Claims (7)
- Werkzeug (1) zum Schleifen von Brillengläsern (10) aus Kunststoff, mit einer kalottenförmigen Oberfläche (2), die zumindest zonenweise einen mit ihr fest verbundenen Belag (21) mit abrasiv wirkenden Hartpartikeln aufweist und die als Träger (3) für ein folienartiges Schleifmittel (20) zwecks Durchführung eines Feinschliffes vorgesehen ist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der abrasive Belag für die Durchführung eines Grobschliffes bestimmt ist, dass er durch eine Vielzahl von Foliensegmenten (22) gebildet ist, dass die Segmente (22) aus einer Folie hergestellt sind, die aus einer metallischen Matrix mit eingelagerten Hartpartikeln besteht, und dass die Segmente inselartige Elemente bilden, die vollständig oder weitgehend durch Zwischenräume getrennt sind und die insbesondere zumindest teilweise über brückenartige Verbindungsstellen (29) zusammenhängen und so einen oder mehrere Verbände bilden. - Schleifwerkzeug nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Matrix der Foliensegmente (22) aus Glas-Metall besteht und die Hartpartikel als primäre Ausscheidung aus der Schmelze vorliegen.
- Schleifwerkzeug nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zumindest einzelne der Foliensegmente (22) kreisringförmig ausgebildet sind.
- Schleifwerkzeug nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die kreisringförmigen Foliensegmente (22) radiale, schlitzförmige Ausnehmungen (26) aufweisen.
- Schleifwerkzeug nach Anspruch 3 oder 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der abrasive Oberflächenbelag (21) aus kreisringförmigen Foliensegmenten (22) gleicher Grösse zusammengesetzt ist.
- Schleifwerkzeug nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Foliensegmente (22) zumindest gebietsweise hexagonal angeordnet sind, wobei die Abstände der Mittelpunkte benachbarter Foliensegmente zumindest angenähert gleich gross sind.
- Verfahren zum Schleifen von Brillengläsern (10) aus Kunststoff, mit einem Werkzeug (1) gemäss einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in einem ersten Schritt mit dem abrasiven Belag ein Grobschliff durchgeführt wird, dass in einem zweiten Schritt ein folienartiges Schleifmittel (20) auf die kalottenförmige Werkzeugoberfläche (2) aufgebracht wird und dass in einem dritten Schritt mit diesem Schleifmittel ein Feinschliff vorgenommen wird.
