Definitions
- the present invention relates to methods which allow to train the crews of the hunters of mines hunting for underwater mines safely for this crew and minimizing costs. She also relates to devices particularly adapted to the implementation of this process.
- the mines themselves which are mostly type resting on the bottom of the sea, consist basically an explosive body often having the shaped like a large cylindrical tank filled with explosive, and a boat detection and tracking system explosive fire.
- the detection of boats is done in different ways, basically magnetic and / or acoustics.
- the known technique for this is to use an exercise mine identical to a normal mine but in which we replaced the explosive with a ballast and we placed a recorder, recording means, a magnetic recording of instrumentation by example, to record the functioning of organs firing detection, especially signals received by the sensors of these organs and the decision made by the operating circuits of these signals.
- a connection a acoustic connection for example, with the boat for to determine in real time the operation detection and ignition electronics.
- This device is not practical, especially because that it requires a varied number of mines only intended for this training, and because it requires a heavy and therefore costly implementation.
- the invention proposes a method of training for mine hunting, according to claim 1.
- the module comprises further means of transmission with the mine hunter allowing at least to transmit towards this mine hunter the data representing the functioning of its detection organs.
- these means of transmission also allow transmission of mine hunter to the intended data module to reconfigure the processing organs of the module.
- the module rests on the bottom of the sea near the mine.
- the module is fixed on the mine.
- the mine is a mooring mine and the module is attached to this mine.
- the data exchanged between the hunter and the module allow telegoniometry the module from the hunter.
- the data received by the hunter allow to simulate electronics with multiple combinations of module sensors.
- the module is connected to a sub-module distant from it and comprising remotely controllable recovery means.
- FIG. 1 There is shown in Figure 1 a hunter of mines 101 sailing on the surface of the sea above of a mine 102 placed on the bottom thereof.
- a computer 104 of the workstation type by example, which allows programming a module 103 intended to be then submerged in the sea.
- This module 103 is composed of a flat body and small dimensions surmounted by an appendix 105 comprising transmit and receive transducers acoustic.
- the dimensions of this body and this appendix are provided so that when the module rests on the bottom of the sea it is invisible to normal hunter sonars, so as not to disrupt the detection of mine 102 itself.
- This invisibility is obtained for example by the combination of module shape, dimensions (vis-à-vis the wavelength of the sonar), of its container and an anechoic coating.
- the complete signal processing electronics are at on board the boat, connected or possibly included in computer 104. This manages the data received from the bottom to simulate one or more electronic mine. We can thus simulate all the possible combinations of sensors and electronics which can be found in mines.
- the boat has relative module / boat positions, acquired in real time during background / surface communication. This allows in particular to modify the measurements received on the sensors and transmitted to the boat for simulate a different operation of the sensors, by example the use of a directive acoustic antenna and / or a magnetic model of the boat.
- the mine hunter 101 which stopped to try to detect mine 102, and module 103 which has been recovered and is connected to computer 104 in order to be able to analyze the data that has been stored in this module.
- the module is equipped with a large capacity recorder which allows to memorize more parameters than those that can be transmitted during exercise between module and the hunter, due to the reduced capacity means of acoustic transmission.
- the method according to the invention makes it possible to use the choice of exercise mines consisting for example of models with the same dimensions and the same sonar signature that a real mine, or mines existing. In both cases we can immerse the mines where desired, but in the case of mines real we can use mines already submerged for other needs and which will be taken care of preferably to neutralize the ignition system.
- wetting of the module we will use for example a diver who will come to set up this module in the desired location for the exercise.
- the invention proposes, as shown in Figure 9, to bring together in addition module 903 at mine 901 by a rope of a length at least equal to the immersion of the mine, 150 m for example.
- a rope of a length at least equal to the immersion of the mine, 150 m for example By remote control from of the hunter 101, we will then cause the swelling a balloon 904 connected to module 903.
- the module driven by the ball When the module driven by the ball will have reached the surface, we will recover this one and we can then recover the mine by traction on the orin 905.
- mine 111 floats between two waters in being attached to a dead body 112 with the help of a rope 114.
- module 113 must translate the behavior from the mine, it is hung on mine 111 above it to be able to communicate with the mine hunter 101.
