Description
The invention relates to a droppable sabot for a sub-caliber floor according to the preamble of Claim.
In a known sub-caliber bullet of this type (see EP-A-0 300 373) the individual segments are one Sabot rear part through radial, flat partitions divided from each other. With this type of subdivision of Sabot rear part in three or more segments difficulties in detaching the sabot from Projectile body when the projectile emerges from the Pipe mouth. Because on the one hand the individual segments hinder this detachment from each other and on the other hand against push the projectile body out of its path distract so that accuracy is impaired. In addition, the known one is divided radially through the center Sabot body vulnerable to small Manufacturing inaccuracies. The segments can look at not solve such inaccuracies freely from the arrow, they transferred when detached due to small asymmetries Impulse on the projectile body. These unwanted impulses cause strong initial commuting, which causes larger ones Scattered hits result and scattered flight times.
As with the projectile according to EP-0 300 373 are also with a similar projectile According to US 4,881,466 there are radially directed grooves which have a sabot body divide into segments connected via predetermined breaking points. The back ends of each Segments protrude axially into corresponding recesses in the contour area of a base, with which the sabot moves during the movement of the sub-caliber floor moved in the barrel of the gun. When exiting the gun barrel is done by The breaking points break the separation of the sabot body into its segments then free themselves from the base due to the centrifugal force. The disadvantages of radial Grooves are the same as described above; in addition, the construction is proportionate complex.
Furthermore, in DE-30 50 474 C1 a sabot - for one sub-caliber wing-stabilized projectile - with one for pre-segmenting, one-piece, slotted by cutting Body described. To make a simple To achieve increased stability of the sabot are Slits in the form in the one-piece sabot body introduced that additional material bridges Form predetermined breaking points between the individual pre-segments, the slots for sealing with accordingly trained elements are filled out of sheet metal. According to an embodiment of a second sabot those in the axially central area of the sabot body intended further material bridge through against each other arranged slots formed, each in one to one Diameter parallel plane. To the function of this to fulfill another material bridge as a predetermined breaking point, the parallel displacement of the slots can only be very slight fail. In addition, when detaching the sabot from Projectile a disruptive influence on the projectile unintended mutual contact with one of the Segments are reduced by increasing the size Number of sabot segments.
The problem solved with the present invention is to create a sabot, which is more reliable and trouble-free from the projectile body detaches, if possible without the projectile body in To start initial commuting.
This object is achieved by the features in Characteristic of claim 1 solved.
This special arrangement of dividing surfaces between the individual segments of the sabot body achieved that when these segments are detached from Projectile body Bumps of the segments against the projectile body be avoided.
This has the advantage that the accuracy of the hit Sub-caliber bullets or sabot bullets improved can be.

Gemäss Fig.1 weist ein Treibspiegelgeschoss 10 einen
Pfeilgeschosskörper 11 auf, der an seinem hinteren Ende
Stabilisierungsflügel 12 besitzt. Die Spitze des
Pfeilgeschosskörpers 11 befindet sich in einer Haube 13, die
an einem Treibspiegel 14 befestigt ist. Im mittleren Teil
weist der Pfeilgeschosskörper 11 ein Gewinde 15 auf, auf
das der Treibspiegel 14 aufgeschraubt ist. Der Treibspiegel
14 setzt sich aus einem Treibspiegelmantel 17 und einem
Treibspiegelkörper 16 zusammen. Der Treibspiegelmantel 17
wird vorzugsweise aus Kunststoff hergestellt. Für den
Treibspiegelkörper 16 eignet sich vorzugsweise Aluminium.
Auch die Haube 13 wird vorzugsweise aus Kunststoff
hergestellt.
miteinander verbunden (siehe insbesondere Fig. 7 und 8).According to FIG. 1, a
The structure and design of the
It has now been shown that this radial
Arrangement of the separating surfaces 29 or
Sollbruchstellen 22.
5 acts on a
werden soll.3 and 4, the slots or
gleichen Radialebene liegen, was an sich angestrebt wird.6 acts on a
Gemäss Fig.7 erstreckt sich die Sollbruchstelle 22 in
Axialrichtung gesehen über die ganze Länge des
Treibspiegelkörpers 16. Gemäss Fig.8 ist nur am vorderen und
hinteren Ende des Treibspiegelkörpers 16 je eine
Sollbruchstelle 22 vorhanden.
According to FIG. 7, the
The arrangement of the slots or
Jedes Segment 26 weist zwei
Aussparungen 25 auf, um überflüssige Massen zu vermeiden.According to Figure 9, the
10, these slots or
vermeiden.The
entspricht.3 is the predetermined distance d between the
Ferner können vorzugsweise die Trennflächen 29 oder Schlitze
bzw. Nuten 19 gemäss den Figuren 3 und 4 statt parallel
windschief zu den entsprechenden Radialebenen angeordnet
sein.Furthermore, the separating surfaces 29 or slots can preferably

Gemäss Fig.11 fliegen die einzelnen Segmente 20 des
Treibspiegelkörpers 16 nach ihrer Ablösung vom
Geschosskörper 11 in Richtung des Pfeiles V, d.h. tangential
zum Geschosskörper 11 davon. Gleichzeitig beginnt jedes
der gewünschten Bahn abgelenkt.11, the
Dies soll erfindungsgemäss vermieden werden. Wie diese
beiden Stösse der Treibspiegelkörper-Segmente 20 gegen den
Geschosskörper 11 vermieden werden, soll anhand der beiden
Figuren 12 und 13 erläutert werden.According to the invention, this should be avoided. Like these

According to FIGS. 12 and 13, the
As already explained above, the
The air resistance acting on a
To sum up: As soon as the
Diese beiden Stösse des Segmentes 20 gegen den
Geschosskörper 11 werden vermieden durch die
erfindungsgemässe Anordnung der bekannten Trennflächen 29
