Die erfindungsgemäße Ausbildung ermöglicht weiters bei einer in der Außenwand eines Kachelofens vorgesehenen Öffnung die Anbringung eines zusätzlichen Schutzes bei geöffneter Türe gegen sprühende Funken dadurch, daß einer der Rahmenteile mit in das Rahmeninnere abstehenden Anschlagleisten für ein Funkenschutzgitter versehen ist, das um eine vertikale Schwenkachse schwenkbar und in Richtung dieser Schwenkachse verschiebbar gelagert ist, und das an der der Schwenkachse gegenüberliegenden Seite mit einer randoffenen Ausπehmung versehen ist, durch die lediglich nach Verschiebung des Funkenschutzgitters nach oben eine Anschlagleiste hiπdurchführbar ist, wodurch ein Verschwenken des Funkenschutzgitters aus der Schließstellung in eine Offenstellung ermöglicht wird.
