Der Erfindung liegt damit die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Verstärkungsprofil der eingangs beschriebenen Art vorzuschlagen, das einfach und billig hergestellt werden kann und dem zu verstärkenden Pfosten eine große Stabilität verleiht. Diese Aufgabe wird bei einem Verstärkungsprofil der eingangs genannten Art gelöst durch zwei Blechprofile, die beidseitig eines längs sich erstreckenden Zwischenstückes Abwinklungen aufweisen und mit ihren zwischen den Abwinklungen liegenden Zwischenstücken gegeneinander anliegen, wobei die Abwinklung an einer Längsseite L-förmig und in spiegelbildlicher Anordnung vorgesehen und mit einem internen Pfostenverstärkungsprofil verbindbar ist. Ein solches Verstärkungsprofil, aufgesetzt außen auf den Fensterpfosten und bspw. mit Hilfe der L-förmigen Abwinklungen mit einem internen Pfostenverstärkungsprofil verschraubt, ergibt eine außerordentlich große Verbesserung der Steifigkeit des Fensterpfostens. Dieses Verstärkungs-profil kann sehr leicht als Meterware aus Stahlblech gewalzt werden und muß nach Ablängung lediglich spiegelbildlich gegeneinander gelegt werden, um in dieser Anordnung mit einem internen Pfostenverstärkungsprofil bspw. durch eine Verschraubung verbunden zu werden. Dies kann sehr leicht nachträglich an hierfür geeigneten Fensterpfosten durchgeführt werden. Eine Ausgestaltung der Erfindung sieht vor, daß zur Verbindung mit dem internen Pfostenverstärkungsprofil ein mit diesem verschraubbares C-Profil vorgesehen ist, welches die Enden der L-förmigen Abwinklungen eng umfassen kann. Eine solche Ausbildung ist besonders dann vorteilhaft, wenn der zu verstärkende Fensterpfosten nur ein einziges zentral angeordnetes internes Pfostenverstärkungsprofil aufweist. Es kann zunächst das gen. C-Profil mit diesem internen Pfostenverstärkungsprofil verschraubt werden und es können sodann die beiden Profilhälften oder Profilteilstücke des Verstärkungsprofils mit ihren L-förmigen Abwinklungen in das C-Profil eingesetzt werden. In dieser Anordnung können sie vorzugsweise an ihren Zwischenstücken miteinander z.B. durch eine Verschraubung verbunden werden. Der Fensterpfosten weist somit nicht zwei mit Abstand nebeneinander angeordnete interne Pfostenverstärkungsprofile auf, sondern lediglich ein einziges, zentrales Pfostenverstärkungsprofil, so daß das extern anzubringende Verstärkungsprofil über eine Schiene 12 mit dem internen Pfostenverstärungsprofil verbunden werden muß. Hierzu ist die Schiene 12 über Schrauben 22 in Richtung des Längsverlaufs des Pfostens mit dem internen Pfostenverstärkungsprofil verschraubt. Diese Schiene 12 erstreckt sich hierbei vorzugsweise über die gesamte Höhe des Pfostens, obwohl dies nicht zwingend ist. Es könnten auch an unterschiedlichen Stellen, über die Pfostenhöhe verteilt, Teilstücke einer solchen Schiene 12 vorgesehen sein. Die Abwinklung 19 bildet in jeweils rechtwinkliger Abwinklungsfolge eine Hälfte eines Kastenprofils 7 mit jedoch nach innen rechtwinklig eingefaltetem Rand 8 bzw. 9. Zur Herstellung des Verstärkungsprofils 1 werden zunächst die Blechprofile 3 und 4 in zueinander spiegelbildlicher Anordnung, aber einzeln, mit ihren L-förmigen Abwinklungen 18 in das C-Profil 21 der Schiene 12 eingeschwenkt, wodurch die Zwischenstücke 5 und 6 in gegenseitige Anlage gebracht und in dieser Anlage miteinander verschraubt werden können. Eine Fixierung in axialer Richtung ist in der Regel nicht erforderlich, weil dies von den äußeren Begrenzungen des Fensterrahmens oder ähnlicher Bauteile übernommen werden kann. Bei Bedarf kann jedoch auch eine Fixierung in Längsrichtung bspw. durch eine einfache Verschraubung zwischen Abwinklung 18 und C-profil 21 erfolgen. Ist auf diese Art und Weise das Verstärkungsprofil zusammengesetzt und damit über die Schiene 12 mit dem internen Pfostenverstärkungsprofil verbunden, ist die gewünschte statische Wirkung erreicht. Das Verstärkungsprofil 1 kann nun von einer Kunststoffkappe 13 abgedeckt werden, die einfach von außen übergeschoben werden kann. Innere Stege 23 in der Kunststoffkappe 13 sorgen für eine Anlage der Kunststoffkappe 13 am Kastenprofil 7 des Verstärkungsprofils 1, während weitere innere Stege 24 auf der Unterseite des Kastenprofils 7 zu Anlage kommen und damit verhindern, daß die Kunststoffkappe 13 wieder abfällt. Es ist vielmehr ein kräftiger Zug erforderlich, um die Kunststoffkappe 13 gegen die entsprechende Federkraft der Stege 24 wieder abzuziehen. Claims (10)
- Section member for exteriorly reinforcing a window mullion, characterised by two sheet metal sections (3, 4; 14, 15) which have bends (18, 19; 18', 19') on both sides of a longitudinally extending intermediate element (5, 6; 5', 6') and rest against one another at their intermediate elements (5, 6; 5', 6') between the bends, whereby the bend (18; 18') provided on a longitudinal side is L-shaped and in a mirror inverted arrangement and is connectable with an inner reinforcing section (20).
- Section member according to claim 1, characterised in that for connecting with the inner reinforcing section (20) a C-profile section (21) is provided which can be screwed thereto and which can closely surround the ends of the L-shaped bends (18, 18').
