Abstract

Shoes, especially sport or leisure shoes, preferably for team sports or for group leisure play, with a central rotary closure which, as much as possible, is not present in preferred kicking areas of such shoes while still being in a location where it can be easily and conveniently operated. In accordance with preferred embodiments, the central rotary closure is located on an upper outer (lateral) side in an area surrounding the lateral side of the ankle. With the central rotary closure so located, advantageously, the tightening element runs from the central rotary closure, alternately between guide elements on the instep cover and lateral side part of the upper toward the toe area of the shoe, across the instep in the metatarsophalangeal joint area and then runs upwardly on the other (medial) side of the upper, alternating between guide elements on the instep cover and medial side part of the upper. The distal end of the tightening element may be attached to the upper material in the area of inner (medial) side of the ankle, or the tightening element can be run around the heel portion of the upper where the distal end of the tightening element may be returned to the central rotary closure and attached to the upper in the area of the central rotary closure or coupled with the central rotary closure.

Description

The present invention relates to a shoe, in particular sports or leisure shoes, according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such a shoe is known for example from DE-GM 89 12 788. In this shoe, the central twist lock is arranged on the instep cover. This design of shoes, in particular sports or leisure shoes, has already proven itself to a great extent in practice.

The object of the present invention is to provide shoes, in particular sports or leisure shoes, preferably for team sports or for leisure games in the group, with a central rotary lock such that the central rotary lock does not, for example, collide with opponents or with other players preferred tread areas of such shoes.

This object is achieved by the features specified in the characterizing part of claim 1.

By the measure that the central rotary lock is practically in a more or less vertical plane of the outside of the shaft, it is resistant to loads occurring from above, as in team ball games numerous jumping actions very well protected. Nevertheless, it can be easily operated by the user and does not interfere with the wearing of such a shoe or with the exercise of sports or leisure activities.

Further advantageous details of the invention are specified in the subclaims and are described in more detail below with reference to the exemplary embodiments illustrated in the drawing.

In FIG. 1, 1 denotes a shoe with shaft side parts 2, only one of which is visible, and with an instep cover 3 which is movable in the manner of a tongue or forms the tongue or part thereof. The instep cover 3 or the tongue is connected in the toe joint area 4 to the upper material of the shoe 1.

A central rotary lock 6 is provided on the shaft side part 2 on the shaft outer side 9, where the outer ankle 5 of the foot of a user indicated by an "X" is provided.

A clamping element 7, for example a wire or a rope made of plastic or metal, is firmly connected to the central rotary lock 6. As is known, this tensioning element 7 can be wound up or unwound in the interior of the central rotary lock 6 and thus shortened or extended. 1, 9, 10 and 11 from the central rotary lock 6 on the shaft outer side 9 of the outer ankle 5 alternately in each case via a deflecting element UR1 of the instep cover 3, via a deflecting element US1 of the shaft side part 2 in the direction of the shoe tip 8 in the basic toe joint area 4 the foot or shoe and runs from there, alternately via deflection elements US or UR of the other shaft side part 2 and the instep cover 3 up to the area of the inner ankle 10 (see FIGS. 9 to 11). In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 9, the tensioning element 7 is fastened to the upper material in the region of the inner ankle 10. In the tensioning diagram of the tensioning element 7 shown in FIG. 10, the tensioning element 7 is guided around the heel portion 11 and fastened to the upper material on the side of the central twist lock 6, preferably in the area of the central twist lock 6.

According to the tensioning scheme shown in FIG. 11, the tensioning element 7 is returned to the central rotary lock 6 around the heel portion 11 and fastened to it, in particular coupled to it in a tensionable manner.

The central rotary lock 6 is provided in an area 12 of the outer ankle 5, which is indicated by way of example in FIG. 2. Preferably, the surrounding area 12, as shown by way of example in FIG. 3, does not include the narrower area 13 of the outer ankle 5 in order to avoid pressure on the outer ankle 5 as much as possible or in any case to keep it sufficiently low.

Under certain circumstances, it may be advantageous to provide the central rotary lock 6 according to FIG. 4 in a surrounding area section 12.1, which extends above the outer ankle 5 approximately between the heel section 11 and the instep area, or which, according to FIG. 5, extends in the surrounding area section 12.2 is located below the outer ankle 5. It may be expedient to provide the central rotary lock 6 in the surrounding area section 12.3 between the outer ankle 5 and the heel section 11, as indicated in FIG. 6.

The central rotary lock 6 and the uppermost first deflection elements UR1 of the instep cover 3 are arranged in the exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 1 and 7 such that the tensioning element 7 stretched from the central rotary lock 6 to the latter to the imaginary horizontal 14 by a small positive angle + α or by a small negative angle -α of up to about 15 °. In this way, a firm upper end is obtained with a high upper, the tensioning effect being directed towards the heel or the heel section 11. For shoes with a low shaft, especially for low shoes, their arrangement is expediently chosen such that the tensioning element 7 assumes an angle α of approximately 0 ° to 70 ° to the horizontal 14, as shown in FIG. 8. This ensures a good heel fit. The tensioning effect can be directed here into an area lying between the heel or a lower heel section 11 on the one hand and on the other hand on the outside of the foot in the direction of the metatarsal bone or on the inside of the foot in the direction of the arch of the foot.

According to an advantageous further development of the invention, the uppermost first deflecting element UR1 of the instep cover 3 and the respectively following deflecting element UR2 of the instep cover 3 and the deflecting element US1 assigned to them are arranged on the upper material such that the tensioning direction of the tensioning element 7 on the outside in the direction of the area of the heel shaft section 11 - Metatarsal bone and inside between heel section 11 and arch of the foot acts.

The tensioning element 7, which is strongly drawn out in the drawings, is preferably arranged in a manner known per se hidden in guides, channels or the like.

As is known, a central rotary lock 6 with a quick release device can be used, for example by pressing the disc center of the central rotary lock.

In the case of shoes with a long instep cover 3, in particular protruding above the upper shoe edge 15, the section 3.1 present above the ankle 16 can be divided lengthways. The resulting, possibly overlapped separation point 17 can be closed by a quick slot closure 18. This means that even with shoes with a high shaft get a wide opening above the ankle 16 and easier to put on and take off the shoe. The slit quick-release fastener 18 can be, for example, a zip fastener or a slide fastener, or a Velcro fastener in the case of overlapping parts.
