Description

The present invention relates to a spraying device.

There are already traditional spraying devices under form of push button which are intended to be mounted on fluid distributors (pumps, valves, etc.) connected to tanks.

Fluids and in particular liquids are taken from the tank then sprayed as a micro mist droplets after dispersion at the level of a head comprising a expansion chamber where the distributor ejection opening opens and which communicates by at least one exhaust duct with a nozzle.

The nozzle consists of an insert which is generally cup-shaped with a central hole and which is mounted on the head.

This nozzle defines with the elements of the head on which it is supported by a network of vortex canals.

However, it often happens that the assembly of the nozzle and the head is defective and that consequently the network of channels contains leaks resulting in pressure losses or deterioration of the characteristics spray mist (asymmetry of the projection, direct jets, increase and dispersion of the size of the micro droplets).

Assembly faults are mainly due to improper positioning of the nozzle which is not caught or compensated by corresponding elements of the head due to their rigidity and irremovable nature.

The object of the present invention is to solve this problem technique satisfactorily.

This object is achieved in accordance with the invention by means of a spraying device intended to be mounted on a fluids connected to a tank; of the type comprising a head provided an expansion chamber into which the ejection orifice opens said distributor; and which communicates by at least one conduit outlet with a nozzle, characterized in that said nozzle is consisting of an articulated internal element which is at least partially housed in the exhaust pipe and which includes a central core and a peripheral sleeve disposed coaxially and delimiting between them a distribution enclosure to the interior of the exhaust duct, said core and sleeve being connected by at least one elastically deformable transverse fin for allow relative displacement of said core, and an external element fixed in support waterproof against said internal element to define between their surfaces respective in contact with a network of vortex channels communicating with the discharge pipe and opening to the outside through a spray orifice formed through the external element.

According to a first embodiment, said peripheral sleeve consists of a cylindrical front part extending backwards by an annular radial shoulder which comes to bear in a corresponding recess in the inner wall of the duct evacuation while said central core has one end front provided with a contact face with the external element which extends in a plane substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the internal element and a rear end with a tapered or rounded profile.

Under these conditions, the external element comprises a housing cylindrical internal adapted to receive the front part of said sleeve; the side wall of said housing ending towards the rear by a fixing flange on the internal wall of the exhaust duct which abuts against the radial shoulder of said element sleeve internal.

According to a second embodiment of the invention, said element external is formed by a cup whose flat rear face comes in bearing contact against the respective front faces of the core and the muff.

According to a third embodiment, the sleeve of the element internal is made in one piece with the head and in this case, the fins are provided at the rear of the core and are confused with the wall of the expansion chamber.

According to another characteristic, said network of channels vortex is delimited on the one hand by the front and rear faces of the internal element and the external element respectively, and, on the other part, by an axial crown interspersed with grooves made on the face front of the core of the internal element or on the rear face of the element external. Said crown forms a spacer or a contact stop between the internal element and the external element and borders a central cavity supplied from the discharge conduit by said grooves and which opens directly to the outside through the spray orifice.

In addition, said grooves cross tangentially said crown so as to produce turbulence in said cavity central.

According to a first variant, said axial ring is produced on the front face of said core of the internal element and the bottom of the cavity central is located in the plane containing the front edge of said sleeve.

According to another variant, said axial ring is produced on the rear face of said external element.

Preferably, the length of the core is greater than that of the sleeve so that its rear end projects inside from the exhaust duct towards the expansion chamber.

Thanks to the invention, the quality of the spraying (orientation, homogeneity ...) is significantly improved since the swirling and turbulent movements of fluids are no longer disturbed.

The path traveled by the fluids between the ejection orifice of the distributor and the spray orifice is thus more confined, which provides a homogeneous and more balanced diet of grooves and the central cavity without causing a pressure drop.

The internal and external elements making up the the invention are very easy to carry out according to. traditional processes. Their assembly with the head is very simple and without risk of error or default.

The spraying device of the invention as shown in the figures is intended to be mounted on a pump connected to a liquid tank (not shown).

The embodiment shown in Figure 1 includes a head 1 adapted to cap the tank and provided with a trigger 10 into which the pump ejection orifice opens. The expansion chamber 10 communicates through at least one conduit discharge 11 with a spray nozzle 2.

Manual pressure on the upper face of head 1 causes emission from the nozzle of a mist in the form of a jet of sprayed micro droplets.

La buse 2 est constituée d'un élément interne 21 et d'un élément externe 22.The nozzle 2 consists of an internal element 21 and an element external 22.

L'élément interne 21 est au moins partiellement logé dans le conduit 11.The internal element 21 is at least partially housed in the conduit 11.

The external element 22 is fixed in sealed support against the element internal 21 at the outlet of circuit 11, to define between their surfaces respective in contact, a network of vortex channels which communicates with conduit 11 and which opens to the outside via a spray orifice 220 formed through the internal element 21.

The external element 22 is provided with a front face 22a in the form of deflector with a predetermined angular opening according to the orientation sought for the jet.

This orientation also depends on the geometry of the channels and from that of spray port 220.

The internal element 21 is articulated so as to ensure cladding correct of the external element 22 and thus guarantee an assembly without leak in the vortex channels.

A cet effet, l'élément interne 21 comprend un noyau central 211 et un manchon périphérique 212 disposé coaxialement par rapport au noyau 211.To this end, the internal element 21 comprises a central core 211 and a peripheral sleeve 212 arranged coaxially with respect to the nucleus 211.

The sleeve 212 is at least partially cylindrical and surrounds the core 211 at a distance so as to delimit between them an enclosure of distribution 110 of annular section inside the duct 11.

The core 211 and the sleeve 212 are connected by at least one and, preferably three transverse fins 210 (see also Figures 2a and 2b). The fins 210 are resiliently deformable so as to form a joint allowing relative movement of the core 211 relative to sleeve 212.

Le manchon 212 reste immobile en étant solidarisé avec la paroi interne du conduit 11.The sleeve 212 remains stationary by being secured to the wall internal of duct 11.

The travel of the core 211 is of small amplitude and allows compensate for any misalignment in element plating external 22 or to correct a manufacturing defect.

The three fins connect symmetrically (at angular intervals 120 °) the respective front parts of the core 211 and the sleeve 212.

The core 211 therefore produces in combination with the fins 210 a spring effect which gives flexibility to the assembly and avoids pressure losses in the channels.

The peripheral sleeve 212 as shown in Figures 2a and 2b consists of a cylindrical front part 212a extending backwards by an annular radial shoulder 212b.

The radial shoulder 212b comes into wedging support in a 111 corresponding recess, forming a stop, which is formed in the inner wall of the duct 11.

The internal face of the shoulder 212b has a frustoconical profile which converges in the conduit 11, the liquid flows coming from the expansion chamber 10 towards the distribution enclosure 110.

To favor this phenomenon, the passage 112 of communication between the duct 11 and the chamber 10 is produced with a divergent profile.

In addition, the central core 212 has a cylindrical-conical profile with a rear end 211b tapered and / or convex.

Cette face de contact s'étend dans un plan sensiblement perpendiculaire à l'axe longitudinal X commun à l'élément interne 21, à l'élément externe 22 et au conduit 11.The length of the core is greater than that of the sleeve 212 of so that its rear end 211b protrudes inside the passage 112 towards chamber 10 to divide the flows. in from the distributor. The front end 211a of the core 211 is provided with a contact face with the external element 22. This face of contact extends in a plane substantially perpendicular to the axis longitudinal X common to the internal element 21, to the external element 22 and to conduit 11.

La face externe de la partie avant 212a du manchon 212 épouse de manière étanche la face interne du logement 221 de l'élément externe 21.The external element as shown in Figures 3a and 3b has a cylindrical internal housing 221 adapted to receive the front part 212a of the sleeve 212. The external face of the front part 212a of the sleeve 212 seals the internal face of the housing 221 of the external element 21.

La collerette 222 vient en butée vers l'arrière contre l'épaulement 212b du manchon 212.The side wall of the housing 221 ends rearwards by a 222 mounting flange which allows snapping behind a rod 113 produced on the internal wall of the duct 11 or in the absence of a rod, direct anchoring in the internal wall of said duct 11. The collar 222 abuts backwards against the shoulder 212b of the sleeve 212.

As shown in Figures 3a, 3b and 5a, 5b the network of eddy channels is delimited on the one hand by the front faces 211a and rear 22b respectively of the internal element 21 and the element external 22 and, on the other hand, by a crown 20 of axis X, interspersed with grooves 200. The crown 20 is formed on the front face 211a of the core 211 (Figure 5b) or on the rear face 22b of the external element 22 (Figure 3a). The crown 20 thus forms a spacer or stop contact between the internal element 21 and the external element 22 and borders a central cavity 12 supplied from the conduit 11 and more precisely to from the distribution enclosure 110 through the grooves 200. The cavity central 12 opens directly to the outside through the opening 220 of spray.

The conduit 11 and the enclosure 110 communicate with the cavity central 12 through the peripheral passages located between the fins 210, which increases the turbulence of the flows.

Les gorges 200 traversent le flanc de la couronne 20 selon des directions prédéterminées de façon à établir un régime turbulent et tourbillonnaire à l'intérieur de la cavité 12.The grooves 200 cross the side of the crown 20 according to predetermined directions so as to establish a turbulent regime and swirling inside the cavity 12.

De préférence, l'inclinaison des gorges est telle qu'elles sont tangentes au pourtour interne de la couronne 20..Preferably, the inclination of the grooves is such that they are tangent to the inner periphery of the crown 20 ..

In Figures 4, 5a and 5b the crown 20 is formed on the face front 211a of the core 211 and the bottom of the central cavity 12 is located in the plane containing the front edge 212a of the sleeve 212.

In this way, the front face 211a of the core projects at rest by compared to the front edge 212a but it is depressed by deformation elastic of the fins 210 when the external element is supported 22.

In FIG. 4, the external element 22 is formed of a cup of which the front face is concave and the flat rear face comes into bearing contact both against the respective front faces of the core 211 and of the sleeve 212.

In the embodiment of Figures 6a and 6b, the external element 22 is in the form of a cup as in FIG. 4 and the sleeve of the internal element 21 is made in one piece with the head 1.

The fins 210 are then provided at the rear of the core 211 and are confused with the wall of the expansion chamber 10 while the crown 20 is produced on the front face 211a of the core 211.

The wall separating the chamber 10 from the conduit 11 is, for example, perforated to define the fins 210 and the wall deforms elastically when the core 211 is pushed in.
