Abstract

The invention relates to a guide-rail arrangement for a winter-garden awning or the like, an awning canvas being arranged on an awning-canvas winding shaft and the front end of the awning canvas being provided with an opening-out profile which is guided, on both sides, in in each case one guide rail and is retained in a stressed state by means of a positive-return system, and the guide rails extending perpendicularly with respect to the awning-canvas winding shaft and being retained, by retaining devices, at a distance from a surface which is to be shaded, such as the glass roof of a winter garden. In order to achieve a possibility for fastening independently of the respective distance and inclination angle between roof and guide rail, the invention provides that the retaining arrangement (11) exhibits two retaining legs (13, 14) which are connected pivotably to one another and to a fastening part (12), can pivot about a horizontal pivot axis (10), and on whose free ends there are, in turn, arranged connecting parts (21, 22) which can pivot about a horizontal pivot axis and are displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the guide rails (9) and are connected thereto. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a guide rail arrangement for a conservatory awning or the like, wherein an awning cloth is arranged on a cloth winding shaft, which is guided on both sides via a guide rail and is held under tension by means of a counter-pull system, the guide rails extending perpendicular to the cloth winding shaft and by holding devices at a distance from a surface to be shaded, such as the glass roof of a winter garden. Such an arrangement is known from DE-A-4 006 944.

Such guide rail arrangements are used in particular for shading conservatories, this shading often to prevent the interior from heating up on the outside, i.e. is attached above the conservatory roof. The awning cover can be extended, whereby the counter-pull system ensures that the awning cover is kept taut in any intermediate position and is also wound up in a defined manner when it is retracted.

The attachment of the guide rails relative to a roof arrangement, such as. B. a conservatory roof, is then relatively easy and can be accomplished with conventional mechanical fasteners if the guide rails run parallel to the respective roof. Sometimes, however, such a parallel arrangement is not feasible, for example if the cloth winding shaft does not have to be attached to the winter garden itself, but to the wall, or if a greater distance must be maintained between the cloth and the conservatory roof, which allows roof windows to be opened. This can make it necessary for the guide rails to be at a significantly greater distance from the conservatory roof, for example in the region of their upper end, than in the region of their lower end.

If, starting from this situation, it is now necessary to attach intermediate brackets or supports in the area between the upper and lower ends of the guide rails, the corresponding brackets must conventionally be produced on site by sheet metal bending work or the like, i.e. the assembly is very complex. This is aggravated by the fact that brackets or supports cannot be attached anywhere between the guide rails and the roof structure, i.e. a connection to the roof is only possible where there are rungs of the supporting structure and not where there are glass or plastic surfaces.

Proceeding from this, the invention is based on the object of designing a guide rail arrangement of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that simple and nevertheless stable assembly can be implemented with low demands on the assembly personnel.

This object is achieved by the features of claim 1.

This configuration ensures that the corresponding arrangement can be adjusted to a practically arbitrary effective length up to the maximum length of the holding legs, in that the leg ends on the guide rail side are displaced with a more or less wide spread. In addition, it is possible to easily move the attachment point along the guide rail as required. Another important advantage of this arrangement is that the holding legs can also be adjusted with respect to any angle between the guide rail and the support structure. In any case, high stability is achieved due to the triangular configuration formed by the holding legs.

Advantageously, it is provided that the connecting parts have keder-like approaches, which are in a kind of clamping groove on the guide rail a longitudinally displaceable end, but engage largely without play in the direction perpendicular to the guide rail. As a result, the height of the triangle formed by the holding legs can be adjusted more freely by shifting, on the other hand there is a clamping effect when loaded.

It is also advantageously provided that the guide rails are designed as one-piece profile rails, a guide recess for the drop profile being open to the side in the installed state and offset in the installed state by 90 ° to the clamping groove for the connecting parts.

The fastening parts can be designed in the form of an L-profile, one L-leg having a bore for the mounting of the holding leg by means of a screw-nut arrangement and the other L-leg having bores for fastening screws.

If the guide rails are above the surfaces to be shaded, e.g. of a winter garden roof, can be advantageously provided that a jamming and locking of the connecting parts or the holding legs is brought about by the force of gravity of the guide rails.

If, on the other hand, the guide rails are suspended, that is to say arranged below the surface to be shaded, it may prove to be advantageous for the connecting parts to have locking devices such as locking screws or the like for locking in the clamping groove.

In Fig. 1, the arrangement of a conservatory awning 1 above the only schematically indicated glass roof 2 of a conservatory is shown in the side view, which adjoins a house wall 3.

The conservatory awning 1 comprises a bearing housing 4 for a cloth winding shaft rotatable about an axis of rotation 5 for an awning cloth with a drop profile, the roll shaft, cloth and drop profile not being shown in the drawing. The bearing housing 4 is attached via a bracket 6 to the wall 3 at a distance from the glass roof 2 which is greater than the height of the bracket 7 for the lower end 8 of the guide rails 9, which extends vertically on both sides of the cloth winding shaft from the bearing housing 4 to extend lower end 10 of the glass roof 2.

A holding arrangement 11 according to the invention serves to bridge the distance between the guide rails 9 and the glass roof 2 which is to be reduced downwards.

The holding arrangement 11 comprises two holding legs 13, 14 pivotably connected to one another and to a fastening part 12, which are pivotable in the region of the fastening part 12 about a horizontal pivot axis 15, which is defined by a screw 16 or a nut 17. The screw 16 and the nut 17 are arranged on a bore of a first L-leg 18 of the fastening part 12, whereas a second L-leg 19 or the like parallel to the conservatory roof 2 on a rung. (not shown in the drawing) is the same and has a bore 20 for a fastening screw.

At the free outer ends of the holding legs 13, 14 connecting parts 21, 22 are arranged, which are connected to the holding legs 13, 14 via pivot bearings formed by screws 23, 24.

Each connecting part 21, 22 has an end 25 which is thickened like a button and engages in a kind of clamping groove 26 on the underside of the guide rail 9. In other words, this groove 26 has on its underside a slot which is narrower than the width of the groove and the projection 25 engages with its head which extends approximately over the width of the groove, the area below the head correspondingly the slot width is tapered.

In addition, the guide rails 9 have, laterally in FIG. 6, a guide recess 27 for the drop profile and an opposing further groove 28 not used in the exemplary embodiment.

The lugs 25 can be moved in the clamping groove 26 of each guide rail 9 and, of course, the holding legs 13, 14 pivotably articulated thereon, so that it can be ensured that the fastening parts 12 with their legs 19 at one point on the roof 2 lie where, for example, a rung is located, or which is particularly well suited for attachment for other reasons, so that it can then be fixed by means of the screws 29 only indicated. It is not necessary to take into account the respective distance X or the respective inclination of the guide rail 9 relative to the roof 2.

This is evident, for example, from the comparison of FIGS. 2 and 3, which show that different height spacings X 1 and X 2 can be set by spreading the legs 13, 14 to a greater or lesser extent. The comparison of FIGS. 4 and 5 also shows that by pivoting about the pivot axis 15, the holding arrangement 11 can be adapted to different inclination angles Y 1 and Y 2 .
