht gequetscht. Die Packungen gelangen anschliessend auf ein rascher umlaufendes Förderband. Mit einer Walze können sie selektiv gegen das Band angedrückt werden, sodass die angedrückte Packung von der eben gebildeten Schwächungslinie abgerissen wird. Allerdings kann diese Vorrichtung nicht verwendet werden, wenn die verpackten Produkte druckempfindlich sind. Die dargestellte Abtrennvorrichtung weist zwei übereinander liegende, gegenläufig rotierende Walzen 1 und 2 auf, die mit Siegelbacken 3, 4 bestückt sind, denen ein Schlauch 5 mittels eines nicht dargestellten Förderbandes oder dergleichen zugeführt wird. Der Schlauch 5 ist in bekannter Weise auf einer Schlauchbeutelmaschine so gebildet worden, dass er in regelmässigen Abständen voneinander Produkte 6, z.B. Schokoladeriegel, enthält. Durch Druck und/oder Wärme bilden die Siegelbacken 3, 4 im Schlauch zwischen je zwei Produkten 6 eine breite Quersiegelnaht 7, sodass eine Reihe von miteinander zusammenhängenden Schlauchpackungen 8 entsteht. Die Siegelbacke 3 ist in ihrer Mitte mit einem Messer 9 und die Siegelbacke 4 mit einem Gegenhalter 10 versehen. Das Messer 9 durchschneidet die Quernaht 7 bereits bei ihrer Entstehung in Längsrichtung der Naht 7. Der durch das Messer 9 bewirkte Schnitt 11 kann beispielsweise nur zwei schwache Verbindungsstege 12 zwischen den beiden Hälften der Naht 7 bestehen lassen.
