In den Fig. 1 - 3 ist ein Kleinladungsträger veranschaulicht, der einen oben offenen, im wesentlichen quaderförmigen Behälter 10 und einen den Behälter 10 abdeckenden Deckel 12 aufweist. Der Behälter 10 weist an der Innenseite seiner Seitenwände 10a, 10b, 10c, 10d einen teilweise unterbrochenen umlaufenden Sitz 14 in Gestalt eines rechtwinkligen Versatzes auf, der gegenüber dem oberen Behälterrand 16 in das Behälterinnere stufenförmig versetzt ist.
