Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à un appareil permettant de détecter automatiquement des objets présentant un risque à droite et à gauche d'un véhicule ainsi qu'à l'arrière de ce dernier. L'appareil comprend des émetteurs d'ultrasons (4) activés par des générateurs (6) présentant un angle défini de rayonnement et émettant de manière continue des ondes ultrasonores pulsées ou modulées. Des récepteurs (14) d'ultrasons sont connectés à un dispositif d'analyse afin de déterminer l'intensité, la vitesse de variation, la variation de la fréquence Doppler et l'angle de retombée du signal reçu qui détermine la situation routière. Des objets dangereux sont détectés, et un avertissement ou un signal est transmis à ce dernier.
