Abstract

Guide rails have areas angled to one another, with at their facing face ends are connected to sheet components also with guide profiles. The sheet components (11) provided with guide profiles (6) have interconnected sheet component parts (17,18), which at their ends turned away from each other are provided with connecting devices for connection to the facing face ends of the guide rails (4,5). The sheet component parts are connected by adjustable and securable connectors (19,20) so that through a length alteration of the sheet component parts in the facing profile areas, an adjustment of the sheet length of the sheet components (11) to the actual angle between the guide rails can take place.

Description

The invention relates to a cover that can be rolled out from a winding shaft, the roll-out end of which is guided with a hem rod in the course of the area to be covered and has guide profiles that have guide profiles, and the guide rails have areas that are arranged at an angle to one another and that are connected at their facing ends via arch elements that also have guide profiles are.

Terrassenanlage handeln. The covers can be, for example, awnings for winter gardens, the awnings can be designed to cover the roof of the winter garden and also to cover the vertical glazing (so-called inclined-vertical systems). However, it can also be, for example, a free-standing terrace system that can be attached to a wall with its box.

The angles between the areas of the guide rails arranged at an angle to one another vary depending on the local conditions. For bridging the area between the end faces of the guide rails which are at an angle to one another, it is known to use so-called cut arch elements. For this purpose, the ends of the guide rails are mitred, and a straight intermediate piece is used, the ends of which are cut at an angle are. This design leads to high wear of the traction elements, since the traction elements are guided over edges. Another disadvantage of this known embodiment is that the hem bar executes jerky movements when the edges are passed over, which adversely affect the overall mechanism.

From DE-OS 38 18 929 it is known to bend the guide rails as a whole. However, this is very expensive since care must be taken during the bending process that no cross-sectional deformation which impairs the function occurs in the bent region. Another disadvantage of this embodiment is that the "vertical parts" and "horizontal parts" which are integrally connected to one another create large components overall, which leads to considerable transport problems, particularly in larger systems.

It has also been proposed to use cast arch elements. Here, however, it is problematic to adapt such arch elements to different angular inclinations between the guide rails.

The invention has for its object to provide curved elements for unwinding devices of the type mentioned, which are inexpensive and can be easily adapted individually to different angles between the guide profiles.

To achieve this object, it is provided according to the invention that the arch elements are divided and each have provided with the guide profiles, interconnected arch element parts, which are provided on their sides facing away from one another with connecting devices for connection to the mutually facing ends of the guide rails, and the arch element parts relative to each other in an imaginary connecting plane between the guide rails mutually adjustable and lockable connecting parts are connected such that by changing the length of the mutually facing profile regions of the arch element parts, the arch length of the arch elements can be adapted to the respective angle between the guide rails.

It is advantageous here that the arch elements according to the invention are not adapted to the respective angles at the respective ends, but that these ends remain unchanged and the adjustment is carried out by preferably shortening the arc element parts on the mutually facing ends. Then you join the arch element parts together so that the shortened end faces are flush against each other. The bow element parts are locked in this position and can thus be easily adapted to the desired angle.

Another advantage is that the connecting device for connection to the facing ends of the guide rails and also the respective end of the guide rails need not be changed to adapt to different angles.

Appropriate embodiments of the invention are described in the subclaims. If the connecting device has moldings which can be inserted into the guide profiles of the guide rails, this has the advantage that the interlocking connection between the guide rail and the arch element which can be achieved thereby can be maintained independently of an adaptation of the arch element to the respective angle.

An improvement in the running properties can be achieved by the tread covering also provided in the tread area of the guide profiles of the arch element parts.

Overall, the invention has the advantage that relatively little adjustment work is required for the adaptation of the arch element to the respectively desired angle, because of the The arch element according to the invention is adapted "in the inner region" of the arch element and not at the end regions.

To pull out the roll-out cover 3 (not shown) tension members in the form of bands are attached to the ends of the hem bar, which are guided via deflection rollers (not shown) arranged in a deflection head denoted by 16 at the lower ends of the guide rails 5 and in the area 7 of the guide profile of the guide rails 5 and the guide rails 4 run back into the interior of the awning box 1, where they are wound up by winding elements (not shown) at the ends of the winding shaft. The winding elements are connected to the winding shaft and have, for example, spools or rope pulleys on which the traction elements wind up when the winding shaft rotates when the cover is unwound from the winding shaft, and vice versa.

The arch element 11 is of divided design and has arch element parts 17 and 18 which have guide profiles corresponding to the guide profiles in the guide rails 6a, 6b or 6a ', 6b'. On the curved element parts 17 and 18 are formed as so-called "eyes" connecting parts 19 and 20, which can be pivoted to one another at a pivot point 21a lying outside the profile areas 6a, 6b or 6a ', 6b' in a plane corresponding to the plane of the drawing and via a Locking device 21 can be locked against each other. The locking device 21 has a screw bolt 23 and a nut 24. Shaped pieces 25 and 26 are molded onto the outer ends of the arch element parts 17 and 18 and can be inserted into the front ends 9 and 10 (FIG. 1) of the guide rails 4 and 5, respectively. A side boundary within the guide profiles 6a and 6a 'is designated by 27. The side limitation serves to guide the ends of the guide rollers (not shown) which are guided in the guide profiles 6a and 6a 'and are attached to the ends of the hem bar 3. The running surfaces of the guide profiles, designated 28, 29 or 28 ', 29' in FIG. 2, can be provided with a running surface cover, for example made of stainless steel band, to improve the running properties (not shown).

Dementsprechend ist das Bogenelement 11 zur Überbrückung des Neigungswinkels von ca. 90° ausgebildet.1, the angle between the guide rails 4 and 5 is approximately 90 °. Accordingly, the arch element 11 is designed to bridge the angle of inclination of approximately 90 °.

18' bezeichnet. In Fig. 4 a roll-off cover is shown for a different angle of inclination. Here, a horizontal glass roof 30 and another glass roof, which extends at an angle α at an angle to it, are shown schematically. At an awning box 1 follow guide rails 4 and 5 ', which are each mounted on trestles 32, 33, 34 above the glass roofs 30 and 31. According to the illustration in FIG. 1, a deflection head 16 and bearing blocks 12 and 13 for deflection rollers 14 and 15 'are also provided here. The arc element denoted by 11 'in FIG. 4 has been adapted to the angle of inclination α changed compared to FIG. 1. The adaptation takes place - starting from the arc element 11 shown in Fig. 2 - in that the facing ends 35 and 36 of the arc element parts 17 and 18 are shortened and then the arc parts 17 and 18 are pivoted toward each other about the pivot point 21a so that the now shortened front ends rest against each other again and are then firmly connected to one another again by means of the locking device 21. The change in length (shortening here) takes place in both arch element parts to such an extent that the shaped pieces provided on the outer end faces are arranged at the desired angles of inclination to one another. The shortened arc element parts according to FIG. 4 compared to the illustration in FIG. 2 are designated there with 17 'and 18'.

The screw bolt 23 has a running surface 37 outside the threaded area for the nut 24. A further deflection roller provided with bearing ends can be plugged onto this running surface.
