- the electric motor 9 is actuated to rotate the worm screws 8 by means of the belt 10, causing the upper plate 6 to descend, which clamps the container C onto the lower plate 2.
- the electric motor 14 is then activated and, by means of the belt 15, rotates the shaft 16 about the axis X - X, this causing the framework 5 to rotate eccentrically with an orbital - oscillatory motion about the axis X - X by means of the pins 18.
- the overall oscillation of the two frameworks 5, 11 is at least partially counterbalanced by their own weight and by the counterweight 33.
- This oscillation relative to the fixed support structure 20 gives rise to an alternating relative oscillation of the driving bar 29 with respect to the support structure 20.
- This oscillation drives into rotation the ratchet device 28 which imparts a unidirectional and intermittent rotary motion to the lower plate 25 by means of the toothed wheel 26.
- An alternative to the adoption of the ratchet device 28 for imparting the rotary motion to the lower plate 2 consists of providing the agitator with an auxiliary electric motor which is electronically controlled and whose output shaft is operatively connected to the pinion 26.
- the electronic control of the auxiliary electric motor drives into rotation the pinion 26 according to a selectively predetermined law which may be for example a unidirectional and intermittent rotary motion, as the one accomplished by the ratchet device 28 described above, or, more generally a unidirectional or bidirectional rotary motion, either intermittent or continuous.
- a further alternative embodiment of the invention disclosed in the present specification provides for an idle lower plate and an upper plate which is driven into rotation by a drive unit, either in the form of the ratchet device 28 or of the auxiliary electric motor hereinabove mentioned.
- This embodiment allows the lower plate to be slidably mounted on guide rails or similar supporting elements so as to be extracted at least partially from the support structure of the agitator for simplifying the operation of loading and unloading thereof.

Claims (9)
- Agitateur pour mélanger ou mêler divers produits, en particulier des peintures ou des vernis placés dans des récipients (C), comprenant :- une structure de support générale (20) ;- un premier châssis (11) connecté de façon élastique à la structure de support (20) ;- un second châssis (5) qui est associé au premier châssis (11) avec faculté d'oscillation relative ;- des moyens de maintien (2, 6) associés au second châssis (5) pour serrer entre eux l'un au moins des récipients (C) contenant les produits à mélanger ;- des moyens opérationnels (14, 15, 16, 17, 18) qui sont en outre prévus pour entraîner un mouvement oscillatoire orbital du second châssis (5) par rapport à un axe de référence (X-X) qui est fixé par rapport au premier châssis (11),caractérisé en ce que les moyens de maintien (2, 6) comprennent une unité motrice (25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30) agissant sur les moyens de maintien pour appliquer au récipient (C) un mouvement de rotation général autour d'un second axe, différent et non-parallèle à l'axe de référence (X-X), qui est superposé sur le mouvement oscillatoire orbital.
- Agitateur selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les moyens de maintien (2, 6) comprennent un premier élément en plaque (2) monté en rotation sur le premier châssis (5), comprenant des moyens de transmission dentés (25) accouplés à un élément de pignon (27) qui est entraîné en rotation pour appliquer au premier élément de plaque (2) ledit mouvement de rotation autour dudit second axe.
- Agitateur selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que ledit premier élément de plaque (2) comprend au moins une partie périphérique sensiblement cylindrique qui est associée à une bride dentée (25) accouplée audit élément de pignon (27), une unité à cliquet (28) qui peut être activée au moyen d'une barre d'entraînement (29) articulée sur la structure de support (20) qui entraîne le pignon (27) et ainsi le premier élément de plaque (2) dans une rotation intermittente et unidirectionnelle.
- Agitateur selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que ledit élément de pignon (27) est accouplé à un moteur électrique auxiliaire qui est commandé pour entraîner l'élément de pignon (27) et donc le premier élément de plaque (2) en rotation.
- Agitateur selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que lesdits moyens de maintien comprennent un second élément de plaque folle (6) montée en rotation sur le premier châssis (5), ledit premier élément de plaque et ledit second élément de plaque (2, 6) coopérant en utilisation pour serrer au moins un récipient (C).
- Agitateur selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce qu'un second élément de plaque folle (6) est disposé au-dessus du premier élément de plaque (2), des moyens de guidage étant prévus pour extraire au moins partiellement le second élément de plaque depuis la structure de support pour l'opération de chargement et de déchargement.
- Agitateur selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les moyens de maintien (2, 6) comprennent au moins un premier élément de maintien (2) qui peut se déplacer sélectivement dans la direction d'un second élément de maintien (6).
- Agitateur selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que le premier élément de maintien (2) comprend une ou plusieurs traverses (5) associées à des tiges filetées respectives (8), la rotation sélective desdites tiges filetées déterminant le mouvement dans un sens ou dans l'autre, respectivement, du premier élément de maintien (2) dans la direction du second élément de maintien (6).
- Agitateur selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend au moins un moteur (14) associé à un arbre (16) supporté en rotation par le second châssis (11), le premier châssis (5) étant couplé de manière excentrique à l'arbre (16), dont la rotation détermine, en fonctionnement, le mouvement oscillatoire orbital du premier châssis (5).
