    Claims (4)

    1. A withdrawal device on extruders, comprising a delivery surface (1) for supporting the elongate workpiece (2) discharged from the extruder, the end of the workpiece (2) being grippable by a gripper (16, 17) movable by the withdrawal device, wherein two spaced rails (5, 6), arranged above the delivery surface (1) and on either side of an imaginary, vertical, longitudinal central plane (7) thereof, are fixed so as to be parallel with the delivery surface (1), and a carriage (8, 9) is mounted so as to be movable along each respective rail (5, 6), and an arm (12, 13) carrying a gripper (16, 17) is arranged on each of the two carriages (8, 9), wherein the arms (12, 13) of the two grippers (16, 17) are formed in one piece and are pivotable in such a manner that the grippers (16, 17) are pivotable towards or away from the delivery surface (1), characterised in that the optionally substantially L-shaped arms (12, 13) are pivotable about axes (10, 11) being horizontal and at right angles to the discharge direction of the extruder.
    2. A withdrawal device according to claim 1, characterised in that the two limbs, in each case forming an L-shaped arm (12, 13), are rigidly interconnected.
    3. A withdrawal device according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the two L-shaped arms (12, 13) are of like construction, and the horizontal limbs of these arms (12, 13), carrying the grippers (16, 17), are directed towards the vertical longitudinal central plane (7) of the delivery surface (1).
    4. A withdrawal device according to claim 1, characterised in that the limb of each L-shaped arm (12, 13), mounted on the carriage (8, 9) so as to be pivotable about a horizontal axis (10, 11), is angled or bent in its pivoting plane.
